I’m so happy whistle is actually showing prospects now
I am glad they are doing that rather the 10 year olds
@@msnoonoo exactly
@@msnoonoo *rich 10 year-olds
same
lol but i liked seeing the comments for them
This is the first time I actually Like the kid and their attitude. Like he said he’s not just another good baseball player. This kid is special. I like it
Live in the same area as him... don’t know him personally but lots of guys say he’s pretty down to earth
Finally an actual good prospect that isn’t a rich twelve year old
Edit : stop with the fr’s that’s all I see in my notification inbox lol

This is the best pitcher I have ever seen under 18 Edit: Nvm not even the best in NJ. Seen som film and Solometo is better Idc about the draft
He turns 18 in a few days
I would say the best pitcher I’ve seen under 20 or 21
@@soccernurd1281 no
Check out nazier mule
Nazier Mule is a close second. I’ve seen that video
I feel bad for that catcher😂😂
At that age it’s pretty simple for them to catch it but blocking though
Imagine in the middle of the glove
@Jimothan21 it would only hurt if it hit him in the palm I am a catcher and if you catch it in the pocket your fine
Fr Im starting to catch 85 and it’s easy to catch but right now I can’t block it
not for the speed but for that he’s getting looked at and he’s just catching him
Chase Petty is the ultimate gamer. I had the privilege of coaching him for a few years when he was 13-15 yrs old. He made every team he was on an instant contender to win every game and tournament. Lead off hitter with great base running ability. Absolute beast on the mound. Putting that work in and perfecting his game.
How fast he throw at 13
@@jacksonconnors7280 we never had him on a gun, but easy low 80's. I remember as a 12 yr old, we were playing against him in a travel playoff game 50/70 field and he hit my son with a fastball in the back and it definitely left a mark, he had to be at least high 70's as a 12, maybe higher. Ridiculous arm.
What the duck you coached him and played him at the same time
Is he committed anywhere?
@@jamesgreen9791 yes, University of Florida, but probably gets drafted in the 1st round.
If this kid stays healthy he will be a first round draft pick easily
He is supposed to be a first round draft pick this year
...and throwing like that at his age odds are he won’t
@@bencovington1121 if he takes good care of his arm like it appears he is he will be fine
@@bencovington1121 I partially tore the ligaments in my elbow at 15 throwing 85-86. Decided against tommy John surgery and waited 18 months to pitch again. I was lifting with my high school team during the fall, but at the same time was throwing BP to my fall ball team, 100-200 pitches a night, without my coach knowing. This guy seems like he's with the right people
Well well you were saying?
this kid is a prime example of giving someone with natural talent the right tools/people to help him succeed! Kids a stud!
Whistle finally starting to show some real prospects
He built different
Ya lol built a new facility
For real doe
One the top of his head it says made from China
@@oppotaco7146 well things in China arent made good 😂
just got drafted 26th overall. i knew i recognized the name
“He’s still kinda small for his speed”
Meanwhile he’s 6’3 220
6’3 throwing around 100 is kinda insane lmao
I think the shortest major leaguer that throws 100 is around 6'5"

Oh yeah go cubs
Dodgers will somehow get him 😂
@@bt12638 they'll find a way to buy him🤣
@@bt12638 for sure😂
And blow out his elbow like prior and wood did
"Everyone has their own ability, and whatever that is make something out of it" Amen dude 👏👏
Mark my words, Chase is going to be throwing like 108 when he makes the majors.
🤯
He could for sure.he needs to learn how to baby that arm off the field ya ,I was a semi pro skater at 14yrs old I could press 400 pounds on my legs at my full limit.
I wonder how many subscribers I can get from this comment?🤔
Current: 4080
If he doesn’t blow his arm out before then
He won’t throw THAT hard lol. Maybe up to 105. I dont think people realize how many young guys throw really really hard at a young age. At one of my tournaments, they had a Trackman that would calculate velo from pitchers and at the one specific tournament I was at, there were 92 different pitchers that were 15-16u that clocked over 90 and 15 that hit 98+
Hard work goes a long way, but being blessed with natural ability is always plus. Hope this kid makes it to the big show he’s by far the best under 18 year old I’ve ever seen.
Whistle, you inspired me to play baseball and now my coach says I am the best in the league! Thank you so much Whistle!

I love the baseball player videos of how they train and what they work on. Keep doing these vids!
He goes to my moms high school she works at I met him today and got 2 balls signed and 2 shirts to! He’s super nice he also went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles
This guy deserves to to be on whistle
Boy reminds me a lot of Jose Fernandez (R.I.P). That delivery, release point and the energy he brings. Kid is going to be lights out when he gets older. Can’t wait to see what he does 💯
I hope he makes it, great attitude. Love that preventative maintenance aspect to working out they’re developing. Next level training.
One of the few people who actually deserve a video
Maybe not the catcher but definitely chase, blaze,Nazier, and Jordan
keep the grades up and ur 1st round

You should do this kid named Ronin McCraw he is the hardest worker I know plus he is an amazing friend and ball player.
You should do a no days off on Ryan Kroepel, he is in high school a sophomore, he made varsity baseball as a freshman and played 3 games as a freshman and then committing to ASU, if have heard of him
Will check him out!
@@whistlesports thank you so much, just search him up on google, you will find him on perfect game

I can see this guy going VERY far, he's gifted but has a good work ethic, along w/the confidence required to perform on the big stage.
I kinda see a Bauer like rotation. He’ll be as good as Bauer was in 2020 some day
Dang his arm is good
This kid is from my home town, somers point NJ..I'm proud of you brother. Little ol SP has something to be proud of
Seems like a solid kid with the right mix of confidence and humility. I will definitely be routing for him.
he just has a better glove than everybody else.
what does that have to do with him throwing faster..

Wtf what’s not poppin
Strong work! Hope to see you playing soon
Envidia de la buena que siga trabajando y que dios lo mantenga en salud 🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥
If he pitches every single day his arm won’t even make it to college.
He doesn’t pitch every single day. Throwing every day is fine as long as you’re keeping your body strong and in shape
On the contrary. You throw every day you build up resistance.
@@beyonddeluxe4771 yeah but your body will never be used to throwing 100+ every single day
@@cpsclan2447 who says it’s 100 every day? He sits mid 90s and tops 100. If he even throws like 20-40 low intensity pitches a day (80-90) he’s gonna build up resistance. If his mechanics stay sound then he could very easily throw every day
Tell that to the Bob Gibsons and Nolan Ryan’s of old. It felt like these guys threw 8 plus innings 100+ pitches every game they pitched and would always talk about how they threw every day to help prepare them for that.
"Literally 99% of people ignore this message: God save you and your family from this disease."

Now this, this is a stud future Top 3 Closing Pitcher in the MLB tbh I don’t think he’ll be able to start because of how hard he throws he’ll be amazing keep grinding.
his dad umpired me a few times in a pg tournament. easily coolest ump i’ve ever had as a catcher
We now have someone that is a beast chase keep striking out people great job
I give props to the catcher !!!
Love that 3/4 arm angle.
He's built like a machine how's his aim is so good and his throws are 🤯
Watched this when it was posted and now see that he gets drafted to my favorite team
this kid crazy 💯💯💯
Whistle is finally stepping up their game.
Amazing young man!!!!!!
This kid got hella drip and its actually insane at 17
Chase is a unit.
wish him the best! HS guys like Brien Taylor and Todd Van Poppel lit up radar guns like this...that is great but more important is arm care and commanding other pitches and this guy is doing that!
AYEEEEE HE'S IN THE DRAFT RN LETS GOOO
Wish the rangers got him but he went to the twins
petty is one of the more talented guys in the game RN. HES LEGIT.
Well spoken and an animal. Will definitely be seeing him in the show soon.

Congratulations for that young man and may God continue to bless always
Now he's with my Minnesota Twins organization 🙌
The catchers hand 🔥
This is so insane 🤯
I wish I had this training and coaching in Australia during the 90's and 2000's. Instead of being injured by 16 and near retirement
This is one of the most determined player I have ever seen. I play baseball as well, and this is one of my people I look up to. I really would love to see this cool man I heavan. Besides the lord, "
what does this have to do with that
This guy is a stud
Great practice for the catcher
Kid is a BOSSSS, that smiley face tattoo on his leg though lol! When this dude is famous, thats all I am going to think about lmao!
This guy is lengthy and really flexible. He is so far off the mound when he releases the ball... he is like a whip. Great mechanics. No wonder he is throwing 100mph.
I was throwing low 90s, topped at 94-95 at 16. Playing high school, travel VFW ball, and for my 16 year old team at the same time. my arm was dead by my senior year in high school and never the same. Played in some adult leagues in my late 20s and if I cranked it up to the max my hand would go numb. Always dreamed of playing in the bigs, but I didn’t have the coaches or facilities like this kid does. Hope he goes far!
Hope somebody drafts him this year. Very exciting prospect.
