It was a true honor to have produced The Las Vegas Elvis Fest for several years but even more so to be able to bring those who lived and worked with Elvis like the late Joe Esposito, the late DJ Fontana, Jerry Schilling and so many others. To include the amazing Ed Enoch and the Stamps Quartet as well as Estelle Brown and the Sweet Inspirations, was truly magical to share that evening with those who actually performed on that very same stage with Elvis himself. When you combine that with the very talented Shawn Klush who has so much respect for Elvis and the powerful musicians from the fabulous Ambassadors band, it was absolutely an amazing experience and a lifelong dream come true for all involved.

You are quite talented Shawn. Your inflections, movement, voice are so naturally done as Elvis. Even the laugh and what you say such as Hang loose, I’ll get you later. All the things he did. The little whistle etc. it’s fun to see and makes me smile if I think Elvis is looking down and shaking his head in disbelief. It’s June of 2021. I just stumbled across this video. Never heard of this guy, but I am truly impressed. Watching this brought me back to my childhood in the 70’s. I was around 4 years old when I saw Elvis’ concert from Hawaii on TV. My mom and dad loved Elvis. I’m 51, now. My dad passed away 11 years ago and my mom is much smaller and her hair is gray, but for a few minutes, this performance brought me back to that time when we were still together, watching the King. Thank you for that. Truly. ❤️
Your comments are very touching and it is very true that when a musical performance is great, it can touch us in special ways bringing back one of a kind memories for all of us individually. For me this performance brings back the music, the magic and the memory or what I experienced when I saw Elvis perform live with 10 of my closest friends in Chicago. Only 5 are still alive but the memories of that night and all of them are with me because of Elvis.

Wow.. that must have surreal for the Sweet Inspirations and the Stamps Quartet to be performing on that stage that night, with Shawn Klush. The first time in 38 years for the Stamps Quartet, 1976, the last time they performed with Elvis, himself. Even two of the "Memphis Mafia" was there, Jerry Schilling and Joe Esposito, Elvis's right hand Man. Shawn would never have had this kind of clout, had he not become "the" premier Elvis Tribute Artist.

Klush is very, very good-. .I’ve heard is normal speaking voice in interviews but his Elvis voice down to inflections, southern slang and emphasis on syllables & vowels is impressive, really noteworthy. ...an awesome vocalist who has fine control over his drops and octaves. .👏

@@deanhayek8302 Ben Portsmouth was great 10 years ago, but nowadays he a) looks way too old to portray the 50s Elvis at the beginning of his show, b) concentrates so hard on the mannerisms that he often forgets to sing or sings off mic, c) has lost a lot of his former natural charisma and started to look overly rehearsed, and d) has lost a lot of his former excellent pitch control, resulting in often singing off key nowadays. Even Shawn is by now better than him again, let alone countless others.
He is the best Elvis Impersonator and looks more like Elvis than any I have seen. He has Elvis moves down better than any one I have ever seen and sounds the closest to Elvis.I still say there was and always was only one Elvis and he is no l onger with us. In an era when we have zillions of Elvis impersonators some good some crappy, it is nice to see Mr Klush capture the King's mannerisms, twitches, hand gestures body language, charm, charisma, and voice up to 99% of the original. In my humble estimation, Shawn Klush captures the essence of Mr Aron Presley for the whole show to a T, staying in character without letting it go, a fantastic entertainer in his own right, there's only one Shawn Klush, ladies and gentlemen.

Im legally blind n im not able to see Shawn but he is an awesome tribute of THE ONE AND ONLY ELVIS PRESLEY!!!! Oh how i love n miss him 💔. I do thank Shawn for doing such a great job paying tribute to Elvis. I had already lost my sight when Shawn was named the ultimate tribute artist of 2007. I fell n love with this man for what he represents and that is ELVIS PRESLEY no one will ever take his place but shawn has been paying tribute for 10 yrs now keeping his memory alive and he pours his heart and soul out every time he goes on stage n you just got to love a man who will do that. I would love to see him but i never know when he will be close enough to make a trip. Does anyone know when he will be back at Graceland in Memphis or somewhere nearby i live close to nashville?

But, Shawn has got it....no doubt about it:) Shawn holds the title for the "World's Greatest Elvis"....there are videos here on RUclips, showing him win the contest! But he was performing for years before that. And, he won the FIRST "Elvis Tribute Artist" Contest, put on by Graceland (I think AT Graceland). He was discovered in a contest of the search for that best Elvis. Joe Esposito was one of the judges and he said listening and watching Shawn brought tears to his eyes. Mine too.
He won a show in England called worlds greatest Elvis around 2005 or 06 and then in 2007 when Graceland started the Ultimate Elvis tribute competition Shawn was the first winner. He won singing Bridge over Troubled water in the finals. Joe Esposito and a couple other people who knew Elvis were the Judges so along with Shawn being the 1st, he is held in higher regard than most of the other winners in the years after him because the judges he had knew Elvis personally. If you want to see the best tribute Artist of the early years of Elvis' career look up Cody Ray Slaughter. When Pricilla saw him for the time she said "That's my Elvis" . And also another guy that won the Ultimate Elvis tribute is a guy named Bill Cherry. I think he won in 2009. Look up some of his recent performances where hes portraying from 74-77. Hes got probably even a better voice than Shawn Klush and does a great tribute as well.

Klush is very, very good-. .I’ve heard is normal speaking voice in interviews but his Elvis voice down to inflections, southern slang and emphasis on syllables & vowels is impressive, really noteworthy. ...an awesome vocalist who has fine control over his drops and octaves. .👏

Great Show, I've seen Shawn live twice but you can tell he was extra up for this one on the stage Elvis performed on with several of the people who performed with Elvis as well. He really is the closest I've seen to Elvis. Shawn, Bill Cherry and Cody Slaughter for the early years.

@@deanhayek8302 Ben Portsmouth was great 10 years ago, but nowadays he a) looks way too old to portray the 50s Elvis at the beginning of his show, b) concentrates so hard on the mannerisms that he often forgets to sing or sings off mic, c) has lost a lot of his former natural charisma and started to look overly rehearsed, and d) has lost a lot of his former excellent pitch control, resulting in often singing off key nowadays. Even Shawn is by now better than him again, let alone countless others.

He is the best Elvis Impersonator and looks more like Elvis than any I have seen. In an era when we have zillions of Elvis impersonators some good some crappy, it is nice to see Mr Klush capture the King's mannerisms, twitches, hand gestures body language, charm, charisma, and voice up to 99% of the original.
In my humble estimation, Shawn Klush captures the essence of Mr Aron Presley for the whole show to a T, staying in character without letting it go, a fantastic entertainer in his own right, there's only one Shawn Klush, ladies and gentlemen.
He is very much like Elvis in his ways on stage.

Im legally blind n im not able to see Shawn but he is an awesome tribute of THE ONE AND ONLY ELVIS PRESLEY!!!! Oh how i love n miss him 💔. I do thank Shawn for doing such a great job paying tribute to Elvis. I had already lost my sight when Shawn was named the ultimate tribute artist of 2007. I fell n love with this man for what he represents and that is ELVIS PRESLEY no one will ever take his place but shawn has been paying tribute for 10 yrs now keeping his memory alive and he pours his heart and soul out every time he goes on stage n you just got to love a man who will do that. I would love to see him but i never know when he will be close enough to make a trip. Does anyone know when he will be back at Graceland in Memphis or somewhere nearby i live close to nashville?

The only person who can do better than Mr. Klus is a person who is gonna look exactly like Elvis but that won't happen soon. You see we all have double look exactly the same in Heaven who will be born in sometime in the future

I haven't slept since I discovered him about 3 days ago! And I am a 100% loyal Elvis fan! But, Shawn has got it....no doubt about it:) Shawn holds the title for the "World's Greatest Elvis"....there are videos here on RUclips, showing him win the contest! But he was performing for years before that. And, he won the FIRST "Elvis Tribute Artist" Contest, put on by Graceland (I think AT Graceland). He was discovered in a contest of the search for that best Elvis. Joe Esposito was one of the judges and he said listening and watching Shawn brought tears to his eyes. Mine too.
He won a show in England called worlds greatest Elvis around 2005 or 06 and then in 2007 when Graceland started the Ultimate Elvis tribute competition Shawn was the first winner. He won singing Bridge over Troubled water in the finals. Joe Esposito and a couple other people who knew Elvis were the Judges so along with Shawn being the 1st, he is held in higher regard than most of the other winners in the years after him because the judges he had knew Elvis personally. If you want to see the best tribute Artist of the early years of Elvis' career look up Cody Ray Slaughter. When Pricilla saw him for the time she said "That's my Elvis" . And also another guy that won the Ultimate Elvis tribute is a guy named Bill Cherry. I think he won in 2009. Look up some of his recent performances where hes portraying from 74-77. Hes got probably even a better voice than Shawn Klush and does a great tribute as well.
