I was very worried when the game gave me 3 floors just to defeat the Red Mist. And then I started panicking when all my friends told me that yes, you really really need those three floors.
I just had a couple of Turn 1 burst teams setup for if my first team died. I beat her first try with first floor cause of luck but those other floors did come to use when having to farm for red mist books.
I actually did it first try with one floor (Roland's so I could have all five Librarians even if it meant no EGO) the secret is to load up on on paralysis causing attacks (I'll End You works well since it gives two stack of paralysis if both attacks hit) and feeble effects (Forceful Gesture works well here, because it lets you draw a card when you play it and rolling a 5-16 die it has the strength to connect over almost all of her attacks). It's all about having the right strategy.
Technically the Blue Reverbation's power comes from those he's connected to, not from himself. In a 1 vs 1, Red Mist would basically mop the floor with him.
I love how it's set up to where Binah's deck is literally the direct counter to The Red Mist, and it's the fight that lets you use Binah everywhere else after you win. For example, Degraded Chain countering the Infinite speed die. EDIT: Binah's page also resists Slash damage, the damage type both Great Splits deal.
I think it's also important to note that using Degraded Pillar counters both Onrush and Greater Split Vertical, as the die cannot be recycled afterwards, thus destroying both of those pages should they clash with Degraded Pillar
downloaded a mod for Team Fortress 2 that plays this theme whenever a player gets their weapons charged with guaranteed crits. now hearing a Kritzkrieg around the corner is even more terrifying. on the other hand, having a kritzkrieg on me is a sense of power that words can't describe, especially when every enemy in my line of sight turns into nothing but a _red mist._
What make Gebura/Kali more awesome is that All of her Abnormalities pages contain mostly effects that allows you to solo an entire if you play it right. Red Mercenary: Allows her to maintain her strength each time she getting hit and gain even more strength if it's ever fall into 50% Big bad wolf: Make her counter dice even more powerful while also inflicting fragile to a moron who actually even dare to hit her. Mountain of Sh*t: As much as I hate them I gotta give credit to whoever make the "Mountain of corpses" page. This turn her into raid boss with the cost of all of your Librarian life. It's amazing how a single page can turn me into a monster.
I prefer Claws of Savagery for soloing, because if Geb is the only person on field - enemies don't do anything. Just anything. No buffs, no page draws, no counters, just basic one light restore per scene. And you do a lot of stuff, oh, you do :D
Not to mention absorption (also from mountain of smiling bodies), which is an easy way to gain strength proportional to the HP you restore, as well as two good ways to allow Gebura to restore health in later abnormality pages, or just double the power of your last die...
NT Can also allow her mass attack to heal her to practically full, double her last die’s roll, or just flat out ignore stagger damage to keep her in EGO indefinitely!

i just found out Kali means "Complete" in some language i don't know. The reason the Red Mist is so strong is because she is "Complete" she has the basic abilities, the enhancements, her own E.G.O at practically ALEPH as well as the will power and desire to wield all this power, bringing it to new heights.
Probably means complete in multiple Indian languages, I know it means complete in Kannada firsthand, it is also the name of a goddess who once went on a violent rampage, so yeah.
I was fighting Tanya the other day and had powered up Geb through the usual means so that she was effectively able to solo her with a massive power boost from Mountain of Corpses and Shell. One turn later she straight up hijacked the BGM from the werewolf and started blasting this shit. I almost felt bad for Tanya since by that point she didn't stand a chance.

Gawd, this was a fight. Honestly not just a showcase of Kali's power, but Binah's as well. For me the fight was about two thirds Binah near-singlehandedly ripping enormous chunks out of Kali's health and then one third desperately scrambling to get in as much damage as possible on the first turn of the other two floors to take her down before she went EGO again on the second turn and destroyed everyone.

Bruh this girlboss straight up wrecked two claws, a shitload of abnormalities, then went EQUAL with an arbiter after being exhausted. And in her meltdown in Lobotomy Corporation she can easily wreck your shit with several employees armed with powerful EGO, THEN in LoR you fight her in her prime and honestly I don't think she lives up to the hype there from her lore but she can still dump your team with her high rolls and mass attack. Then her page you get, supposedly far weaker than her prime. Is literally the best keypage in the game, no cap. The Red Mist is insane.
I mean, by the time you fight her, all your librarians are some of the strongest people in the city, so the fact that she's able to take on 15 of them is pretty insane. Almost no one else matches that level

I just want to share my experience with the Red Mist reception, so here it is: Here I am, having bought LOR just two weeks ago. I just recently made it to star of the city, and beat the blue -sicko- reverberation's reception for my first battle there. Afterwards I did some general invitations to get some nicer cards. Then after that, guess what I chose for my second SotC battle? That's right, the red fuckin' mist. I thought it was funny to try and see how close I could get to takin' her down. Well, after a failed attempt and taking some advice from a guide, here's how it went: I went in with Binah first, triggered Kali's ego, then got completely decimated (but not before Binah got a last hit in and brought Kali down to 200 hp) Then, I sent in Gebura's floor with her pierce boyos, and they got Kali down to 100 hp before perishing. Unfortunately, that was all I had in terms of full stop office pages and SoTC cards, save for one librarian (Sakuya, who I gave Allen's keypage). Now it was up to Roland and his ragtag team of assistant librarians. ...I got Kali down to around 45 hp before she manifested ego. "Welp, I'm screwed" I thought to myself, staring down at her "Great Split: Horizontal". After the dust settled though, Sakuya was the only one left not staggered. Half assing everything at this point, I slap Fervent Beats on Sakuya (who had 14 hp at this point), and used all my strongest combat pages, just to see how it'd go. As Kali tore through everyone with Onrush, Roland managed to tank it and end the killing spree, though he died shortly after. With Kali on her last legs at 36 hp, I see her approaching Sakuya with Spear... but Sakuya took zero damage, and even hits back with 24 damage! Turns out Fervent Beats buffed Sakuya to the point she took *zero* damage! With this, Sakuya landed one last attack and finished off the Red Mist. Needless to say, I celebrated with my friend next to me.

Not to be that guy but... I think the max possible for the fight would be 13 when first starting fighting the Red Mist. Many of the floors will not allow you to use the Patron Librarian as they have some connection with Kali (your enemy). Except for Gebura, Roland, and Binah. So those floors are all locked to a max of 4. - Geb’s Floor can still only hold a max of 4 librarians since the abno battle needed to unlock the 5th member slot is locked behind a “obtain the book of the Red Mist” mission - Binah’s Floor has a similar issue with the abno battle unlocking the 5th member slot *also* being locked behind an “obtain the book of the red mist” barrier. - Roland’s Floor has no such issue since its missions are based on unlocking floors and reaching certain library ranks. So his floor can have up to 5 members.

Fully Realized Bleed/Hod floor is recommended) Then finally, Binah's floor. Let her kill Red Mist Kali with the "Fairy" debuff. Chad Roland Floor must reduce her health to at least 350 or below. Then Bleed will make it 200+ or if you're lucky, 150+. The Binah and crew just finished her off.

I was fighting Tanya the other day and had powered up Geb through the usual means so that she was effectively able to solo her with a massive power boost from Mountain of Corpses and Shell.

Well, Gebura has canonically fought Nothing There before and its EGO is called Mimicry, so that checks out.

Gawd, this was a fight. Honestly not just a showcase of Kali's power, but Binah's as well. For me the fight was about two thirds Binah near-singlehandedly ripping enormous chunks out of Kali's health and then one third desperately scrambling to get in as much damage as possible on the first turn of the other two floors to take her down before she went EGO again on the second turn and destroyed everyone.

Bruh this girlboss straight up wrecked two claws, a shitload of abnormalities, then went EQUAL with an arbiter after being exhausted. And in her meltdown in Lobotomy Corporation she can easily wreck your shit with several employees armed with powerful EGO, THEN in LoR you fight her in her prime and honestly I don't think she lives up to the hype there from her lore but she can still dump your team with her high rolls and mass attack. Then her page you get, supposedly far weaker than her prime. Is literally the best keypage in the game, no cap. The Red Mist is insane.

I just want to share my experience with the Red Mist reception, so here it is:
Here I am, having bought LOR just two weeks ago. I just recently made it to star of the city, and beat the blue -sicko- reverberation's reception for my first battle there. Afterwards I did some general invitations to get some nicer cards. Then after that, guess what I chose for my second SotC battle?
That's right, the red fuckin' mist. I thought it was funny to try and see how close I could get to takin' her down. Well, after a failed attempt and taking some advice from a guide, here's how it went:
I went in with Binah first, triggered Kali's ego, then got completely decimated (but not before Binah got a last hit in and brought Kali down to 200 hp)
Then, I sent in Gebura's floor with her pierce boyos, and they got Kali down to 100 hp before perishing.
Unfortunately, that was all I had in terms of full stop office pages and SoTC cards, save for one librarian (Sakuya, who I gave Allen's keypage). Now it was up to Roland and his ragtag team of assistant librarians.
...I got Kali down to around 45 hp before she manifested ego. "Welp, I'm screwed" I thought to myself, staring down at her "Great Split: Horizontal". After the dust settled though, Sakuya was the only one left not staggered.
Half assing everything at this point, I slap Fervent Beats on Sakuya (who had 14 hp at this point), and used all my strongest combat pages, just to see how it'd go. As Kali tore through everyone with Onrush, Roland managed to tank it and end the killing spree, though he died shortly after.
With Kali on her last legs at 36 hp, I see her approaching Sakuya with Spear... but Sakuya took zero damage, and even hits back with 24 damage! Turns out Fervent Beats buffed Sakuya to the point she took *zero* damage! With this, Sakuya landed one last attack and finished off the Red Mist. Needless to say, I celebrated with my friend next to me.
Do you think she just stopped time and dodged?

Not to be that guy but...
I think the max possible for the fight would be 13 when first starting fighting the Red Mist.
Many of the floors will not allow you to use the Patron Librarian as they have some connection with Kali (your enemy). Except for Gebura, Roland, and Binah. So those floors are all locked to a max of 4.
- Geb’s Floor can still only hold a max of 4 librarians since the abno battle needed to unlock the 5th member slot is locked behind a “obtain the book of the Red Mist” mission
- Binah’s Floor has a similar issue with the abno battle unlocking the 5th member slot *also* being locked behind an “obtain the book of the red mist” barrier.
- Roland’s Floor has no such issue since its missions are based on unlocking floors and reaching certain library ranks. So his floor can have up to 5 members.

Guide for new players:
First use Chad Roland (Research on Strength + Pinocchio Abno pages) build and Keter floor. Then Bleed Floor (Since EGO Red Mist Mode/Kali with a level 3-4 emotion gets more speed dices and attacks. And will bleed because of exactly that. Fully Realized Bleed/Hod floor is recommended) Then finally, Binah's floor. Let her kill Red Mist Kali with the "Fairy" debuff. Chad Roland Floor must reduce her health to at least 350 or below. Then Bleed will make it 200+ or if you're lucky, 150+. The Binah and crew just finished her off.

칼리와 조율자가 싸울때 수많은 싸움으로 어느정도 약화된 게부라와 싸웠다곤 하지만 조율자는 거의 피해조차 받지 않고 이긴듯한 묘사를 보면 둘다 ㅈㄴ 쌤
