Fantastic tutorial as always! best sewing channel ever! Just a question, I can't understand the seam allowance along the diagonal seam (the opening of the pocket), why do you have that sort of "tooth" sticking out? Thank you
I know when I'm looking on RUclips for a sewing tutorial I can always find it done correctly on you channel, so glad I subscribed. Atelier, I do have a question. I have seen this in several of your videos where you use a small strip of material under the presser foot when your're sewing close to the edge, why is that.
This tape (hard interfacing) and PP strap we use are in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful. Thank you so much !!
Jai Swaminarayan Hello sir, I am watching your every video and learn lots of things. B'coz i am tailor. Now my request to you that can you post video about shirt and trousers cutting ????please
hey, please help me on a few questions. What is the purpose of the "thing" that you attached on presser foot? And also, what is the use of the "white strip of fabric" that you put under the presser foot?
Please tell us which time part of this video you ask about "thing". (EX 5:45) This white strip is a plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height. Without it, it will be difficult to stitch stably in areas where there are many overlapping pieces of fabric. This is also useful for straight guide line. Thank you.
@@ateliersaison super thank yooouuu for the quick reply. It is the thing at 2:12, you remove it before sewing (but I figured out that was for seam guide in another video of yours)

What type of material do you use for the pocket lining on this pants?
It is cotton sheeting. Thank you.
Hi! I’d like to know What is the strap of white fabric you use under the sewing foot for?
