Thank you for this! I'm currently working as an intern at an elementary school with a pretty good amount of D/HOH students. I feel so bad since I work with the younger kids and I can't help them during lunchtime. Will continue looking through your videos for more basic signs that I can learn!
I was at my local corner store and met a deaf cashier, i could sign good morning, how are you, im happy and nice to meet you see you later. But in the middle of that conversation i realized i didnt know how to sign my name and im honestly kind of relieved they didnt ask 😅😅
Thank you for making these, im deaf in one ear but I was never taught how to read or sign ASL and I feel like it would be a important skill for me and your videos are a great resource!
I'm also deaf in one ear. I also feel the same way. Once I'm older I know it will be more difficult to hear so that's why I'm learning now.. Good luck..
I watch just started watching your videos because there’s a new girl in my gym class who is deaf, and I wanna be friends with her. Your videos have helped so much!❤
This video was very helpful. I’m so glad I found this channel, I am a counselor at a homeless ministry and earlier this week we took in a def/mute client so I decided to finally learn ASL to help us communicate more easily. I’ve been wanting to learn for years anyway as I am almost completely def myself so this channel is externally useful for me in the long term
Hii I wanted to learn asl for a long time we had asl subjects in our our younger classes like grade 7 and 6 Idk I think it’s really fun and interesting learning sign language I want to help others and just sign and teach others how cool and informative it is I have been having conversations with myself in sign language I look in the mirror and pretend I’m talking to someone it’s quite fun
Ok this was fun and easy to learn, I live in Mexico and I'm learning MSL (Mexican Sign Language) and some letters are the same sign as in ASL, some are easier in MSL and some in ASL, it's great to learn.
This was so helpful!! After watching the quick review a couple of times, I was able to understand the quiz!! I know this is literally the basics, but I feel happy and motivated to learn more!!
I love your videos, I am taking ASL currently and they have been super helpful. I love the professionalism and softness you teach with. Also love your style, very professional and cute. You should post a link to where you got your outfits.
Hi everyone. I'm a uganda sign language interpreter and I'm learning ASL. our words looks similar though, they have varying meanings. I would wish one day to make it to America and learn more about the ASL😊

I have arthritis in my hands it gets worse in winter. I can make most signs but I can’t finger spell some letters. I wonder what deaf people w arthritis do. Perhaps they just do the best they can and people read their lips. Or maybe I practice and my hands will eventually be able to finger spell.

I'm only doing this for fun, and it is very much so.
By enrolling in classes after each class I will receive a certificate?
Why is this not offered as a language course at most schools?
Where can I find skill share and how can I do 10 day free trial?
Hello Meredith, Thank you for this video. FALL INTENSIVE, LHTS ACCELERATED DIFFERENCE WHAT? What is the difference between the Fall Intensive course and the Learn How to Sign Accelerated course?
I am left handed so I sign with my left, is this a problem I should correct before I get too comfortable?
my name has an accent mark, does that matter when signing out names ?
Why people sometimes use 2 had for the alphabet?
