Unfortunately, the only interest that the basilica curia has shown in the restoration of the organ is to use the million-dollar budget allocated for this purpose in the 90s to renovate a school for priests, in addition to installing a park with an artificial lake. It was a great scandal and demonstrated the level of corruption that that church managed. And today priests do not have the slightest idea of the danger that this organ is in. Only 4 or 5 voices work on the main keyboard. They think it works and sounds good, they don't know what that organ is in its entirety. Although we are still fighting to one day make it work again.
