- James Marsters at the Grand Slam con held in Burbank, CA on Feb. 16, 2013. Some clips from his Q&A. It starts after James had asked fans in the audience to try to embarrass him. So a fan had asked him to sing the female part of a song from the Buffy musical, "Once More With Feeling". He replied that he didn't even remember his own part. Then he started singing the theme to the original Star Trek series, which is where this video starts.

I agree he looks nowhere near 50. Sure he looks older than on Buffy & Angel, but he still looks great for his age. I could easily see him in the role of Spike again. All he needs is to dye his hair blonde and put on the coat.

Well, it's good to know that Spike and Angel got along IRL.
After he sings the Star Trek theme, and he says, "Didn't work!", he's saying that the fan had failed to embarrass him. :-D

Thanks for posting Becky !! I'm sure I didn't embarrass him either, but I know he wanted to talk about his band, my question was a good set up. He said it was a good question (really it was 3 or 4). That's good, because I thought of it as I was standing there waiting...

lol and years after u made this comment he does a voice in Dragon Ball Super, and of a character (Zamasu) who actually uses the (super) dragon balls lol... and i kno he was in the live action movie but i like to pretend it doesnt exist lol
If I hadn't been sick, it would have been fun to be at the panel. However, upon watching James, I'm starting to believe that he (and every other string player) have some odd DNA in common - They have no issues being embarrassing around their families and doing silly, random things.
It would be cool if he had his own reality show, but I totally also get why he doesn't. James: "They get so much respect, don't they?" Hahaha!! I love his San Francisco Ghost Hunt though!!!
