The out-of-focus and shaky visuals seemed to enhance that instead of detracting from it. It's that good. Also, to think about how she brainstormed various choreographies and practiced for the show, she feels incredibly dear to me. I miss her so much.

Absolutely beautiful. My god I’ve never missed someone this much without having ever known them but she was my world my inspiration for years since before the album since Product. And it’s been two years and it’s all hitting me all at once the Greif the disbelief the regret. There will never be anyone like Sophie again at this moment in time and it makes me break down in tears and sobs to know and understand that she’s gone. Had she stayed anonymous would it have the same impact? I don’t know. But this video for me is like catharsis in a way to see something that she did in fact fully realize in front of an audience. A full story. A total performance. Raw and real and honest. I miss her so much and we will never have her back but I home she’s out there somehow somewhere immaterial and all encompassing enjoying the world as she saw it. As she felt it. Because it’s hard being down here and stuck thinking of everything she could have been. I swear. I swear I’ll never forget her and everything she did for us while she was here.

Somehow Sophie reached through time and space to rip my heart out, fixed it, and put me back together with everything she's touched. I've felt pretty lost in the years since, once we lost Sophie. It ripped apart my world when Sophie passed. Although strangely, grieving and sharing our love for Sophie, her music, and every little thing she left behind... including her metamorphosis, her courage, and her legacy all help me grieve my friend too. She was my DJ partner for years and we started an all girls DJ night to help share our knowledge and gear 20 years ago. Called it Murder On The Dancefloor aka MOTD and we were the CSC aka Crime Scene Collective. Because we'd be serving and slaying when we took over the dancefloor. Oh how the world was a different place in 2004. Think influencers before it was a thing. DJs, musicians, computer programming, design, photography, and the start of online networks... It was fun and I miss her. Sophie thank you for helping me remember why I love performance art, sampling, night clubs, and letting me grieve both you and her. I love you Sophie.

Hey by any chance, was there a poetry performance before Sophie begun (or by Sophie herself) that was about having a parasite? I remember a 2018 Sophie full concert video with a piece like that that got deleted and I've never been able to find it and no one remembers it existing and this one has all the characteristics I was looking for (the wnw plastic blob was white and not black, and faceshopping money remix was played in the middle)
Sophie is who I dreamed of becoming... I grew up thinking RuPaul was perfection and idolizing her look and style. Sophie is perfection too. My body's like Cecil and the dancers (but with itty bitty's) but I wanted Sophie's tall lean body type, so I hated myself and beat me up ignoring people's comments. I think Sophie could relate. I'm not transgender, straight and born female, but think Sophie's statuette figure and beautiful face, and feminine aura, attributes, and soul, is all woman. More woman than most, and more sensual than many, she had it all. She was so special the universe called her home early, too perfect and ethereal for Earth, she's now part of and in everything. Her music lives on in the ether forever spreading her brilliance throughout the cosmos and beyond, rippling out into all existence.
Some of SOPHIE sounds reminds me of UK garage music and its derivatives, like breakbeat. Was that intentional? She would’ve been the right age for when garage etc was really popular in the UK in 90s and early 00s, so maybe it might’ve influenced her sound.
I remember this being really intense for me and I also remember seeing a lot of people move back because of how intense the lights and sound were. I totally did the same I really could not handle it LOL but show was amazing and I really enjoyed it. just too loud and a TON of strobes
I couldn't stand watching this video . The non stop flickering assault on my eyes. I fast forwarded hoping that was just one section, but it was all the way through.
Got respect for anyone that can actually control the elektron mono machine, and no problem with the transgender movement. Except when pushed onto kids. But as for innovative Atari teenage riot nailed this sound in the 90"s They didn’t introduce noise music to pop music though which is different outside of Japan. Though going to try again elesewhere because listening to this thru a cameraphone is awful.
