How can I get a business email 1st to sign in with Shopify? I would like to purchase a domain with Shopify. Lastly with Forwarding email in shopify do I have to connect those emails in gmail workspace for the emails to work?
Hey! You can sign up with any email and then change the email and domain later inside Shopify. You do if you want to be able to send with the forwarding email.

Hey Peter, You can use Shopify to list and sell domain names if you like. The other alternative would be creating a WordPress site and using Woocommerce. Shopify would offer less technical barriers for sure.

Hi Stewart, I just bought a new domain on Shopify, but it doesn't work for customers publicly. After purchasing the new domain on Shopify, I encountered multiple issues: Error fetching domain CAA record. Error fetching domain CNAME record. Error fetching domain DNSSEC record. Error fetching a domain nameserver record So, Do I wait 48 hours to let the system automatically set everything up, or will I do something else manually?
Hey mate, It should be automatically connected. Make sure you choose your new domain as your primary domain name. If you still have issues after 24 hours, I would get in touch with Shopify.

And several "error fetching domain" error codes. Is that due to it just getting bought, and will clear naturally? Couldn't find a help desk option. It's also a holiday weekend here in the states so I'm curious if it's due to that? Any help is super appreciated!
