Fun fact: the last flag in Breakthrough on Iwo Jima is in the exact same spot of the mountain where the famous flag-raising photo was taken. It's a super cool detail even if, as you can see in the video, it doesn't work well gameplay-wise.

To be totally fair to the game, at the start, it was rough, then they tried to do 2 different TTK changes that nobody wanted, weird cosmetics for the time period, although some looked awesome. But the pacific update was AMAZING, and it looked like it was gonna turn around and get awesome again, but they cut support for it and battlefront 2 in favor of 2042, and... well, the rest is history.
Side note, 2042 is great right now, give it a look now
Don't forget that after the Pacific released, they fucked with the TTK one final time only to switch it back less than a week later.....AGAIN.
As someone who pre-ordered 2042, no matter what you say, that game will *always* be terrible. It's not even a Battlefield game. Battlefield has classes, 2042 has heroes. It's more like CoD or Overwatch than Battlefield.
Also game directors going "if you don't like it well fck you" didn't help.
I just realized that the BfV ''Type 2A'' is actually a Type 1 smg, the Type 2A has way more wood furnishing

I think BFV's reveal was hated mostly because of DICE's response to the backlash, that trailer was horrendous and the characters in it looked ridiculous no matter which gender they were. A DICE representative also just said "if you don't like it, don't buy" following it up with some hokey shit about being inclusive(in a game set in WW2 which couldn't be a time any further from "inclusive") and the infamous "our take on WW2" and then they released a bad game. It just piled up, their focus seemed more on being politically correct than on making a good game.
Everytime i see the holo sights on the rifles my eye twitches 😅

20:13 Lemme tell you Y some folks wasn't happy with this... BF1 n games before it. They where great did well and it was a blast. Then we see the trailer for BFV and see women.. Now as for realism we saw that they didn't giv asf combine that with DEV's leavin... The main problem is they where welling to throw woman into war (They as in DICE) And say Fuck What made our games great Welcome home politics... Which for me that meant LESS DICE MORE EA. 🤷♂ Welp u get BFV.. Then u get BF 2042... A red flag to put it simply. I still played BFV for a solid year or 2. Mainly because my group was tryn out n i met some new friends. but it even while we was playing BFV we always went back to either BF1 or BF4.
To be fair about the whole women in war part. The campaign mission where you played as a women to infiltrate a sub. In reality all but like 2 of the soldiers died before they could even get close, but they continued anyway and got the job done with killing a single German soldier. Allot of people felt like it was akin to stolen valor by making the soldiers female for a highly dangerous mission that helped to win the war. They wouldn’t have gotten so much hate if they made a mission about the all female Soviet snipers.

As much of a scam game Warpath is. I *HIGHLY* recommend checking out the trailers for it. Both of them are film worthy masterpieces for literally no reason whatsoever.

I understand why people hate BFV, but 2042 makes it look like BF4 (The best Battlefield game fight me).
Battlefield V is more comparable to Battlefront 2. They sucked a lot, but the devs fixed it, they were amazing (Albeit abandoned, thanks EA.)
