It does have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, so you can start it/stop it from your phone.

It DOES have Smart things connectivity. Also pairs to a Samsung Range Hood allowing the range hood to turn on automatically when the cooktop is turned on. This is a great feature.
