Sharpes biggest problem in Portland is the same as Scoot Hendersons. People out there do not realize just how bad Billuos is as a coach. Since he has been here he has one of the worst offenses AND worst defenses in the NBA. This includes having Dame and CJ, Norman Powell ect as players. Bruh, Ousman Dieng has MASSIVE potential still. OKC knew they got a raw player, and he balled out in the GLeague winning a GLeague Finals MVP. He is 6’10” with guard skills, but just needs to add more physicality. Dude can play… and he had a crazy journey going from France to the NBL to being drafted to Oklahoma at barely 19 years old. yeah the dude who made the video is just someone who clearly doesn’t watch the Pacers or doesn’t care to even just look at how the roster is constructed to see clearly Mathurin is essential to the future of the franchise. But casuals talking out of their ass about small market teams they don’t know squat about isn’t new sadly. I’m excited to see Hali, Mathurin, Nesmith, Siakam, and Turner starting together, next year is gonna be fun.
Yeah, i don't want to see him in the rotation. His defense is clearly one of the worst in the league, he doesn't try to make up for it by putting some effort. He's so lazy on defense I'd rather have a traffic cone instead…
Paolo Banchero has overcome any expectations that anyone had on him. Got the Magic to a 5th seed in his sophomore season where his front office got 2 potential busts in the lottery. I can’t wait to see him continue to grow and hopefully his teammates can improve too because the Magic could have a very good young core
The thunder traded up for Ousmane Dieng to make sure they got Jalen Williams at 12 with their pick because the cavs were looking to trade up as well to draft him. They didn’t wanna pick Jalen Williams with the 11 bc the trade might not go through
People forgot about Mathurin because of Indiana's PO performances. But peoplen also forget prior the PO run, Indiana's FO clearly showed their trust in Mathurin, by clearing his spot to make sure he will have sufficient game time to shine.
Not really we actually wanted Paolo and our front office and everybody else including Paolo thought he was going to drop to 3. But the Magic at the last minute decided to take him number one which caused us to pick Jabari It was the right move on their part they needed a number one option that can get a bucket.
I'm glad Magic went for Banchero rather than Jabari Smith. Jabari always felt like a 6'11 Klay Thompson rather than an actual franchise player like Paolo. Both went to franchises that fit them
I Remember Paolo was the most NBA ready prospect, but the belief was he had the lowest ceiling. O how wrong was that, and I was part of it. Chet turned into exactly what was predicted. And Jabari rlly is only disappointing cuz he had to play with ball stoppers Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr his first year.
Just a small note on the Ousmane Dieng pick: Brian Windhorst wrote a long article about this. Basically, what happened was the Knicks were sitting at 11, right in front of OKC. Everyone knew the Knicks were trading the 11 pick to trade out of the draft and save money to make a run at Brunson in free agency. The Thunder feared that other teams knew they were targeting Jalen Williams at 12 and would trade with the Knicks to get in front of them to take JDub, so they outbid those other teams to 100% guarantee they would get Jalen Williams. That's even why they picked Dieng at 11 and Jalen at 12, because it's always possible for a trade to fall through after it's agreed on. So if it did fall through, they'd lose Dieng. But there was no chance of that happening with 12. So there ya go. The trade for pick 11 by OKC was more about guaranteeing they got Jalen Williams.
Seems like nearly every year that Detroit drafts a guy top 5 who is very athletic but doesn't shoot great and is in a terrible place for development. Ivey is just one of 3 or 4 of those guys.
the Mathurin take is so fucking weird to me, why do you think he’s on the outside looking in when he was a crucial part of the pacers in the first half??? Nembhard really stepped up especially down the stretch but i don’t see how Mathurin will be “forgotten” as it seems like he’s the 2 going forward. There aren’t that many guards on the roster.
Still not sold on Sharpe, especially with 2 many young shooters in team with bad % and huge TO. Not environment for development, they need older guy who can bring flow of the ball, like SA did now with CP3
Wow 2022 looks like it could go down as one of the greatest drafts 1-9. Didn’t realize how many quality players were drafted then after 10 going into the rest of the draft is filled with more great picks such as jaylen williams and duren. Yeah this a great draft n to think Benedict matheran also looking like an odd man out in indiana? I would of loved my raptors to get him in siakiam trade, i thought he was untouchable though. Ben isva dogg man look how he took over in the all star weekend games last season. He didn’t have the greatest season but some players just have that it factor. I think ben has that and on my raptors would be that young alpha dog. Reminds me of a young poor mans dwayne wade . Sounds like a diss but even a poor mans wade would be a top player in today’s game
Yeah Mathurin DOESN'T have that IT factor. Him falling off bad in his 2nd year IS USUALLY a huge telling of a player and it's majority of the time doesn't get better from there and ends up a bench player WHICH HE STILL IS. players with IT would have started by now. Keegan literally was on a team that was trying to win in his rookie YEAR AND HE TOOK IT THAT SPOT. That's what IT looks like. He already have a 40+ game have multiple 30+ games multiple 12+ rebound games, broken 2 3pt records already. Improving highly on defense, that's what IT factor looks especially in his first Playoffs series, he may be average on those first two games but he lit it up the next two on GSW court for 20+, that's WHAT IT FACTOR LOOKS LIKE. The fact he went off in the summer league immediately shows he was above the rest. Banchero, Chet and Keegan are the best 3 players in this draft and it is still unknown who will be the best as each have their own unique game. Banchero being an all around player, Chet being the tall defensive player that can score and Keegan being a lights out shooter and is an all defensive talent that is still improving his all around scoring...... Mathurin and no one else on this Draft is on those 3 level. This casual wants to put Williams there but he definitely isn't, he literally choked on the playoffs. The most overrated on this draft class when he is at the ceiling of a 18/6 kind of stats and a above average defender. He is like another Dort. Definitely a starter caliber but All-Star?! There's only 3 All-star caliber players in this draft and that's Keegan, Banchero and Chet.
@@blowc1612 Well im not saying ben is on the level of the 3 u mentioned but it is still very early in these players careers. The sophomore slump is a thing though that many players have experienced and bounced back tremendously. People tried to say the same with Scottie barnes in year 2, which i new people werent actually watching but then look 3rd year is a all star. Again noy even saying Ben should be a player to build a team around but he does look like he can be core player for many teams with capabilities of taking over games at stretches at a time. Similar to how jamal murry can take over games in denver while not being the best player as its obviously joker. Why call me a casual for thinking of jaylen williams? Many have raved over his game as well n is a core piece on one of the best young teams in the league. Keagan u mention has the it factor that u mentioned and i wont disagree but keagan play style is suited to be more of a complementary player. Dont think he can be a number one on any successful team
@@terrancedavis4851 Scottie Barnes looks like just a quality starter. He is ceiling at 18/6 kind of player. No all star, no it factor. Rare we see a player to become better than what we can see in their first two year of their careers as we can see from there their ceilings. 3rd year usually cements it. Last player who broke this was Laurie whoo looked average until he broke out. Keegan definitely can be the main guy, that's why a lot of teams wants him. But he is a team player guy and will do what the coaches tells him. He improves his game of what the coaches asks. The fact he exploded in summer his 2nd stint shows if he became the focus in an offense he can definitely answer and make the baskets. That's why currently has the highest career high on the Kings. He is a quiet humble kid who is focused on winning, what more can you ask for a main guy when he has shown he can score. He can play defense and technically he is the best two way player in this draft. If I'm not mistaken he also has the highest career high currently in this draft class and highest rebound in a game. He a good sense shot blocking. He can drive to the basket and create his own shot, still need some improvement in those aspects but he definitely shows he can get there. His game is like a taller version Klay with the deamenor of Timmy. 3rd season is when A player gets their NBA body, so watch this year he will be even better now that players just can't out muscle him. Wouldn't be surprised he gets considered MIP this season. Mathurin is a 6th man kind of player ceiling. This season is make it or break for this draft class outside of Chet. You will see a lot of these players potential this season if they can raise their ceilings further as a lot has already shown their ceiling and this season is just confirming it. Yeah it is a casual thing to just follow what others say and not actually watch their game, Williams showed a lot in the playoffs when he choked to contribute anything, just like how Barnes chokes in 2016. OKC didn't even have a lot of pressure in the post seasons since it was their first time and he crumbles in two series. Unlike Keegan in his first series where he was able to score 20+. No, pressure shooting lights out and playing good defense. Playoffs is where you will see a lot of players true nature and William isn't close to being all star caliber and as I said just saying the same thing g others are saying is being a casual. Ivey will be fighting for his 3rd contract to stay in the league, Mathurin show no improvements and will be a bench player. Williams is a starter caliber and as I said like Dirt but he isn't "all NBA" like this dummy says, who is a complete casuals that's why he doubles down on Ivey. Banchero, Cher and Keegan all NBA caliber player ceilings. No one else in this class, maybe 1-2 more May make it into an all star game because of injuries but I highly doubt it. Keegan will for sure be on the 2028 US team as no other young player in his position shows the potential as he already have.
@@blowc1612 bruh you don't watch indiana play. He was about to snatch that spot when he injured his shoulder. Johnny Davis was genuinely given up on after one season pretty much, Walker Kessler is a DPOY level player already, Peyton Watson won't flourish in Denver but is a great defensive player, Nembhard is the steal of the draft, Jaden Hardy went to a really bad situation in Dallas for him but he still has a lot of potential. Kessler is not a dpoy level guy😂 im not even joking when i say he literally got outrebounded by tobias harris and ben simmons last year, one of the best rim protectors yes dpoy level no, he didnt even make an all defense team last year, im with u on nembhard though
@@cheap272 Kessler played less than 24 minutes a night, came off the bench most of the season(playing less games than year 1) and the backcourt was clogged with Lauri and Collins getting over 6 and a half boards a game. - Johnny Davis is genuinely bad, and still got to play 50 games last season. - IF Walker was DPOY ready, he wouldnt have only started 22 games. Who is he better than Defensively? Wemby, Chet, AD, JJJ, Mobley, Bam, Draymond, Giannis, Gobert - What would be a better situation for Nembhard?
@@Shortballa11 my comment deleted before i was finished, but to sum it up, Johnny Davis played 12 minutes a game for 50 games behind Poole and Kispert, Kessler is a better interior defender than Giannis, Draymond, Mobley, JJJ, Bam and Chet(not a better perimeter defender, also Giannis isn't a great defender even though he won DPOY, like Smart), the best teams for Nembhard to breakout on in a lead guard role is the Spurs, Nets and Magic

Lets see if this casual will at least have some good take on this draft especially THE ONLY PLAYER ON THIS DRAFT THATS BREAKING RECORDS, TWO SEASONS TWO RECORDS BROKEN.
Your whole argument on Chet’s durability due to a freak accident is a really weak one. Him being skinnier actually prevented him from having a worse injury.
But still, players that are 7+ ft tall, are almost always injury prone. They usually have knee or ankle issues. Not saying the argument he made, or lack thereof, isn't true. But ya, guys built like chet or Victor always end up with injury issues.
@@MrWesleyton for sure, but he's like the exception. You can pick out a few....and it's a very few, that had long healthy careers. But like 80% of players 7ft with that frame.....didn't play long and dealt with injuries their whole short careers
@@jasonking971 Chet doesn’t play as a traditional big either though, he switches against 4s all the time. Dub has been switched onto 5s many times, they don’t use any position traditionally anymore and with hart and jwill they will be switching off even more.

Sounds like a Pistons fan and a casual 🤣 🤣. Ivey will be a bench player and could be out of the league in 5 years. Keegan has the potential of being a 20+/8/4 kind of player with 4 Stocks a game. He is an all defensive caliber and a lights out shooter. Glazing? 🤣 It ain't glazing when in his sophomore year he already broke 2 record that Hall of Famers previously held, have been able to 40+ and rebound 15+. Ivey wish he can come close to that kind of stats. Isn't 3rd option? Yeah because he was a sophomore on a team with TWO ALL NBA PLAYERS, a 6th man of the year, and Huerter was lights out a season ago but has been hurt last season... STILL KEEGAN LITERALLY IS THE 3RD HIGHEST SCORER ON THE ROSTER 😂 of course he currently doesn't look like the 3rd option now when DeRozan is also coming over but he definitely was the 3rd option last season when Sabonis as outside of Fox who is always the first option, the rest of the Kings take turns in regards of 2nd option on the team since it depends on who is hot that's why Kings offense took a hit when Huerter and Monk went down and it was easier to defend the Kings missing the floor speeder and opposing teams can double easier. With DeRozan on the team it's gonna be tougher and would only improve even more. Keegan is the 3rd best player from this draft and it isn't even a run away from Banchero that he will be the best player on this draft as Chet and Keegan are definitely behind him especially since Keegan is part of the select team and as long as he continues to grow will definitely be on the Olympics team in 2024 shooting lights out. While Ivey will be barely in the league, traded out of the Pistons and is on a contract probably a 3 year team option playing for his 3rd contract. Which I'm very doubtful he will get. The fact Keegan dropped 35+ back 2 back in the summer league last season shows he was above the draft class but Banchero and Chet but definitely tiers above Ivey.
Ivey is not better overall 🤣 name one thing he does better than Keegan... Keegan the better shooter, better defender, better rebounder, better steals, better blocks, better off ball and can create his own shot which he worked on last season to improve.... Iveys best skill is attacking the rim and he looks lackluster at it and Keegan looks better when he takes to the rim with monster dunks. I've never seen a player struggles so hard just to get 10 pts as much as Ivey has that was I always took under 10pts for him and it was EZ MONEY.

No one actually thought Jabari Smith was the first pick. The whole year it was Paolo and Chet, and the Magic essentially just wanted to pump fake the other two teams. If you followed the draft that year you knew Jabari wasn’t going first
OKC traded up to get Dieng so they could get jdub. They would have drafted jdub with that Knicks pick but their own pick was next so they got jdub with their own pick so that if anything fell through with that big trade, they’d own the rights to Dub still and Dieng would be the player at risk of losing. Cavs and hawks were trying to trade up to NYKs spot to take Jalen Williams and that’s why it took 3 firsts to get that Knicks pick. They weren’t great firsts bc the protection but of course 3 of them for that pick with who was left on consensus boards is still value that is more than normal, bc there were multiple teams bidding and OKC had to beat em all and make it a non factor. If no one was trying to get jdub OKC never would have traded and only would have picked dub at 12 and never got Dieng/the Knicks pick

yeah the dude who made the video is just someone who clearly doesn’t watch the Pacers or doesn’t care to even just look at how the roster is constructed to see clearly Mathurin is essential to the future of the franchise. But casuals talking out of their ass about small market teams they don’t know squat about isn’t new sadly. I’m excited to see Hali, Mathurin, Nesmith, Siakam, and Turner starting together, next year is gonna be fun.
MY GLORIOUS KING SOCHAN THE DESTROYER RAHHHHH HE WILL BE MOSY IMPROVED NEXT SEASON
Lmao no tf he will not
@@grapeape1965 Who tf are u dr basketball?? Stfu
He's definitely a dark horse for MIP. I hope he does improve a ton and prove everyone wrong. I'll laugh my ass off while the haters eat their words.
mathurin will definitely be the third option when he is back and will develop into #2 when pascal ages out
Branham was an interesting choice to include. As a Spurs fan, I don’t think he’s going to be in the rotation this year.
Yeah, i don't want to see him in the rotation. His defense is clearly one of the worst in the league, he doesn't try to make up for it by putting some effort. He's so lazy on defense I'd rather have a traffic cone instead…
I like Benedict mathurin, he just don’t get enough pt.
Mathurin showed some improvements last season before he was hurt. Inconsistent but still need some reps when he comes back.
AB and Jett aren’t busts you are just brainless. They will prove you wrong soon
The thunder traded up for Ousmane Dieng to make sure they got Jalen Williams at 12 with their pick because the cavs were looking to trade up as well to draft him. They didn’t wanna pick Jalen Williams with the 11 bc the trade might not go through
Keagan Murray
Reminder:
Jalen WIlliams #8 - J Dub
Jaylin Williams #6 - J Will
Highkey rooting for OKC to take Auburn Jaylin Williams in the draft next year.
Auburn Jaylin Williams was in this year's draft. He got signed as an undrafted free agent by the Nuggets.
@@coreydemoss4781 Ah makes sense. All I'll say now is that OKC has a lot of second round picks at their disposal.
People forgot about Mathurin because of Indiana's PO performances. But peoplen also forget prior the PO run, Indiana's FO clearly showed their trust in Mathurin, by clearing his spot to make sure he will have sufficient game time to shine.
Andrew Nemhard is the steal of this draft hands down.
They prob wanted Paolo the whole time and were tryna get Houston to trade up for jabari
Not really we actually wanted Paolo and our front office and everybody else including Paolo thought he was going to drop to 3. But the Magic at the last minute decided to take him number one which caused us to pick Jabari
It was the right move on their part they needed a number one option that can get a bucket.
Dude this draft was deeeep
Orlando did not "ChAngE tHeiR MinDz" LOL. Orlando had Banchero at 1 all time.
That’s not true. He didn’t even have a predraft work out for Orlando.
@@mattnoonan6519what’s your proof? Even Woj said they didn’t know who was the first pick until the last minute. Do you have more sources than Woj?
He thinks he knows better
"speaking of weird" my boy sochan catcing a stray 😂
Stray? That was right down the light to the nose
I'm glad Magic went for Banchero rather than Jabari Smith. Jabari always felt like a 6'11 Klay Thompson rather than an actual franchise player like Paolo. Both went to franchises that fit them
Ivy made no sense to the Kings but it seemed like people would have gave up assets to move up to 4
I still don't understand how Keegan was hated on. He literally said everything you would want and modern day wing
Simple this channel is clueless
I was waiting for this video😅
Orlando made the right choice and in turn won the draft
I swear the GM in OKC know how to found talent in the draft and through draft
SGA, J.Will, KD, Westbrook, Harden, Chet, ibaka, etc
THREEGAN MURRAY!
Seems like nearly every year that Detroit drafts a guy top 5 who is very athletic but doesn't shoot great and is in a terrible place for development. Ivey is just one of 3 or 4 of those guys.
With Bron getting older i gotta find another guy.
the Mathurin take is so fucking weird to me, why do you think he’s on the outside looking in when he was a crucial part of the pacers in the first half??? Nembhard really stepped up especially down the stretch but i don’t see how Mathurin will be “forgotten” as it seems like he’s the 2 going forward. There aren’t that many guards on the roster.
Ain't no way you said Malaki Branham is legit. Dude was one of the worst players in the NBA last year
Yet another bad pick by Brian Wright. Have some people who praise the guy for everything. Yet his track record is terrible.

Shaedon will be a breakout player for sure
Still not sold on Sharpe, especially with 2 many young shooters in team with bad % and huge TO. Not environment for development, they need older guy who can bring flow of the ball, like SA did now with CP3
I'm still holding out hope for Peyton Watson, though his 3P% was not good last year.
Is the C not pronounced in Sochan? (Genuine question)
No way bro disrespected G-League legend Ousmane Dieng

Chet played all 82 games last season… he’ll be just fine from a durability stance
Jabari Smith jr been disappointing
No. 16 the Hawks took AJ Griffin, you forgot about him
Christian Braun shot 38% from 3 last season
Also played serious minutes on a title-winning team as a rookie, super unusual
Magic should have made like Boston and traded back to three

Kevin Durant like?
You people are insane..
Why does Tucker hate Indiana? Mathurin has been so good for Indiana and clearly has allstar potential but he’s a forgotten man?
Also Rick loves having two ball handlers which puts Nembhard at a huge advantage for starting. If you watched the playoffs you'd know how bad Indiana missed him when they just needed some self-made buckets.
@@emmettvb I definitely watch their games, literally choked in the Play-in tournament. Just cope harder, he definitely wasn't about to take over 😂. how about pick 50-58
Jaden Ivey needs to be a pg he isn’t a sg
Johnny Davis was genuinely given up on after one season pretty much, Walker Kessler is a DPOY level player already, Peyton Watson won't flourish in Denver but is a great defensive player, Nembhard is the steal of the draft, Jaden Hardy went to a really bad situation in Dallas for him but he still has a lot of potential. Nembhard is the one player in the second round with the most potential. Seeing what he did without Haliburton in the playoffs against Boston tells me that if he was the point guard on his own team, he'd be averaging like 18 and 7 on good efficiency. Nembhard literally has all star potential and I would love to see him be on his own team
He is a dpoy level player, he just needs to actually play more minutes. But yeah, Nembhard should be traded and if he does get traded, he’ll be an all star
- Johnny Davis is genuinely bad, and still got to play 50 games last season.
- IF Walker was DPOY ready, he wouldnt have only started 22 games. Who is he better than Defensively? Wemby, Chet, AD, JJJ, Mobley, Bam, Draymond, Giannis, Gobert

@@cheap272 What would be a better situation for Nembhard?
@@Shortballa11 my comment deleted before i was finished, but to sum it up, Johnny Davis played 12 minutes a game for 50 games behind Poole and Kispert, Kessler is a better interior defender than Giannis, Draymond, Mobley, JJJ, Bam and Chet(not a better perimeter defender, also Giannis isn't a great defender even though he won DPOY, like Smart), the best teams for Nembhard to breakout on in a lead guard role is the Spurs, Nets and Magic

@@jasonking971 A lot of it has to do with luck as well, Durant and Chet are built very similarly, Durant has had a pretty good career I would say.
@@MrWesleyton for sure, but he's like the exception. You can pick out a few....and it's a very few, that had long healthy careers. But like 80% of players 7ft with that frame.....didn't play long and dealt with injuries their whole short careers

I am sick of the Keegan Murray glazing. He's 25 years old and isn't even the third option on the Kings. Jaden Ivey is 20 and plays for the worst team in the nation.
Ivey is a way better overall player and prospect imo
