I just found you. 61yo F from Aust and this is the only channel I've found that is remotely relatable to us. Good common sense info without the bloody endless bang sticks and pew pews. Loving the female inclusion as well. Please get your mojo back quickly because all of we Commonwealth Women need you. THANK YOU.

At least one of the more realistic videos about a Go bag (as I call it) or a BOB as some people call it. As for documents I have all important ones scanned on a metal USB stick that I EDC on my keychain. Of course it's always good to have some emergency numbers in your wallet. I EDC a mini multitool in my pocket but have a full size multitool and Silcock key in my Go bag. I would also add some zip ties.

A fire proof/water proof docs pouch would be a nice add and a good way to keep your docs together. I like the idea of a notebook with important phone numbers. A shemagh would be a cool add. A med pouch is a must-have. Also a contractor trash bag is good for wet things. Honestly a poncho should be a must......gotta stay dry.

Another valuable, practical, informative UK centric video. Hope all is well and you haven’t been targeted for online grief. I was back in the UK a few weeks ago visiting my elderly mother, decided to beef up and build out her preps a bit more. I noticed that the large butane bottles are now available at the local petrol stations. I didn’t find much variety in canned food at Tesco and Waitrose, seems tastes have changed and most soups, stews etc are refrigerated. I bought oatmeal and sourced some proper honey. Surprised at how many independent pubs have closed or just seem to be hanging on. People seemed to have changed their consumption habits since COVID. The high street seemed healthy in Newbury but the small corner shops seem to be suffering. Sadly the village shop in Woolhampton near Newbury has closed. Hope you are feeling better. The world has gone mad and I have no doubt serious trouble is heading our way, possibly from multiple sources and directions. Being well prepped is reassuring and I make a determined effort to disconnect on Saturdays completely, go for a hike or just slam some drinks down at the port in Marbella. Feel better soon brother your videos are unique and valuable.

Another nice, simple and practical video. I never know why so many people feel as if they're going to get the urge to run to the hills and start fishing whenever there's a problem. More often than not, it's just a case of having a few extra bits available to tie you over until normality returns!

      Glad you're back ...
The fairly crap snugpak jungle blanket / jungle bag could easily be replaced with the truly legendary carinthia tropen sleeping bag ...( also has the built in zipped bug mesh , very decent insulation.. top quality zips )
Not much bigger than the snugpak and wayyyy wayyyy better ..
I'm impressed with the rest of your choices .
      Great video.

What’s missing, you got your bag, you got your phone I hope, or your computer, or IPad, and a charging setup for your electronics, I would add that, and a few power packs, then family documents, house documents, insurance and financials, copies of which you should definitely have in your run kit, don’t forget cash in small bills, more AA, and AAA batteries, your area may suffer a power outage. Never leave home without a good knife, or multi tool, and a means of fire, I would add a bigger trauma kit, and the set of rescue shears.

This is what my go bag is, but great to see confirmation. The only thing I would add is 1-2 days of any medication you regularly take, and a bag or container for any pets you need to take with you. I have a small duffel with extra food, extra leashes, and collapsible dishes. I saw another video on someone else's channel awhile back where he had put together several bags and boxes of other items he had color coded for a scale of importance, depending on the emergency and how long it would last. If there was time and the emergency was going to last longer (such as wildfire and chemical spill evacuation, etc), he could grab more things. I am not that organized but thought it was a great idea.

Very well thought out and practical for exactly the scenario you point out. One thing I add on my day bag is a British /Dutch army utility strap to the grab handle on the bag so that a coat can be fastened to the bag. It will be securely held and just drape over the bag.

A good informative video, especially for those who are new to being prepared. I stumbled upon your channel a few days ago, I thought you looked familiar but I couldn't place where I knew you from. When you mentioned in this video about builders finding a UXB, I realised that you probably lived in the same area as myself. I think we worked for the same company a good few years ago. Just wanted to say hello & that it's good to see a YT Prepper that I've known. Keep Prepping!

My b.o.b. purposely has only one pocket on the outside so I'm not tempted to overload it and make it too heavy. I try and remember tp look through it every so often - check things are ok, no leaks of anything, add stuff in etc. Good idea about the wee torch on the cord.

Morning Alan, nice video. Floods not an issue where I am, however hill fires are and in the past people have been evacuated because of the acrid smoke, but a real curve ball was that in December a Tornado ripped through my locality and people were evacuated because of damage to houses, etc. I would have never thought of that one in the UK

    • @p2snetwork

Tornadoes believe it or not are extremely common in the UK. I remember reading some where that per square mile it has almost double the USA. Obviously the size of the tornadoes are tiny and size of us vs UK is vast 😂 buts it's a brilliant bit of trivial information

Thanks for doing the vid mate, I don't have anything at that level, my 'stepping out/potential hospital bag' isn't as beefy and I don't have a 'BOB' bag or the like. You've given me food for thought on it so thank you, I have a load of rucksacks that I could utilise and that sort of level makes a lot of sense. One thing I spotted (that might be in your FAK stuff) is standard meds, one that seems to be overlooked is the immodium kind of malarkey, if you're out of your normal situation then your diet might change and well..... shit happens.
    Thanks again mate.

👏👏 another class video, and an actual BOB not some lets go play army carrying everything but the mondeo engine. The good thing i like about this is IF a really bad shtf happened you could quite easily add a few bits and it would still hold you up for a long time bish bash bosh out the house in minutes. Said it before your videos are actually the best on RUclips sick of seeing these plastic warriors wanting to play hide in the hills with ridiculous gear set ups and im an ex vet it's barmy. If you need 110litre bag filled to brim youve already failed. Knowledge is king.
