I have been to the NT many times and into Arnhemland first time in 1972 when permits were required and limited to business - I worked for the mining industry. I am now 78 and really respect your attitude to crocs and safety. Going to do my last lap of Oz next year. NT my favourite place.
Flew into an old airstrip near Nourlangie Rock, furst time used since WW2, driven to what became Ranger Uraniums mine, then across to Nabarlek in Arnhem Land then up to the Murgenella Peninsula in Haflingers. Back to Oenpelli to be flown out by C310 back to Darwin. Came back to Canberra to report that the uranium coys had a big environmental problem. It was pre Kakadu. Know it like the back of my hand. Been to Kakadu about 6 times. One more in me.
We drove from Mainora to Nhulunbuy in 7.5 hours towing a 2.2 ton Quantum. The road was good bad horrendous and dusty in 2019. Enjoy your stay at Arnhem Land. We loved it.
@@SarahandKeelanTravels Make sure you drive all the beaches once you get the permits and also the waterholes at sports camp and others. Look out for snapping handbags.
Hi guys loving your vids, I lived in Gove with my parents when I was 9,10,and eleven. Best childhood living up there heard it's changed a lot since I was there in the 90s
Hi guys. Love your videos the best on RUclips, Keelans sayings are so funny and the educational bits are extremely interesting. Beautiful part of Australia.
HERE WE GO PEOPLE !!!! Pumped for the best RUclips Aussie travel adventure series since Malcolm Douglas and alby mangles lol LETS GO TO ARNHEM LAND!!!!!
Awesome Ep Guys and lovely Fish, I went to heaps of spots Daliwuy Bay and Cape Arnhem and Bawaka homelands were mind blowing, Fishing is next level if you get calm weather.
Flew into Nhulunbuy in 2003 and drove to Gapiwiak, brother was working there. Then drove his 80 series to Katherine and then Melbourne. The road was heaps worse then. Amazing trip and amazing country 😊
Recently subscribed to your channel, and I LOVE IT!! I did Brisbane to Bamaga in July on the PDR, that was enough for me, my forearms and biceps were massive heading back to Coen, I had to pull over a couple of times to regather myself. So, I can only imagine the roads you're on! Definitely getting itchy feet to hit the road though... Stay safe and look forward to watching more of SKT 😁
Hi guys great content as usual. With the leaking head light squirters there is a one way valve on each side. Just behind the bullbar pull them out and give them a clean as there might be a little of grit in one of them. Keep up the good work.
Just watched your video on how the tech guys lie to you about your batteries, solar ect. Glad I’ve found you as your the 1 st to really break it all down for me to understand. Thank you so much!!
Take 2....I worked up there for just over 2 years and our yard, next to the big oil tanks faced the bay and in the morning when the water was flat calm we would drive down the the back gate on our forks and watch tuna working the shallows, sea eagles flying over with their catch and the locals fishing successfully with their spears. Nhulunbuy although classed as remote has a great shopping center as well as a variety of places you can eat out. The golf club never disappointed 😎
Good Morning 😊 Here we Go AGAIN 👏🏼👏🏼 Awesome Episode👌🏽 Be safe on the roads , i have been with you guys from the start ❤ First episode i watched was the sand boarding 👏🏼👏🏼 Greetings and Cheers 🍻 From South Africa 🇿🇦
