The only place I heard this band was on WUSB, Stony Brook University's radio station.
College radio can be weird... and that's a good thing.

How the hell am I only just now hearing this song?
I think it comes down to S.P.O.C.K being an obscure Swedish synth band from 1988 who made mostly Star Trek inspired music, and played in very small venues. XD
Most Swedes don't even know about the existence of S.P.O.C.K, not even back in the 90's. XD

the best songs, are often repetitive, but have something very rythmic and drawing the person into it. thats why all the best songs, are remembered. due to their repetitiveness

I like SPOCK (wouldn't have checked this site out otherwise), but how can one claim that band to be Swedens "biggest" music export???
If somebody loves that band he might claim it is Swedens "best" export, but it is no way the biggest!
Ace of Base is definitively bigger,
Roxette is definitively even bigger,
ABBA ist beyond any doubt the by far biggest!
There is no chance of arguing against it.
It's a cult electroband nowadays, but they aren't the best singers ;)
