Nice one Alan, I've a couple of VHF handsets that I'm 'allowed' to use as I have a bit of paper. After a lifetime in communications its the only bit of relevant paper I have. 🤣I've meant to look into some of the cheaper PMR ones so cheers for prompting me.
Good presentation Alan. If any of your UK viewers are interested in basic comms, they can go online to Moonraker radios where they carry an entire line of CB, PMR, Amateur (ham), etc... There are other radio stores all over GB & the UK... there's another store, I think called Nevada radios. I'm in the States as you know and have the U.S. Amateur Technician, GMRS, and currently waiting for the FCC to issue my business license with my own two frequencies.
Get that ham license we would love to talk from across the pond
One day 🤣 if I'm honest I'm run ragged at the moment with work and house maintenance.
Thanks for watching and enjoy your day 👍
