So I'm not sure I get it (I'm just getting into star wars) so after this movie the empire rules everything? Is there a movement or group going against the empire?

are hiding and there comes the episode 4 which was released as the 1st star wars movie.
Also the remaining jedis are hiding cause of the Order 66 ,

This was the first one I watched and it was very memorable
This is one of the most meaningful star wars movie, connecting everything and explaining why did Anakin chose the Dark Side. Moreover, Anakin and Padme's story is so heartbreaking.

I clearly let the stigma of these movies get to me...I should watch them for myself and decide, seem they have a lot of interesting aspects I should watch myself. Poor Padme :(

You know interestingly enough in most religions baptism is a symbolism of a good rebirth but anakins was reborn through fire symbolizing his full turn to the dark side.
I just feel sorry for this film, as it's bulked in a trilogy with 2 other awful films, underrated

I have a few questions
1) why did Palpatine order Anakin to kill the speratists?
2) why did Palpatine ask Anakin to kill Dooku, I thought Dooku was on their side?
From what I know,
1) to stop the civil war and palatine could have complete control of the galaxy
2) the sith only operate in pairs, probably more reasons than that
Also for 2 it’s to make anakin act unacordingly to the Jedi code and force him to kill with the hatred in him to turn him over to the dark side
There can only be 2 sith.
Palps obviously wanted to have the stronger and younger sith as his apprentice so he made him kill dooku. Also, by making Anakin kill the seperatists he convinced the senate and Anakin that he's a good dude and Jedis are evil and jedis are selfish.

Anakin gets Dumb by joining Darkside, he joined to learn to save Padme from dying, instead he choked her causing her trachea to be narrowed be the cause of her death. You wouldn't simply die by giving birth, unless you have serious health problems, which Padme had narrowed trachea.
she had no health problems, as stated. she lost her will to live after losing Anakin to the dark side.
Death due to deep mourning is pretty common. You're overthinking things.
He didn't go dumb, his logic was overshadowed by his anger and betrayal which made him stronger as a sith but made him devoid of human emotions of empathy and love.

Why did Palpatien start a war in the first place
For a lot of reasons, to give an example he gained lots of powers during the war, by ordering the trade federation to attack Naboo on the first movie he became the new chancellor because the senate lost their trust on Chancellor Valorum. In the second movie they gave him emergency powers so the republic can act quickly against the separatists and in episode three it is mentioned that his term has ended but because of the war he did not gave up his powers and he continued his service without a new election. The reason jedi plotted against Palpatine wasn't because they suspected him to be sith lord, it was because they feared that he would still not give up his powers even after the war had ended.
I’m sorry but I loved(animated) Clone Wars Anakin so much better. This one was just so unlikeable. I felt empathy for Clone Wars Anakin.

Well the entire video is 3:34 so it's closer to 4 than 3. That's why I went with 4.
