As usual excellent video. At 1:54, how pressure at the upstream and downstream of the diaphragm can be same. Because diaphragm downside area (under area) is less so force should be less. And upside(top area) is more. So how low force (down side/ under side) of diaphragm can overcome the large force (top side) of diaphragm?
    Thanks.

The area on the top and bottom of the diaphragm is the same so the force created is equal. The booster spring aids in the opening of the regulator, while the upstream pressure pushes open the valve seat.
