Hi Akiana....a Testimony...when I was 17 I saw the 🔥 of the Holy Spirit on Fred Morans head as he prayed in Tongues over someone. It looked like the reflection of light on the bow of a boat or dolphin except it was the color of fire 🔥....it flowed like that one with his spirit.

That's five birds so beautifully standing, can talk about a small community, such as a christian family or family in general. But it can also be about the presence of a new member or person in a family. I pray for those who do not have a life partner to get it soon. For those who have not been blessed with children, let them be given children.

I can't help but notice how gentle your paintings are, you already know that but you have no idea HOW APPARENT it is. I mean my paintings might have a bit more masculine intensity and drive behind it (if I was more interested) but still, WOW. Your siblings and friends must adore you, and I can't even imagine with your parents.

I would love to see you paint something in an Henri Matisse style or however your favourite paintings of his inspire you. He and Keith Haring are a couple of my favourite artists.
There's something about Matisse's work that creates moods. I especially like his images of interior still life.
Keith Haring is an interesting artist to study because he was able to successfully generate timeless art from more less spontaneous doodling.
I too, was able to do that. I created amazing abstract art from focusing on and getting my own unique handle on doodling.
I would doodle while focusing or meditating on the most significant issues or feelings I was currently dealing with in my life. To succeed, I had to focus on the big stuff, too, not on the insignificant.
Like Haring, I put down the lines, however, in my technique, I was hyper focused on expressing what I was feeling. Like in doodling, I did allow the lines to pretty much become whatever they happened to become, but being true to that was not consistent, nor an easy thing to do, because my mind wanted to take over and control the image unfolding in front of me.
I was creating art in a totally new and different mind space. I had to fight against preconceived imagery entering and taking over my mind, avoid my natural inclination to control the image being created (truly difficult), and perform a more less freestyle dance with my pen or brush that created lines honestly expressing my deepest feelings and emotions in regards to whatever I was thinking about or meditating on.
I would stick to one issue, such as my feelings about the love between my dog and I. Or feelings about children peeking in the window of my art studio.
Through meditation and the deviation from preconceived imagery, I was able to create entirely new, original, never before seen images. Images that were successfully expressing my spirit, emotions, and feelings through my subconscious orchestrated lines.
This was not an easy method. The results were not consistently great. But it was totally worth the effort. As at times, the results were the best, truly amazing, surprising, and breathtaking.
Sometimes, the lines captured my feelings in ways I would have never invisioned. One of the best ones I did, I hadn't realized what it was till I finished, stood back, and looked at it, asking myself, what is that? I didn't know right away, as I had truly removed my thoughts from the image's conscious meaning, and had been lost in the meditative state, making the resulting image about my emotions. The image was a complete surprise to me and totally captured my emotions.
If I return to art someday, this meditating doodling technique will be where I focus, as looking back, it was where the real magic happened.
I don't paint anymore. Over the years, I switched from art to writing to filmmaking. I truly love and am focused on filmmaking now, but who knows what the future holds.
