As much as I love Jason, I have to admit he is severely lacking in the good father department. While it's obvious Jason would show up for his kids in a moment of crisis, it's the day to day little moments that count as well. I would love to see Jason spending quality time with his sons and doing things like going to the park or helping them with girl trouble, typical dad stuff. Over the past few years, the writers have worked overtime to change Sam's character, and while I certainly have my issues with the way she is now, I understand why she needed to "grow up" as it were. I think it's high time they did the same for Jason and have him FINALLY put his kids first.
Worried About Jason and I love that he’s talking to how Jasons talking to Danny like the acting is phenomenal on both parts like usually the kids can’t act but Danny he can act. He’s actually a great actor I can’t believe scum on Facebook try to put this child down and say that his hair was awful I mean I’m like don’t pick him apart. What are you doing? He’s a kid my goodness they can be cruel but I stopped it because I’m a Christian amen.
Sam is overprotective of Danny because she is afraid for him. He is Jason’s son with Jason’s tendencies. As fun as their life was together before having kids things are different when you have kids. Jason is inconsistent and his kids will pay the price. Sam sees that and is being a good mom. Can’t have two inconsistent parents but then some of you don’t mind since your love for the character trumps common sense.
I'd like to play devil's advocate for a moment. While I think your take on things is partly right, I get the sense that Jason's character isn't given a fair shake. He has literally been everyone's door mat and Savior. He didn't choose to be taken from his family. He's consistently put everyone and their kids first. The sad part is he has and would've continued to do the same thing for his kids but the storyline didn't go in his favor. While I agree that Sam had to grow up and become a consistent and reliable parent I don't think it's fair to vilify Jason. The man has done his best with the hand he's been dealt. Yes I love Jason Morgan the character but if he were a selfish, vindictive and evil father like most of the Cassadine men or Fasion for example I'd agree with you but give the man a break please.
Okay let's think about it for years Jason was very hesitant on having kids because he knew of his lifestyle. She was the one who always pressured him into having kids even though he loved her he will never abandon his kids secondly when he was there for his kids he was truly there for his kids she talks about how they only see him a few hours out the day that's the same thing that happens with Dante and he is a cop. Jason literally saves everybody that he can he puts everybody kids and he definitely puts his own kids he gave up his son who he definitely loved to protect him and when he thought Danny was Franco's he still fought to save him and no one is giving him the benefit of the doubt and everybody's calling him out on it
It seems forgotten that Jason has irreversible brain damage that affected his frontal lobe. That is the area for emotion, abstract thinking, knowing right from wrong, plus he has adrenaline issues - overactive need for danger. That’s the result of injury. It’s not his natural personality. So Danny may act out as he perceives Jason they way kids imitate their parents. Also Jason decided to have Elizabeth and lucky raise Jake to protect him from his job. He’s always put his kids first. And he was amazing raising Michael. He has a lot of kindness, loyalty, and bravery that would serve his kids well. He doesn’t lie or make promises he can’t keep. He would take a bullet for those he loves. I think the things that happened that kept him from his kids were situations that happened to him and never his choice. He missed a lot with his kids at no fault of his own.
no.... its the fact that Sam KNEW who Jason was and KNEW he had NO INTENTIONS on leaving the mob life she had a front row seat to how Sonny kids (including her lil sis ) was affected by his lifestyle....not to mention Sam knew he was absent in his 1st son Jakes life because of his lifestyle and STILL thought it would be a great idea to have a child with this man and now she wanna act brand new.... i understand people change and thats cool but Sam needs to understand no matter how much she's changed her past decisions are permanent you chose for Jason to father your son stop acting like Josslyn...Willfully ignorant😑

In fact, if they wanted to establish some sort of Jason/Danny connection, it would have made more sense and been much more believable to acknowledge it as an active choice on Danny's part. I have a brain injury from a car accident. So when Danny said his mom wouldn’t let him play football because he could get a brain injury that hurt. Hurt my heart. Brain injuries are not inherited. I understand she was worried, but she stopped Danny from living life. Jason shouldn’t play football, but Danny could.
Of course they aren't inherited. You get them through things that happen to you. Football puts you in a position where it's much more likely to happen. You can keep your kids from doing stuff like football or boxing, where TBIs are much more common, but still let them do plenty of other stuff. My kids love karate and parkour. Yeah, they can get hurt, especially during parkour. But it's not nearly as likely to do long-term damage to the brain as football.
To be honest football is dangerous and causes brain injury for the unlucky ones. I don't blame sam. I would do the same not having my kid play football for yhat reason there are other sports that he can enjoy and live his life by. 😂
