Tbh, this is exactly what I needed I rewatch this series from time to time, so this is perfect :) Now with this I also have another excuse to watch it again
@@TheGreatIcewind18 it takes about 28 minutes. He see's the dragon in dungeon 1? You've seen this, it's harder to number these, but he goes crazy there lol
I think having a number of these style of videos would be lovely to add to the channel. There are so many series I enjoy going back to (especially the randomizers), so having an easy way to rewatch them while also making it easy for showing it to new viewers is fantastic. I hope there are many more of these made! Thank you for the hard work!
My gosh, a 5 hour long video of Jared playing Zelda randomized!? Well, I know what I'm doing for the next 5 hours. 16:45 - Still the best part and continues to make me laugh till this day.
"Pay me for a door repair charge? You live in a TREE! Your door was OPEN! ...oh nooo..." It might be the beginning of the playthrough, but it's still that sinking realization Jared gets at what's in store for him.
This totally reminded me how bad USB controllers were for so long. Fast forward to 2023 and the controllers for your console can be used on your PC! Ahhhh good times!
Jared I love your content. Every time I watch one of your videos or streams I'm reminded that I really love retro gaming more than I love modern gaming. It makes me wish more games were like these old games and had good old fun with a solid difficulty curve and Player based progression. Great video as always.
Every-time I hear Jared say ~"I should have made a map," I hear a smoker saying "I should stop smoking" as he lights up another cigarette. Jared could start drawing a map at any point, and that map would be useful. Jared is smoking Lank.
I remember when he first did this run. Now I want to go play a randomized game again. It's been a while and there's likely to be some updates since then.
I just love ow every randomizer he seems to forget hes doing a randomizer almost right away. Getting surprised when something is diferent lol. Then at least 5 times during the play through he tries to go to where something normally is, only to remember yet again.. oh yeah.. randomized.
Thanks Jared. It has been a few years since I rewatched these. Always nice to see a compilation of "... It's just rupees... It's rupees again... It's JUST MORE RUPEES..."
3:05:43 Writing things down is one of the differences between 'doing science' and 'doing random crap'. If you get it right once, but you can never repeat it, of what benefit was it?
This is one of my favorite series from you man! :) If I recall correctly it came out during the pandemic when where shut in our houses. Thanks to you I didn't go insane, thanks man, cheers from Mexico
Man I was all excited for a NEW Zelda randomizer playthrough! This one IS hilarious, so I guess I'll watch it again for, like, the 8th time or something.
Hell yea one of my favorite series I'm glad you put it in a compilation. I usually go back and watch this.also I miss old jared videos I still love new jared and vlad but older jared video are awesome
First time watcher was browsing for Zelda Randomizers. Dude you rock! My ribs are killing me from laughing so hard watching you in the level 3 dungeon. Looking forward to the next 4 hours!
i found myself screaming at an old video every time you passed the tree just southeast of Level 1. And every time you tried to bomb the wall on the north side of the desert. LOL!
i also find myself wanting a list of the exact rando settings you used so I can see if I can beat your time. Great job though, very entertaining watch.
I'm gonna preface this comment with i think Vlad is doing a wonderful job, and i hope he sticks around for a long time. But watching this has really made me miss miss editor. I loved how it was basically like watching 2 people in the same video. And the things she came up with, while sometimes corny, was done so tastefully that you couldn't help but crack a smile at least. Hope she's doing alright
Oh I nearly forgot about this series. Welp, time to watch Jared slowly collapse into insanity again! Please do this with the Metroid-Zelda Randomizer series too!
don't judge me but I did not realize this is the old playthrough I watch when he first did it before the "but you life in a tree?" part XD not even the Zelda month made me suspicious :D still, watching again :)
surprised he didn't use the fire trick to save bombs. The candle reacts to bombable walls in dungeons if I remember right. It goes through the bombable spots.
I know it’s to late, but the whistle also can work in all the desserts and some of the trees. You also didn’t check the grave stone that used to have the magic sword.
I really enjoyed these 5 hours. Lots of fun. I've got 2 questions, though: 1. Where are the standard and the magical boomerangs? 2. Why didn't you go into the south room from Ganon in Level 9? Cheers!
@ProJared. For having a majority of the flags set to 50/50 random, you got a very tame seed. The Overworld/Dungeon enemies were not shuffled (It's fun having Wizrobes in the overworld /sarcasm). The enemy health was not set to +2/-2 or +4/-4, where the enemy health totals are randomized. Lots of neat things can happen. Personally, I like setting the flags up to make a "personal" experience. There are so many ways to alter the game. It's worth playing around with. "Swordless" is fun. Also, there are randomizer races that happen, where streamers use the same seed and race to see who can finish the game the fastest. I highly suggest revisiting this with different flags. If you need suggestions, feel free to PM me.
The randomizer races are pretty interesting IMO. They really test your knowledge of the game even just watching it and trying to think of where they go next. I remember seeing some FF1 races and it was pretty wild.
That's funny, I just got to the Zora Prince quest in BOTW and when I got to the Zora Domain I thought of that same thing. I figured it's because in the first 3 games they are under the influence of Ganon. Seems simple enough. (I know I'm late but it's such a different Zelda game i started 3 other times in the past 4 years and wasn't feeling it but it finally clicked and I got into it and I'm hooked now)
Tbh, this is exactly what I needed
I rewatch this series from time to time, so this is perfect :)
Now with this I also have another excuse to watch it again
Same lol this and lttp one are some of my favorites
Watch Jared slowly devolve into insanity in the next 5 hours
Watch him break about an hour in XD
@@TheGreatIcewind18 17 minutes
@@TheGreatIcewind18 it takes about 28 minutes. He see's the dragon in dungeon 1? You've seen this, it's harder to number these, but he goes crazy there lol
I want to like but it would break the 69 likes so I refuse to do so.
Devolve? Thought he had hit that years ago
I think to this date this has been my favourite longplay/randomizer series I frequently return to
This was put together really well! With attention to blending the episodes to make it seamless was a real nice touch! Thanks for the movie! 😁

Would love to see more of these randomizer compilations, nuzlocke too
This is great, I always watch Jared before sleep and this randomizers always relax me.
Luckily for me, I needed exactly 5 hours and 13 minutes of background noise! Thanks, Jerd!
Seeing Jared get the stepladder and being happy made my day thanks for the happy feels
This is wonderful because I often revisit the randomizer play-throughs, they're just so fun! Thank you for this one!
The OOT one made me tear out my hair
Me a few weeks ago: “Watching people play video games is the dumbest thing ever”; me, yesterday:
Nice compilation but at 2:55:06 the very top of the screen is cut off. You’ll notice after that you can’t see the level numbers.
This totally reminded me how bad USB controllers were for so long. Fast forward to 2023 and the controllers for your console can be used on your PC! Ahhhh good times!
Sat this series out for too long, thanks for gluing them all together for us!

16:44 "Meet the old man at the grave." You are the old man at the grave! 🤣🤣
Finally back on RUclips. Good to see you in action again projared
I am SagaterraTalSet

I hear a gambler say "just one more spin"
1 year old but smoking Lank had me laughing my ass off
I remember when he first did this run. Now I want to go play a randomized game again. It's been a while and there's likely to be some updates since then.
I do a yearly rewatch of this. It's actually about time for it. Lets do this.
The epic adventures of Lank and Jerd come to us all!!
Love it
This is gonna be a fun nostalgic ride. I have watched every single one of these multiple times and now i don't even have to switch videos NICE!
I just love ow every randomizer he seems to forget hes doing a randomizer almost right away. Getting surprised when something is diferent lol. Then at least 5 times during the play through he tries to go to where something normally is, only to remember yet again.. oh yeah.. randomized.
Both you and your editor are amazing xD Nice job guys 🙂
I love how all the pay me for the damage were already open doors
Thanks Jared. It has been a few years since I rewatched these. Always nice to see a compilation of "... It's just rupees... It's rupees again... It's JUST MORE RUPEES..."
God help us if the randomizers ever figure out how to randomize which walls can be bombed and which bushes can be burned.
That would be a speedrun category on it's own, if ever figured out.
I didn't realize how much i miss Miss editor, hope she is doing great!
Wow! I didn't realize how long I've been following your content! I'm so proud of how you've glowed up!! Keep it going Jerd!!!❤
I remember watching this occasionally, now it's even better to watch it all at once with Ms editors old comments too
Every time Jared runs into an enemy: "Dammit Jared, I know you wish you were but you're not playing Hydlide!"
I will always remember his face when he found Gleeock 🤣
My man Jerd really knows how to get me to watch a series over and over.
3:05:43 Writing things down is one of the differences between 'doing science' and 'doing random crap'. If you get it right once, but you can never repeat it, of what benefit was it?
This is perfect. I love just having a super long Projared movie
Watched this playthrough with my Son the day after he was born. Greatest day of my life. Got him started on Zelda as early as I could.
I'm hella down for compilations of all the Zelda randos!
This is one of my favorite series from you man! :) If I recall correctly it came out during the pandemic when where shut in our houses. Thanks to you I didn't go insane, thanks man, cheers from Mexico
Nah it was from like 2017, still fun tho!
Man I was all excited for a NEW Zelda randomizer playthrough!
This one IS hilarious, so I guess I'll watch it again for, like, the 8th time or something.
You added a step to the Lost Woods. It's just up, left, down, left.
@2:49:00 I could swear I heard a cat meowing. Maybe they saw the bun buns and wanted to play with them?....
This is gold!!!
Def love me some Zelda randomizer, and Jared's awesome to watch so win-win!!
Hell yea one of my favorite series I'm glad you put it in a compilation. I usually go back and watch this.also I miss old jared videos I still love new jared and vlad but older jared video are awesome

1 hour 32 minutes, Lank becomes the master of unlocking!
ohhh nice, time to rewatch this again in one go.
I will never tire of Jareds surprised Pikachu face whenever he realises the randomised game is randomised.
Jared finds dungeon 8 first & gets locked in a room with high level enemies, that's a very "this is dark souls bitch!" moment
It's so funny to see Jared so young and full of hope! Still unaware of all the pain, suffering and 10 arrows that await :p
He did this after a link to the past
When I got this game I thought the snail rocks were petrified “turtle-ducks” from Mario. That’s what i knew the koopa troopas as.
The "A" in LANK stands for Arson
OMG! 6 mins in and OMG!!😱
I am locked in now, Godspeed Jared and good luck!
5 hours, 13 minutes, 18 seconds of watching a man slowly losing his mind.
I can't wait.
I been watching you for 5 years and can't believe you're not at 1million subs yet. you are one of the best. love all your stuff!
i found myself screaming at an old video every time you passed the tree just southeast of Level 1. And every time you tried to bomb the wall on the north side of the desert. LOL!

Oh, my god, it's baby Jared! God, was that really almost seven years ago?
nice one, and just in time for TotK
Love this playthru!
Meet the old Man at the grave........."YOU ARE THE OLD MAN AT THE GRAVE" poor Pro Jared, we love you
My favourite part of this is in the first 17 minutes "meet the old man at the grave......you ARE the old man at the grave..." it gets me every time!
Darknuts are the sole reason this game sits at dead last on the tier list of Zelda games
Now, this is a throwback! good ol' times of pure insanity
I saw this video posted while I was at work, and I knew exactly what I was watching tonight!!!!
"That's not the First Dungeon..." is the greatest ProJerd moment ever. The dawning realization is so wonderful to behold.
@28:04 still kills me every time. 🤣🤣🤣
I needed this in my life
@ProJared Plays!
You're timing was perfect I had just checked to see how much longer you were going to be in Level 3.
Oh I nearly forgot about this series. Welp, time to watch Jared slowly collapse into insanity again!
Please do this with the Metroid-Zelda Randomizer series too!
there is a sstrange word on screen at 3:23:33 what the heck is that 3rd written word?
Rewatching this all while playing TOTK feels absolutely perfect. Thank you
I'm not skipping I'm Suffering with you on lol 3
How did we learn how to beat games back before the internet existed?
Why, the tried and true method of fucking around and finding out, of course!
Even though thats not how that saying is used, its remarkably accurate for how we did it! :D
Nice, now I don't have to loop the playlist
don't judge me but I did not realize this is the old playthrough I watch when he first did it before the "but you life in a tree?" part XD not even the Zelda month made me suspicious :D
still, watching again :)
Ever notice how the falling rocks look like Gorons curled up rolling down the mountainside?
Something I wanted, but never thought I'd get.
It's too dangerous to go alone. Take 10 Arrows!
Good memories.
Now you know better.
Time to put this on every time I'm ready to go to sleep for the next several weeks!
It's my sleepover, and I get to choose the movie
surprised he didn't use the fire trick to save bombs. The candle reacts to bombable walls in dungeons if I remember right. It goes through the bombable spots.
Didn't know that. Thanks.
Yes complete series are the way. Time to throw it with the avgn seasons.
5:00:37 Those are called "Chute" rooms and when you walk in you're suppose to exclaim... "Ahhhh Shoot!". You were really close........................
This is some classic jared
I was just watching this last night, still can't give enough of this lp
I know it’s to late, but the whistle also can work in all the desserts and some of the trees. You also didn’t check the grave stone that used to have the magic sword.
I really enjoyed these 5 hours. Lots of fun. I've got 2 questions, though:
1. Where are the standard and the magical boomerangs?
2. Why didn't you go into the south room from Ganon in Level 9?
Cheers!
Well! I know what I'm watching while I wait for my copy of Tears of the Kingdom to arrive! Thanks Jared!
5:53.... ah yes I forgot how quickly he goes insane

If you "need money" the richest enemies are ghosts, tektites (esp. blue), and red leevers.
"Watch this, guys. You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half."
1:05:38
Anddddd…..now
considering I watch this basically every year, this is a nice touch
PROJARED THE DOUBLE FEATURE
That's funny, I just got to the Zora Prince quest in BOTW and when I got to the Zora Domain I thought of that same thing. Summary of the entire video: Help me Step-Ladder, I'm stuck.
Need another Zelda 2 randomizer...I hate to admit I loved the insanity last time...
