I have the Ryobi pole saw and I'm going to get this hedge trimmer attachment for my high hedge. I also want a OHT1851R which is good for thr easy to reach stuff but if it's only being used occasionally, the pole saw version is more versatile.
Probably a great product, if you're willing to spend more on the extra parts to be able to use it. I sent mine back without even unsealing the box. Bought it off Amazon for £168, but I should have read the small print more closely because it doesn't come with the battery. Depending on the amp hours of the battery you buy, this will cost of further £100-£150. Then you will also have to buy a charger which can be anything from £70-£150. And all of this If you can work out which battery and charger you actually need. So please be aware to use this product is going to cost you over £300, my personal belief this product is slightly misleading, at the bottom of the box is the word battery, then a small picture next to it of a battery with a line through it they should make it a lot clearer that you can't use this product straight from the box.
I got 3 off brand batteries for the price of 1 Ryobi battery had no issues the last 3 years I've been using them with Ryobi tools, there's probably even a charger that would be cheaper so it is possible to kit yourself out without going overboard with the spending.

Can you buy a pole pruner attachment to interchange with the hedge trimmer or do you have to buy a completely seperate kit?
All the ezreach products work with the same pole
Is it that hard to put model name in title, or desceiption?
Hmmmmm will do next time ….. will try to remember your feedback bobeq89
