Canadian Wildlife

While on a western Canada road trip between 30 July and 8 August 2012 we spotted an abundance of wildlife, some of which we were able to film (rather shakily at times). Grizzly bear, black bear, big horn sheep, elk and assorted deer were all less camera shy than the fox we encountered. Even if we hadn't seen any wildlife at all, the spectacular scenery would have been worth the trip on its own. Our route: Calgary, Rocky Mountain House, Jasper, Banff, Calgary, Nanton, Fort McLeod, Frank Slide, Fernie, Fort Steele, Kimberley, Invermere, Banff, Cochrane, Calgary.
