I've been listening to Magic on the school run in the morning and I never realised that Ronan is quite a comedian. I think he's got the potential of becoming the new "Terry Wogan" (God rest his soul).

This is soooo hilarious and I can just imagine how embarrassing that must have been for Ronan. But honestly to be fair, it was his day off and he was just accompanyimg a friend to a charity event...it wasn't fair to put him on the spot...to forget 2 lyrics to 2 of your own most often sung and requested songs is super funny. I love the Rollercoaster Na na na na na part and how after revving up the audience he switched to Nothing at all and forgot the lyrics there too. Love how he narrates the anecdote...he has great comic timing.

i guess that really WAS embarrassing for Ronan. i don't blame him for not remembering the lyrics of some of his famous solo songs. i love listening to when you say nothing at all, and life is a rollercoaster, and i always remember the lyrics to each song. I guess Ronan would have to take my advice on remembering song lyrics: before he goes on tour across UK & Ireland, he'll have to rehearse the lyrics for each song on his setlist on each gig.

I would imagine that when he knows he's going to be going up on stage, he doesn't get drunk off his face beforehand though. That's the one factor that put him in this situation, it seems. Forgetting lyrics here and there happens, but two songs in a row and failing at singing even one of them in full or something that even remotely resembles a full song is awful, I can totally understand why he feels bad about that; I adore him anyway though, he's ace.
