Nice boat ok, but I would recommend an Italian interior designer! 😆 The materials and color combinations (horrible that gray of the cabins as if inside a cargo ship) that do not seem adequate to the level (even in price) of the boat!
Lots to love on this yacht for sure. But as gorgeous as the galley is (I too would like it at home), just imagine cooking a full dinner there with just that minuscule vent in the counter top... probably need to supply salon guests with complimentary Gas masks. And the trap hatch next to the freezer into the tech area disguised as a kitchen cabinet door boggles the mind. Why? Everyone will do what you did 😂 The engine room however! Holy cow so nicely packed and finished. Marvelous.
Looks amazing. I would definitely want a lower helm station though. Also a railing by the Lower stairway. I could just see someone falling down them. There boats seem very robust and the modern trawler style is my favorite. The Sirena 68 and 78 are my favorite boats I've seen in the past couple years. You did another great walkthrough! Thanks very much
I agree on the lower helm and definitely agree on the railing. Sirena yachts are incredibly well built vessels. All are built to European safety category A, which is the highest rating possible. It is a very expensive, rigorous process and if everything doesn’t pass the checking process, the vessels wouldn’t qualify for the A category. I get the privilege of captaining many different brands and styles of vessels and to me, Sirena is easily my favorite. Thank you very much for watching and for the great feedback! I appreciate it! Cheers!
Brian, will you be at the Fort Lauderdale boat show this week? I am in town all week and will be at the Sirena booth. I’d love to chat and walk you through the vessels.
I do agree that Numarine is making some incredible vessels. Their Superyacht line is bringing out some really impressive stuff. Did you see that Sirena just announced the rollout of their new Superyacht division? Three new models just announced this week! Super exciting, hopefully we will see the first at the next Cannes show. I haven’t gotten to spend much time on Bering vessels. Definitely unique concepts as the explorer yacht is growing in popularity. You can tell you do your research and know the models. That’s awesome! I appreciate you following along with the channel. Thank you for subscribing! Cheers!
Very nice Yacht but there should be railings on all steps. Can you imagine trying to walk down from the helm in a heavy seaway without railings or handholds on that spiral staircase? Also the eating/galley looks way too close together. I do not want to eat right next to the stove/range. But the interior is customizable.
The railings were the big one that caught me. Not sure if that’s a specific design miss or if the owner who built this boat requested it that way. As you mentioned, there are a few configurations that you can choose from for the galley layout. I get what you’re saying with the proximity to cook top area but it does actually feel pretty nice and flows well. Guess it would all depend on the type and style of cooking you would be doing. Thank you for watching and for the quality feedback as always 🙌🏼
Beautiful yacht. But there are a few things that I find odd. There are no windshield wipers. What if it is raining hard and your are out at sea? Where is the space to put in a washer/dryer machine? The Engine Room looks sparse and small. Where are the inverters and batteries, the watermaker machine and the aircon machines?
Good catch on the wipers, those are definitely being added on this one and for future models. After doing the video and walking off it did strike me that oh crap I must have missed the laundry area. It’s got to be on there somewhere but that’s one spot I must have missed unless for some reason the owner who built this model chose not to put one in, which would be a miss but for an owner building one, to each their own. The engine rooms on Sirena yachts are very large and very well laid out. The metal flooring is removable, so you can pop up sections to access sea strainers and items like that. This helps keep it clean and minimal looking. AC machines and water maker would be along the back corners to port or starboard. This keeps the noise from a chiller unit further away from the master cabin and rest of the staterooms. Great attention to detail in watching this video. Thank you for watching and commenting! Cheers!
Great review. Video needs work. Way too much camera movement. I was beginning to feel sea sick watching. Aquaholic is very careful with the pacing of walking through and his camera movements. It really makes a difference. I like the details and that you bring your unique point of view. You mentioned the great lakes. Air draft is a measurement that I think is useful but is often not given. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more of these videos. Thanks.
Thank you very much for your great feedback. This is helpful. I’m still figuring all this out and working to improve the channel and quality of content. I didn’t mention air draft on this one because as is, it would be way too tall to worry about traversing through the Erie Canal. She would have to go through the St. Lawrence seaway. As you mentioned, air draft is a big deal for us up in these parts and as a captain I am even more aware of the requirements. Great catch on noticing not many factories provide that measurement. I end up finding myself crawling onto the hardtop of our boats to use a plumbline to get exact measurements. Thank you for watching and for your great insights. I appreciate it! Cheers
Great question! I would start by asking other brands why they are so much more expensive for far lesser quality yachts. I find it incredibly difficult to find better bang for your buck with size, quality and performance in Sirena over any other vessel. Sirena makes all their own woodwork and stainless steel in house which helps keep quality up and pricing down and I’m sure the cost of labor in Turkey helps too. Thank you very much for watching and for your great question! Cheers!
@@ElevateYacht thank you for the response! I’ve been looking at Nordhavn, mainly because their HQ is not far from my home, but their 68 is $5m. I feel that it’s too small to live in for extended periods. The Sirena 78 provides the right amount of separation where my family won’t drive me nuts.
Unbelievable! What a boat. Just wow!

I would perfect the quality and color combinations of the interiors and furnishings that do not seem to be at the level of the boat...
Hello Capt. Dan! Love Sirena! I mean it's not a Bering or Numarine, but still another solid beautiful Turkish yacht.

For this type of yacht, gotta be a Bering!
Great Dan, always quality from you. Ps, if I wanted to see hands I would watch aquaholic

If they can convert it to soar and generator, that would be great.
So beatiful yatch.İs that Türkish made?

Did you say there was an 88 as well?
Yes sir their current lineup is 58, 68, 78 and 88. Thank you for watching and for the great question!
How much?

Dude, you can talk a show the boat without looking at the camera. So annoying!
Reply nervous camera makes me dizzy and can’t watch any longer!
Only watched 1.5mins & I can tell ya.. "this video sucks"
Blocking this channel 💯
🤣 well I appreciate your feedback. Sorry to see you go
Why is Sirena so cheap in comparison to other yachts of the same size?

There is volume control to correct that
