@ 4:18 what is the purpose of this I don't understand that part I was able to do it on a video I'm just trying see what it's for. Also, if i wanted to do more effects on one clip. Do I turn them into a fusion and layer the nodes accordingly and key frame them? Lol I'm trying to learn what these new artists want with all the different types of transitions. But I must say watching your videos I understand the lingo now lol
If you use a free runway account to rotoscope out your subject it will only export out at 720p. The step that you are referring to allows you to use that data from runway to mask out the same subject on a 1080 P clip giving you better definition.
@@djaxxvisuals lol yes ,I want to show it that way because a good chunk of my audience is using the free version of DaVinci. But yeah with magic Mask you can skip that part.
Yeah I stopped using magic mask in the color page as soon as the fusion version came out. Once I have a mask I tend to still render in place with an alpha background before doing a fx. Because when you get to doing too much infusion with magic mask it can lose the mass from time to time.
I was like... okay, let's see this stuff... then... ok, what the heck am I watching, then... oh gosh, this is some advanced editing thing, and then I just wanted to learn more and more! Thanks for the clear instructions!
Definitely one of the few showing useful effects In resolve. Thank you.
No problem. Spread the word
Awesome work man, love how you give clear concise instructions!
Thank you I appreciate it
Amazing! 👑
For those who don't have Davinci Resolve studio, how do we get around the parts where you used magic masking in this tutorial?
You can just use freeze frames or use runway ML. You also rotoscope manually but it will take time.
I'll use freeze frame in the next video for free users.
@@gsmixed 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Bruh. You cold with it.
I have watched a lot of fusion tutorials that havent really helped me, but watching your workflow in this video helped me understand

@@gsmixed ah. Ok. So I really don't have to do that since I can just roto scope with magic mask. Ok

@@gsmixed nice.
Appreciate that
So you have to use magic mask in fusion? When using it in the color page, soon as I make a transform the mask have to be tracked again.

@@gsmixed do you have a video you can point me to on the rendering out the alpha mask once you have it masked in fusion?
This was clean!! 🔥🔥
Can we use these type of effects for Theatre Movie ?? Please reply us
I don't see why not.
thank you!!
This is actually super useful
Straight!
Goat fashoo just subbed keep on teaching teach😎
Thanks and welcome to the squad
How did u learn ?did u read the manual or u already had experience in editing and vfx
I have never read the manual. I just manage the piece things together from other tutorials. And I applied what I know from premiere Pro.
Would you recommend rotoscope and say clone effect before or after color grading/correction ??
I do all my color grading at the end of my video.
@@gsmixed ok thanks bro
Sick tut man! Thanks!
No problem
We appreciate u bro!
Thank you I appreciate you y'all as well.

I still have more practice to do. But thanks for your demonstration 👊🏼
where i can found stoke video?
@@DigitizerBD which video?
Thank you!!!!
I'm going to do more effects from the same video.
@@gsmixed definitely appreciate your help.
@@gsmixed ok. Dumb question, that green screen. Where did you get it from.
The green screen comes from rotoscoping the subject out using runway ML.
If you're not using runway ML you don't have to worry about it.
Don't mean to step on your toes, but a guy created a magic mask plugin that allows you rotoscope in the edit tab
Yeah that easy to do some of the functionality is limited by the edit page though.
It also will still only working studio.
We want Zach king magic effect in davinci resolve 🙏
Oh wow that’s a tall order. Ill see what I can do. lol
It's a pity that the video has no subtitles.😂
check the video now the subtitles should be working now.
that was clear explained thx bro👍
No problem
