I've had nothing but problems as well. 3 that over-water and one that doesn't water at all even when full. And all have bug infestations. And these plants are extremely expensive.

Really sad, right? While the style of their self-watering pots is gorgeous, for the money I expect to not battle bugs and under/over watering at the premium price. We could have all the same problems for far less buying cheap plants from big box…which I have started doing and have so far had good luck 🤞
8 easyplants = 3 under watering and 2 overwaters. 4 bug infestations ranging from gnats to centipedes.
While I am impressed with how readily they will warranty or refund any issues - they even covered one that was past the 90-days - my faith is shaken in the worth of going with easyplant. I made another mistake by not taking a refund on my last plant and going with a code for replacement that I haven’t used. I’m scared of the potential problems another easyplant would bring.

Wait…I just looked at your channel to see if you have any plant videos. I see you are an author and assist with publishing. We need to talk! 😃

I'm sure it depends on the local source. If the person there understands how it works and is careful when potting the plant it can work. If the repotting person does not understand what needs to happen, or is careless when potting, your chances are slim.

Can’t you just fill it up again? Maybe it just needs to be at least half way full

The easyplant pots are supposed to be set up so that the reservoir can water the plant until the last drop. If they quit moving moisture at a certain point the wick isn’t properly installed in the reservoir. Yes, you could top water past the point where the transfer stops, but this is a premium product - a key feature of the premium product - so it makes no sense to accept anything other than proper function. That said, since they did refund the purchase price I’m trying to salvage the plant. I fished a wire around the back side of the reservoir in hopes of freeing the wick, and I added some mix to fill in the sunken areas in the soil. 🤞 it pulls through
