I feel they should consider the performance of all players from start to finish and not just from the top teams. The libero of France played 3 games and got best libero. I know he's amazing but some libero might have better stats than him.
It's amazing how Grebennikov and Micah made it in the dream team being that they weren't there at the start of this competition. Goes to show how talented and great they are as players🔥💯........lovely dream team but Amin 🇮🇷 should have been here in my opinion

"You can teach skills, you can't teach height" - any coach ever. 6'0 is tall in everyday life, but in volleyball it's not. 6'0-2 is undersized unless you're a lib. 6'3-6'4 is short. 6'5-6'6 is Average. 6'7+ is Elite. So when I say Ngapeth gives averagely athletic kids hope, I'm not talking about height, I'm talking about his build and overall athletic ability. He's not a genetic specimen of a human being, he's just smart and plays the game well. Defalco would be an example of a genetic specimen, Ridiculous vertical with an absolute whip for an arm. You can't teach those to an elite level, you can train them up. But for the most part you either have it or you don't. Ngapeth shows that you don't need to be blessed to be good.

I understand Amin had excellent performance but team Iran couldn't get to the finals. if individual performance mattered then Nimir of Dutch team should have received the MVP, cause he has highest score of all in this tournament but Dutch team didn't get to the finals so he didn't get any awards.
