I agree with your thoughts on these cars - all of them had their good points, some great, but the prices seemed high to me. Of course, I'm not the guy who built them. The 36 Chevy and 32 Ford Coupe could get me thinking though. Thanks as always sir, fun window shopping. ~ Chuck
Awesome video man! I love to see some nice hot rods, I would love to own one someday,, but we’ll see about that in the future, I also have some new vids out from today too, ( motorcycle stunt videos ), but also school starts up in a couple of days so I will be letting you know what I’m working on in automotive repair, so that will be very interesting for me, but thanks for the great video as always Motorhead Misfits, keep them coming, 👍😀
The cars were very cool! People are still trying to get Top dollar from their rides but the ship sailed. I like the language much better in this video! Thank you for that.
Wow really some nice ones tonight hard to choose a favorite but I just love the 50 Mercury even with the chopped roof, about the only car it works for, am also a fan of the old Willy’s , maybe we can have a bid chip in part for the 55 Chevy lol, till next time 👍
Well I love the red inside. Three window coup is cool. The red and white Mercury is quite nice but my favorite, not shone, is a 1957 Ford Fairlane Sky liner. Loved mine.

I like the 57 Chevy, but I would have to repaint my manure trailer to pull behind it and change to some chrome wheels and wear my pearl snap bib overall and get Luke my (blood hound) a new collar for when he's riding shotgun!🤣🐶
That purple 15.000 dollar car was awesome and a good price in comparison with cars I see in your other videos. Where people ask 15.000 dollars for a fruitbox on square wheels.😄 But still the best RUclips channel to lay down, watch and smoke a big one. Thanks again mate.
That '31 Ford Sedan Delivery is nice, except for one thing; see I'm really into car stereos (or radios), & this doesn't have the factory radio in it. A friend of mine used to have a 1976 Ford Maverik with an A.M. radio in the dash & a custom stereo in the glove box!
I think for the money that 55 Chevy should have the engine blinged up. Opening a hood to see nothing but a smooth block is disappointing, nothing to see, next. I like flathead v8s they sound so good. That was a good one man.
That '31 Ford Delivery is sweet. So is the C Cab. I would jump all over both of them. I would much rather have an REO Speedwagon though. Haven't seen one in quite some time. Great cars this week.
Old yeller is for me.....a lot of out to lunch prices...but its not financially easy to build one of these cars anymore...almost swear these were Canadian prices !😊
I like the caddy taillights that sit atop the rear quarters and I would have sourced some 58/59 Chevy Apache fender and dual headlights to cut into the tops of the front fenders. A little pancake to the hood and maybe some small air scoops would add to the top chop custom look.
Hey I just stumbled on to this & you guys and I'll goona subscribe because it was very good. So here's my top 7 pics for looks number 1 the 54 Hudson hornet, Number 2 the 36 Chevy, Number 3 the 34 Hudson Terra plain, Number for the 50 Mercury, Number 5 the 54 chevy, Number 6 the 56 Mercury, And number 7 the 29 Ford. Now my top 2 for price are the 54 Hudson hornet and the 29 Ford 1 and 2. There are some sweet rides out there these days that are really reasonably priced and yeah you gotta pull a little bit into him but you know what if you put 400 grand into a car you can't expect to get that out of it unless it's like a 31 Bugatti. Thanks sure glad I found you guys, You ever do anything on bikes?
Man, that Hudson terraplane needs some artillery wheels. The cragars are nice, but they don't look quite right on that car. Maybe bring the nose down a little as well, but not much else needs to be done with it. That 55 Bel Air has an owner who doesn't want to sell. Wife probably said it has to go, and he said "yes dear, I'll try" but he's figuring that if he puts the price really high, he can say he's trying but no one is buying.lol. I like it, and I'd change it's wheels too, but I'm not paying $200,000 for that.
I like the way you call them as you see them , these car shows on T V just ruined people on pricing their cars , everybody thinks they got a gem & all stone . 🤔
11:05 ,the yellow 31 Ford sedan delivery looks just like an R&C mag project car .I wonder if it's the same one? the wheels and the 40 year old 350 might be clues.
Hi there bro. Now this is my kind of video. Thank you so much for pronouncing Willys properly. I have a friend over here that imports American car parts and he keeps on referring to them as a Willis Jeep. I keep on having to tell him there is no I S on the end of it. That 55 Mercury is just gorgeous and definitely in the purple. I fully agree with you about the Chevy for $39,000. Not when it looks like that. That needs a complete tear down and re-spray. I’m with you on the Buick. I think Buick just made beautiful cars. How much for the 55 Chevy?! That is way too high even though the car is beautiful. Now the 32 Ford pick up is just beautiful as it is. It’s not overly done and it looks like it could be driven every day. I like that even though you know that I am not a Ford guy. Now the 50 mercury you are speaking my language. to me that was the most beautiful mercury they ever made. You speak the truth. The 50 mercury begged to have the roof chopped and the lights frenched. it was one of those cars that came out the factory and said please customise me. Okay, the 56 Mercury, whoever built that definitely put in the money and the time because that is one beautiful looking car. The 39 Chevy is just gorgeous and I agree with you about the colour. The funny thing is that the 1950 Ford looked very much the same. The 32 Ford I like but I will be honest. I hate it when they don’t put the mudguards and the running boards on them. I don’t like that open wheel look. I could understand if it was built here in the UK because we can’t get the parts but in America you can even if they are fibreglass. Now the Hudson I do like and I have to admit that the Hudson Hornet was just a beautiful car. The 57 pick up is beautiful and it’s one of my favourites as well, but as you say for 80 grand, I don’t think so. That is a little high. I love that 39 Hudson. Absolutely beautiful. As always another fantastic video from you bro. I really look forward to the next one as I know there will be one. thanks for a great laugh and please take care of yourself and many blessings to you and your family from the UK.
Yeah I have to correct some people on the old willys here too.. lots of very cool rides in this one.. I'd take every one of them.. other than the 55 mercury they was all overpriced. Blessing back to you and yours sir!
All those prices were WAY OUT OF CONTROL! That 55 Chevy owner is out of touch with reality! 300k for a Ford ??? Insane owner! He needs someone to take control of his financial planning!
Problem with all of them is they are overpriced if you are over 50 years old - I know money is worth less today but to spend that kind of money on toys is out of reach for most of us. If your name is Rockefeller than proceed to check out.
Nothing against the tri-5 Chevys but none of them are worth $100,000 or more, they made a lot of them and there’s still a lot of them around. Every car show is full of them.
Had a bunch of tri five in the 70s, all cool, never would I pay that much for a 55 cool looking but you will be driving someone's car that you didn't do anything to build, posers
I think most of these cars are at a fair price. There were a couple that were beautiful, but not 200k beautiful. I think the best deal is the Mercury Monterey at 15k. I’d buy it if I had that money laying around. …….and place to keep it.
I know that your theme behind this channel is vehicles for sale on Fakebook market place. But likely a lot of viewers have a classic or strange car already, and watching, as they are maybe looking to upgrade, or add to their fleet. Have you ever considered asking viewers to send photos of their own rides (NOT FOR SALE)?
purple Mercury at about 10,000 you can make it your on. Play 55 Chevy Silverado 50,000 if it's truly a frame of restoration looks like from the pictures a solid build
I think an elegant black cherry paint would look much better than that odd shade of purple. As to the price with the odd shade paint is a bit high. Just look how much more elegant the Chevy looks with a more pleasing shade of paint.
I think most of those guys know people are going to kick tires and low-ball the price but 200 thousand dollars 😮. Don't think 🤔 they will try to cut you in half!!😂
I watch all your videos and I actually like them but..... I have never heard you agree with a price of any of the cars. What's up with that. Did you ever take into consideration how much money and time went into them.
Of course I take that into account what it costs and the time.. I build this stuff. I know what it costs to build, and definitely know when someone went overboard and spent way touch on a project.
@@Leon-mn6fn it's ok. I was just showing love for some of the kick-ass cars I saw there. But you're right. We're a little spoiled in the States when it comes to prices on some stuff.
I know about these prices, they’re trying to recoup the amount of money that they spent and then, you have the ones that think that their rides are worth more than what they put in it. Everybody’s greedy. I wouldn’t pay these prices for any of them even though there are a couple of them I’d like to have but not for those prices. Even the new cars aren’t worth what the factories and dealers are asking for.
I like the Ford delivery but the chevy drivetrain kills it for me. I think theres one car left in this video & not one of all these Ford's shown have a correct drivetrain.🤔😮💨
what did you just look through and pick up ads that were ridiculously priced. The majority of these cars aren’t worth close to what some of these people are asking
Absolutely.. and when go overboard with your personal customization.. you've lost a big chunk of your potential buyers too! Thanks for watching and commenting
You never get out what you put in, unless you do everything yourself and have a lot of parts. Then you still don't get what you invested. People build cars because they loke them, not for investment.
Oh dear lord, In the name of every thing that’s holy aren’t we done yet with putting a small block Chevy in every old car ? Especially old Ford coupes and roadsters I get that they’re reliable, cheap and plentiful but it’s getting old, Heck, it was old 30 years ago
Well opinions very on that.. we don't know what's been done to that motor.. so I'd think it would be hard to say it automatically disqualified it as a hot rod. Some peoples original engine doesn't always mean stock...Thanks for watching and commenting
You don't have to sale it.. you could always send it in to us at motorheadmisfitsyt@yahoo.com and have it appear on a new segment we are working on. That is dedicated to the fan's who wanna show us their projects
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su no problem man I actually usually dont comment but I really enjoy your content so I've been trying to like, comment etc to help ya make the money besides you kinda remind me of me XD
$200,000 for a trailer and garage queen? I wouldn’t spend that much money on a car that you’d be afraid to take out and drive. All of these people are delusional and don’t have a bit of common sense. $200,000?SMH
1)This one is stuck on stupid. For this price, where is the other half of it and put the headlights back where they belong. But I still wouldn't be happy because too much of it was cut out, no rumble seat and the the inside of the car isn't and never will be again of what it should be anymore as it was cut out. 2) For a glass car with the wrong motor in it, $10K is too much to ask. 3) For how clean it is, you are going to steal it at that price. 4) I agree with you, But this is a good looking car and would be worth the time to be what it should be. Then you could ask this price. 5) For this price, they will need to finish it, give it abetter paint job and a full modern interior.. When it is finished it will look Phenomonal. 6) He would have better odds for this price with a Special edition of something else with a factory big block with matching numbers from the day it was originally built. A Resto-mod? I will put it to you this way. A Resto-mod/Hotrod anything will never do anything better than $43K at Barrett-Jackson on average. There are a few exceptions, but that was when at least two people wanted the same car and will not walk away emptyhanded unless they are outbid. 7) My personal opinion. It has to have analog gauges, a new Ford motor is swapped in and it is put on blackwall bodymatching colored Wire wheels, and drop about #12K off of the price. 8) If the price tag includes a repaint in Washington Blue or a Deep Maroon, (I like the paint on the car now just like you do, but these two colors would make it look like you stole it at the price he wants.) and rebuild the drivetrain, I might say yes. 9) If it were Marauder, yes it would. And I personally don't like the chop either. 10)I like it too, but not with a bland usual 350/350 package for the drivetrain. A 454 Motor with a Turbo 400 Trans, that would be negotiable. 11) I have to say that regardless to the price, I would want the other half to be put back onto it. The headlights need to go back to where they were put on the car originally and I can't stand that wrong motor being in it. A LS is the perfect motor... Can a LS handle 900 horses in an almost stock configuration? A new Ford Coyote can. And it belongs in this car. 12) I like it too. This is this car's original motor, it is referred to as a 7-X. The price? What if I told you that the motor in this car won Nascar races againt V-8s of almost every other car maunufactured at the time when this one was brand new? 13) It is a Chevy. In a lot of people's minds it makes it worth that much to them. (More than double of what it should be.) * There are more factors in it than just the name of the make, and a Chevy is the entry-level of the Company. 14) Drop $10K offof the price. I'll still say no because of the motor and wheels 15) You're right, he spent too much and altered it too much. He should have kept it as close to the original look as possible. And the ugly wheel were unnecessary, the original WIre wheels are perfect for the car's lines. 16) It look good, but it isn't for me. (Yes, the wheels and the motor.) 17) I agree, it needs a paint job. 18) This car is gorgeous. However, please put the original wheels back on it.
Sorry I hate dirt dragers . Altitude determines aditude. I like em high and mean . And they may have that much in those cars but they are to rich for my wallet .
All depends who builds it.. if your paying someone else to do it .. I can agree with you. Having the knowledge and ability to build it myself.. I can build it cheaper.. I have no labor or up charges. Thanks for watching and commenting

Both Hudsons are really nice, the 6 cyl one I would change it towards more stock looking but at least one has the matching drivetrain!
Fair enough!
Well I love the red inside. Three window coup is cool. The red and white Mercury is quite nice but my favorite, not shone, is a 1957 Ford Fairlane Sky liner. Loved mine.

That first coupe is not a rat rod!
If you brought those nice Hot Rods to Australia you would be paying 20 to 30 grand more here in Australia!!!
I've seen some of the Aussie hot rods back in April. The hot rod scene is fairly awesome there between Sydney and Brisbane.
@@SamTheBalloonMan So have I...
@@SamTheBalloonMan And what I said has fuck all to do with what you said about the price..
@@Leon-mn6fn it's ok. I was just showing love for some of the kick-ass cars I saw there. But you're right. We're a little spoiled in the States when it comes to prices on some stuff.
I hear ya.

#1&3 and the yellow van were priced right, the others need to put those crack pipes down!
🤣... thanks for watching and commenting
Id give 50 max for the 34 Ford. Noone put that much money in that car. The sedan delivery is cool. Graffics on cars is passe' lowers the value.
I like the Ford delivery but the chevy drivetrain kills it for me. I think theres one car left in this video & not one of all these Ford's shown have a correct drivetrain.🤔😮💨
I do like to see more correct engines myself.. bit I am a chevy person.. so it's not a deal breaker for me.

Would love me a 3 window ford deuce
Your in luck , lots of those are available.

Hmmmmmm, hot rods are pre 1948.
what did you just look through and pick up ads that were ridiculously priced. The majority of these cars aren’t worth close to what some of these people are asking
If you are building a Hot Rod You need to remember you will almost never get out what you put in. Just a fact
Absolutely.. and when go overboard with your personal customization.. you've lost a big chunk of your potential buyers too!

Must Say All These Was Well Built Hot Rods Definitely Better Then Turning Little Smart Car Or Mini Truck Cutting Up As A Rat Rod Which Is Pointless.
Yes.. thanks for watching and commenting
If they don't have fenders they are not finished.
I need to raise the price on my car. I'm way low!
😂🤣
You never get out what you put in, unless you do everything yourself and have a lot of parts. Then you still don't get what you invested. People build cars because they loke them, not for investment.
Absolutely.. thanks for watching and commenting
Oh dear lord, In the name of every thing that’s holy aren’t we done yet with putting a small block Chevy in every old car ?
Especially old Ford coupes and roadsters
I get that they’re reliable, cheap and plentiful but it’s getting old,
Heck, it was old 30 years ago
I think some of these people are trying to get every dime they put in their cars back from resale . Doesn’t happen in the real world!
Lots of nice cars but I dont like 350 350 9inch just to many cars with that driveline. I like to be different
I hear that.. I like different things too!

55 MERCURY W/ ORIGINAL ENGINE= NOT A HOT ROD
Well opinions very on that.. we don't know what's been done to that motor.. so I'd think it would be hard to say it automatically disqualified it as a hot rod. Some peoples original engine doesn't always mean stock...Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su VERY GOOD POINT
The 55 has the wrong engine and its a post car, max value $25000
I'd love for you to comment on my bug, but I'll never sell it. :) dang it.
You don't have to sale it.. you could always send it in to us at motorheadmisfitsyt@yahoo.com and have it appear on a new segment we are working on.
That is dedicated to the fan's who wanna show us their projects
That Montclair, yeah it was sharp as fuck but 35-40k is really all I can see payin for it no way is he gonna get 60k
I agree.

The price of anything is what you can get someone to pay for it.
Yup!
$200,000 for a trailer and garage queen? I wouldn’t spend that much money on a car that you’d be afraid to take out and drive. All of these people are delusional and don’t have a bit of common sense. $200,000?SMH
Pinche small block Chevys,!!!
I don't like digital guages.
I'll still say no because of the motor and wheels
15) You're right, he spent too much and altered it too much. He should have kept it as close to the original look as possible. And the ugly wheel were unnecessary, the original WIre wheels are perfect for the car's lines.
16) It look good, but it isn't for me. (Yes, the wheels and the motor.)
17) I agree, it needs a paint job.
18) This car is gorgeous. However, please put the original wheels back on it.
Great comment
Too expensive!
Pretty much.

Any REAL hot rod is worth more than $25000,
Sorry I hate dirt dragers . Altitude determines aditude. I like em high and mean . And they may have that much in those cars but they are to rich for my wallet .
Gotcha.. thanks for watching and commenting
None of that! Nice to look at, but I like looking at my money better.
🤣🤣.. I definitely hear that.
Thanks for watching and commenting as always
Most of the prices seem pretty fair, couldn't build them for that price
All depends who builds it.. if your paying someone else to do it .. I can agree with you.
Having the knowledge and ability to build it myself.. I can build it cheaper.. I have no labor or up charges.
