The health trolls and food shamers need to stuff off. I appreciate your food hauls. Food is expensive and you have had parties to do and your family to feed. I think for the price, you have done very well. All of my best.
When I worked at HEB many years ago the guys in the meat market told us not to buy pre-seasoned meat because it was meat that had expired and they seasoned it and re-wrapped it.
Miss Lue I used to work in the butcher block at a grocery store and I can confirm that when the meat is getting close to date, we season the crap out of it. Don't buy the seasoned meat!
Enjoyed watching your haul, hate to see the negative comments. People are so judgmental behind a keyboard. I like to get as much food shopping done at a time as well and pick up perishables when needed. When you have small children it makes life easier. Fellow Etsy shop owner here as well, people don't realize how busy our lives can be.
I normally don't comment, but you mentioned buying a large container of taco seasoning. Have you thought about making your own? It will be cheaper and I'm sure you will have all the spices already available. Plus you can control your sodium.....I make my own taco seasoning all the time...Pinterest. Enjoy the vids!
Its usually Chili Powder, Cumin, Smoked Paprika and Oregano (and salt and pepper). Thats what I use in mine and it turns out really good. For heat you can add Chipotle Chili powder. You can probably get those spices in big containers at Costco.
S LEW - was just going to say the same. I haven't bought packaged taco seasoning in years because making your own is so ridiculously easy. Happy New Year!
Honestly this is what a normal holiday haul of food I think would look like. Not only are you cooking like 3 meals a day for your family, but you have visitors dropping by. Christmas dinner, etc, etc. Plus the kids are out of school which means they're eating more. Anyways great haul.
Not sure if you know or are interested but H.E.B and Walmart price their soon to expire beef, pork, and poultry at reduced price early in the mornings everyday. That's usually how I stock up on my meat and have never had any problems. Hope this is helpful.
just a tip. u can get celery when it is on sale. wash and chop into small pieces and freeze in freezer bag. super easy for cooking and doesnt go bad so fast. just a tip.
Here in the Uk we recycle food waste , we put it in bio-disposable bags and then it's just rots and goes back into the earth 😉. Great haul enjoyed watching 😍.
Oh you are definitely not alone girl!!! I have a budget of 7 hundred a month. I love to cook along with my girls. My son has many allergies to food so we shop for him wisely. Don't listen to the haters, my family & I pretty much live on junk food. It's not healthy but we are fed.. I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas..
It's shocking as a European to watch these videos and see that home cooking means making something of processed food in the US. I don't want to be rude or something I'm just shocked. It looks like a life long prison.
+Twinkie yeah, it also depends on how much time the parents have to cook or who cooks in the family. In my house our food always has vegetables and our snacks are fruits and veggies. We rarely eat boxed food and never frozen, chips are also something we don't eat a lot.
Juvia Lockser: My diet is weird too :))) I've got diabetes so I've been eating only 1200 kcal / 150 g of carbs a day for 10 years (breakfast - snack - lunch - snack - dinner - snack). How to avoid overeating? I don't buy too much food or unhealthy food.
Twinkie: yes, you're right, a video doesn't represent how people live in a country. But I saw a lot of videos like this in the past two weeks and all of them were the same. It's a bit scary for me :)
Renee Anderson your not alone there, I love seeing her grocery hauls, I live in New Zealand and I like to see the different food you can buy, a lot is the same as what we can get, I have a lovely American grocery store in my city Auckland so I'm able to buy some of the food you have, it's always a real treat to visit.
I set aside a plastic bin, in my pantry leading up to the holidays, for all of my holiday baking items. It keeps them from getting lost, and you know, at a glance, what you have.
I LOVE these vlogs! I love seeing the different foods and prices. Your food is so much cheaper then here in Toronto. I'd reaaaally love to see some cooking videos to see how you utilize all this food :)
omg I have a confession to make I saw you with your family at HEB. ( You all were leaving, I was just getting there) I was so fanning out!! I didn't have the guts to go up to you and say hi. I didn't want to look like a creaper 😂 I've been a silent viewer for years- which is why I was fanning out! Btw great haul
+hkitty1122 yea but if you put it into perspective hosting two holiday nights and the convenience of getting prepackaged snacks for the kids (I have two girls myself so I totally get it lol :)) it's not to bad. I'm ashamed to even admit what we spend in a given week. I always screw myself going to the market midweek to pick up milk or bread, etc and end up dropping (again more than I care to admit)....but like I tell my husband we rarely go out, I do breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks for the kids and him too....sooooo - and I gotta admit I'm fairly new to these types of vids and so many moms do their holier than thou bit like if you don't do every single thing from scratch and don't toe their impossible standards of feeding their families of 2 adults and 3 kids two of whom are male teenagers only $20 a month and feed them only string beans and homemade bread your a bad mommy and wife....crazy the things I've encountered SO me personally think you did awesome and I'm refreshed to see something normal with normal food and on a incredible budget again especially factoring in two holidays. You did GREAT!!
You can cut up celery and freeze it for soups and stews. It keeps me from ever wasting celery. I do the same with onion and bell peppers. I'm always ready to make things like soup, meat loaf and stews with the chopped veg in the freezer
Most people want to complain about what some one eats and tell some one else how to live their life when they need to worrie about getting their life in order and think about what they eat that is not good and it's probable a lot. This lady is making 2 meals for a lot of people I'm assuming.
I didn't have to buy too much for the holidays because we didn't host anything. I think I spent around $75 extra on Christmas groceries maybe a little more of you count liquor. I love Aldi for basics, especially produce!
My weekly grocery bill is over 600.00. My large hauls happen once a year and it totals about 3000. But we live in the country so I only do sams, and aldi's once a year because it is such a long trip.
I love how neat and organized your pantry is, I wish mine was so neat and tidy. I love your videos. I live alone, my grandkids come visit a couple of times per week but I really haven't filled up my pantry since my husband passed several years ago, I like to joke that going grocery shopping is my hobby, so I go several times a week just to have something to do LoL. Treasure these days, I know they're exhausting, but they really fly by!! Happy Easter!
I have a very large pantry which turned into an office but I'm hoping to have it converted back to a pantry, I have no organizational skills so it was a crazy mess the first time around but seeing yours gave me some good ideas. My house is 87 years old but remodeled and still remodeling I don't know what the deal is with this bathroom size pantry, I'd trade you in a heart beat lolol!
my family of 3 has a food budget of about 250 a month for groceries but its all from scratch. nothing premade, nothing jarred, no boxes of blah blah....it defiantly does cost more to eat healthier.... but my sons never eaten garbage food .
Wow, you guys did so good only having to toss some celery and a few cucumbers! I have to get better about not wasting...that's the worst having to throw out food you paid for!
Awesome! I'm putting up my first Grocery Haul video ever today, it's fun to see what other people buy! a neat little peek into other people's lives! And you're so beautiful! Love the video!
Omgoodness 😱 I love, love this haul💕 I would love to shop like this more often because I don't care to constantly have to shop, but I don't the storage space like you do. You're very fortunate 🙏 for sure. I bet you guys had a wonderful holiday surrounded by all of this great food- made with love💕 Nothing brings people together like good folks, good food and good times 😋 thanks so much for sharing. Take care 👍
This is how folks did it back in the day. One big haul to last the month. Holidays are nothing but hell standing in long lines all day. I also like this idea of one big trip then hibernate for the winter. This could last forever thanks to freezers!
i'm 18 and pregnant lol and I just found your channel . soon to be moving into my first apartment and I can't wait to build a family and shop like this . this is a goal , like seriously .
When I freeze my scallions, peppers, green peppers and all those fruits and veggies they lasts forever so maybe if you freeze your celery and allat they won’t go bad
Lidl just recently had grand opening where im at, hopefully HEB will soon open as well...just curious how the food are compare with Trader Joe-Aldi-and Lidl.
No judgement from me. Looks like you got a great haul. I just found your vlog and it was really good. I do a huge grocery haul like that once every three months and around the holidays even more. My family is pretty big, two kids, and six nieces and nephews. I do the pre cut things as well. I just don't have time to spend cutting up all the prep stuff and I too hate when stuff gets stuck under my fingers. I'm glad I found you.
I just wanted to be a voice of reason i see alot of people on here hating whats on your island. So 1 i just lost 81 pounds and i do portion control 1 i do eat mostly the stuff i want as long as your eating mostly healthy you are fine most of the grocery expense is because of the holidays so i enjoy seeing this you do what you want sweety im pretty sure you cook very healthy i see a balance in there between bad and healthy i usually have to go to the food bank because times are tough r n but once things are better ill be shopping like this but you be yourself i enjoy this
That is a ton of food! Nice! How many kids do you have? We shop for 7! You just pulled up on our Related Videos! Thanks for sharing looking forward to more! --Danny / Tina
growing up my grandma always kept our kitchen well stocked just like you do. Now years later im finding myself trying to do the same thing. We are a family of 4 and although I really want my family to eat more fresh or frozen fruits and veggies, they like junk food. Our daughters are both teenagers and were raised having a healthy diet, but my hubby might have influenced them on there now eating habbits. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get them all back into the healthy eating
just so you know every night the ground beef and other meat from the butcher window that doesn't sell goes out for sale really cheap at night I believe at 9pm ever place could be different IDK but it's such good deal I usually buy it all lol but check out your store and ask the but her what time.
I would love to shop monthly but the more I buy, the more my girlfriend eats so I go weekly and absolutely hate it. Maybe I can try for every 2 weeks like I used to do when my girls were little.
MsSassyMT that's the problem I have with my kids. I go big shopping once a month. I had to start hiding some stuff so that they don't eat everything the week I buy it. it helps it last a bit longer.
Aimee Burch We get Chocolates and Cookies over the Christmas Holiday. My kids bring home all kind of junk from school. We limit them to one chocolate and a cookie or two a day. They are quick to open the pantry now. How do most people with more than two kids do it? My girls are 7&4.
BellRain Chan Uhh my mom used to just take if from me when I was small. plus we rarely have junk food at home just Chinese pastries and chinese new year snacks once a year, oh and she looked me in the eye and said " no " and I'll walk away with a pout :') crais
Panic! At The Fall Out Pity Party We used to have those to and everybody ate lots of processed snacks(when I was young)now they have peanut free snacks for kids. I have two girls and Dunkaroos just don't appeal to me.lol
I love haul videos...so thank you..one thing i noticed about your fridge is you keep your milk on your door. milk should be inside your fridge where the temperature is consistent. having it on the door actually changes the taste and bacteria may form because you are pulling it open to a room temperature then back into a cold temperature. its probably hard considering the size of your haul and having to make everything fit.
I work at a HEB and omg, I see people on the Dailey, buying 2 full top to bottom baskets full , busting at the seams! There are really great deals, lots of buy one thing get several things free. Called combo loco! Plus the store brand is just as good and way cheaper! This would last me and my daughter about 6 months!
Where we shop, even the cheaper stores, the cut up meat for stir fry is so expensive! $6 I saw you got is great for a meal! I stock up when I can on meat and keep it all in the freezer :)
A year and a half late to watch this lol but I just found your videos. I have the same fridge and did the same thing with drinks on the bottom right. Love it that way. Totally not much freezer space using it that way but I make it work. Great haul
I’m not judging you at all, I don’t care what other people eat, I wouldn’t ever push what I eat on others, but It’s just sad this is what the “average American” grocery haul look’s like.. so many processed foods, and barely any fruit or vegetables. I don’t buy boxed pre made dinners, I would much rather cook everything on my own. It’s so much tastier and obviously healthier. But still a great video, I don’t like hating on others.. ❤️
Wow! that was a lot of food but I loved watching it. I'm just one person so I don't need nearly as much but I think you did great. This is my first time ever seeing you so may I ask how big is your family? I know some is for the holiday but I was just wondering. I thumbs up you and added. See you soon & Happy New year.
HEB have this fajita marinated pork or chicken that is so good no matter how I cook it. There snow crab sometimes sale for only 5.99/lbs. That's what I miss about not living in Texas anymore.
I got to a mecivan market for our meat as here its cheaper, we tend to buy multiple pounds of meat at once and freeze it as well so i have the guys package it in 1 lb packs so its all separate for meals :)
Thanks for sharing. You work very hard to support your family. I have three children and three grandchildren. It is not easy getting those meals on the table everyday. Don't stress out about not being able to meet everyone's needs. You are a dynamitic women and mother. Could you do a video on stocking away all your food? My stomach hurt with the thought of you having to put away all that food. I hope you have good quality help. Good luck.
I wish I had H.E.B in Massachusetts like I had in Texas. There are so many glorious ethnic choices, there. They have ingredients I have to go on to Amazon to order.
Someone from my Frugal Family Food Facebook group sent me a link to this video :) I don't know where HEB is located. Are you outside of the US? If you ever wanted to cut back on your grocery budget, I would be glad to help you.
"Holy Haul, Bat Man!" Hee Heeeeee!! I'm the same around the holidays, but then I'm also in a scramble to make sure nothing goes to waste. So, then I make a bunch of last minute dishes that I can freeze.....which saves a lot if $$$ during January/some of February.
I’ve always wondered... why do people put a bunch of bananas in a plastic produce bag? I’ve always used either reusable produce bags to cut down on single use plastic and waste but even so I never put a bunch of bananas in a bag. It just seems pointless because they are all stuck together in one unit. Same goes for other large, singular produce items like melons etc. Any thoughts? Lol
The health trolls and food shamers need to stuff off. I appreciate your food hauls. Food is expensive and you have had parties to do and your family to feed. I think for the price, you have done very well. All of my best.

Miss Lue just another reason to not eat meat..
Kim Love excellent recommendation!!!
Miss Lue Just buy
not pre-packaged meat
Miss Lue WTH?! That's terrible!
Enjoyed watching your haul, hate to see the negative comments. People are so judgmental behind a keyboard. Its usually Chili Powder, Cumin, Smoked Paprika and Oregano (and salt and pepper). Thats what I use in mine and it turns out really good. For heat you can add Chipotle Chili powder. You can probably get those spices in big containers at Costco.
S LEW I was going to comment the same thing! Haha. We go through taco seasoning so fast in our house!
S LEW wow thanks I will look into that
S LEW - was just going to say the same. I haven't bought packaged taco seasoning in years because making your own is so ridiculously easy. Happy New Year!

I would die if I had to find room for all those groceries, and I have a fairly large pantry! lol loved the haul.
Dana B lol yea it took me way too long!
Dana B ij
just a tip. u can get celery when it is on sale. wash and chop into small pieces and freeze in freezer bag. super easy for cooking and doesnt go bad so fast. just a tip.
What!!? That's so cheap! Here in Canada that would cost at least 1000$!
Wow!
brianna horen Same, in Australia it would easily be over $1000
Other places in the US too!! I live just outside of NYC and I don't even want to think of how much this would be :o
brianna horen yeah here in Jordan Alla that would be wayyy over 1000$
brianna horen Thier currency are bigger than your's and if it's in Malaysia it'll be 2000+ so it's the currency not how cheap
I think that's alot for $ 640!!! Great job!!!! love this vlog
Here in the Uk we recycle food waste , we put it in bio-disposable bags and then it's just rots and goes back into the earth 😉. Great haul enjoyed watching 😍.
Canada does as well
Oh you are definitely not alone girl!!!
Cheryl Poitra wow $700! This was so much for us I couldn't imagine doing it every month.
I love to watch your video.i would love to do a food haul.
It's shocking as a European to watch these videos and see that home cooking means making something of processed food in the US. I don't want to be rude or something I'm just shocked. It looks like a life long prison.
I am American and we don't eat most of that stuff. I think it varies a lot. The south tends to be the worst for food.
+Twinkie yeah, it also depends on how much time the parents have to cook or who cooks in the family. In my house our food always has vegetables and our snacks are fruits and veggies. We rarely eat boxed food and never frozen, chips are also something we don't eat a lot.
What kinds of food do you eat?
Juvia Lockser: My diet is weird too :))) I've got diabetes so I've been eating only 1200 kcal / 150 g of carbs a day for 10 years (breakfast - snack - lunch - snack - dinner - snack).
How to avoid overeating? I don't buy too much food or unhealthy food.
Twinkie: yes, you're right, a video doesn't represent how people live in a country. But I saw a lot of videos like this in the past two weeks and all of them were the same. It's a bit scary for me :)
I love your grocery hauls so much! Not going to lie I was so looking forward to this since seeing the sneak in your vlog.
Renee Anderson 😘
Renee Anderson your not alone there, I love seeing her grocery hauls, I live in New Zealand and I like to see the different food you can buy, a lot is the same as what we can get, I have a lovely American grocery store in my city Auckland so I'm able to buy some of the food you have, it's always a real treat to visit.
Shopping for food is not that bad, figuring out where to put all that stuff is the true headache. Nice haul. 😊
Just out of curiosity, do you have a 2nd refrigerator? Cause I couldn't imagine fitting all this in mine lmao
650 for a family of 5 is not bad really. Food is just expensive nowadays.
MsAnna4040 well and really that was a lot for the holidays too
I set aside a plastic bin, in my pantry leading up to the holidays, for all of my holiday baking items. It keeps them from getting lost, and you know, at a glance, what you have.
can you do a video on the 21 day fix. How it works and how you like it.
Emmylovesmakeup 21 day fix is good but u have to follow a meal plan .
I've watched you for about 5 years and this is my first time commenting. I just think you are so sweet and I love watching your grocery hauls 😄💖
I would probably die at the register if I saw that total lol
GuiltyOfFaceCrime lol I almost did!
+hkitty1122 yea but if you put it into perspective hosting two holiday nights and the convenience of getting prepackaged snacks for the kids (I have two girls myself so I totally get it lol :)) it's not to bad. I know right!
@Blueeyedjenn14 you're*
Purple Piano *ok
I bet your kids are in heaven when they open the fridge. I need to get my kitchen and pantry to be this stocked I would never leave the house lol
Can you do a video on how you keep your produce from going bad for a month? What do you freeze? How do you portion?
You can cut up celery and freeze it for soups and stews. It keeps me from ever wasting celery. I do the same with onion and bell peppers. I'm always ready to make things like soup, meat loaf and stews with the chopped veg in the freezer
so organized., like how you show everything.
I bet most of the people commenting on her food choices eat those same foods lol
Libby Cosner right
Hello Are you living in America?
Only americans eat like this
Most people want to complain about what some one eats and tell some one else how to live their life when they need to worrie about getting their life in order and think about what they eat that is not good and it's probable a lot. This lady is making 2 meals for a lot of people I'm assuming.
If you want your celery to last longer, wrap it in the foil and keep it in the fridge. In this case your celery always gonna be nice and crunchy👍✨
I didn't have to buy too much for the holidays because we didn't host anything. I think I spent around $75 extra on Christmas groceries maybe a little more of you count liquor. I love Aldi for basics, especially produce!
Finally a grocery haul I haven't watched yet!
Edit:shoot I just watched it. Time to watch pet hauls again
Your food choices are just fine. Your family is fed nutritiously and you're happy. That is ALL that matters. And yes, I , too, love your hauls.
I always look forward to ALL ur vlogs because your girls are amazing!! And I especially loveee your grocery hauls
mrsrichard2008 aw thank you!
I love watching these videos idk why I find it relaxing.
I would love to see you actually putting all this away 😘😘
My weekly grocery bill is over 600.00. My large hauls happen once a year and it totals about 3000. But we live in the country so I only do sams, and aldi's once a year because it is such a long trip.
I also put my grocery list in order by aisle of each store so I make one trip through the store and I am done.
I love how neat and organized your pantry is, I wish mine was so neat and tidy. I love your videos. I know, we could survive on that much crap for at least two months.
Wow, you guys did so good only having to toss some celery and a few cucumbers! I have to get better about not wasting...that's the worst having to throw out food you paid for!
I LOVE your pantry organization! Everything looks neat and you can see what you have.

This is how folks did it back in the day. One big haul to last the month. Holidays are nothing but hell standing in long lines all day. I also like this idea of one big trip then hibernate for the winter. This could last forever thanks to freezers!
I loveee to see Texan youtubers 😍❤️

Love watching your grocery hauls! I had to buy tons of holiday food as well so you are not alone.
I just layed down for a nap (yes I'm 23 and still nap🙊) and I got so excited when I saw this video :p
Tegan Powell lol nap while you can!
Tegan Powell I'm 23 and curled up in my bed watching hauls.

good on ya for scoring all that food and veg so happy for you and your whanau(family)love your haul and your channel ka-pai(well done).
It's so easy to make jalapeño poppers at home plus it's usually cheaper but having them pre-done is so nice :)
I just wanted to be a voice of reason i see alot of people on here hating whats on your island. How in the world did you store all of this? I can imagine that this was a crazy trip - the holiday ones always are!
That is a ton of food! Nice! How many kids do you have? We shop for 7! You just pulled up on our Related Videos! Thanks for sharing looking forward to more! --Danny / Tina
If you buy a large roast, you can cut up your own beef stew meat and trust me SAVES a TON! Just a suggestion! I learned that a long time ago! Lol
growing up my grandma always kept our kitchen well stocked just like you do.
I LOVE YOUR GROCERY HAULS!!!
Loved your haul! I love to grocery shop. Shipping for the house and the holiday is a lot of work. You organized everything so well.
Your fridge and pantry are so organized. I think I need to go clean mine now. :)
I love grocery hauls. This is my favorite!
Donna Schooley me too
I LOVED your haul!!!! And holy moly, you are soooooo organized!!!! Your "after" pantry is my DREAM pantry!!!!! ❤️ Blessings to you, mama!!!
My mom does this too every month at the end of the month she takes us shopping for what ever we want for the all next mount
I love watching grocery hauls, i personally like to go shopping once a week otherwise my fruit and veggies spoil.
I really enjoy watching these types of videos and especially when there is a lot of grocery
Love your hauls and your channel! Ver real and down to earth- thanks!! Happy new year!
A year and a half late to watch this lol but I just found your videos. I have the same fridge and did the same thing with drinks on the bottom right. Love it that way. Totally not much freezer space using it that way but I make it work. Great haul
just a tip, put in some paper towels with your spinach and celery it will keep much longer
In where I live (Qatar) 640$ is only for 2 weeks worth of groceries for 2 persons. Crazy expensive here!!!
I buy big countainers of garlic, onion, and seasoning salt. I love cooking with spice.
Very well organized pantry. I'm impressed!
I would also love to see what u eat in a day on the 21 day fix. I too am trying to eat healthier but sometimes get stumped. Tfs
Ceara Bostick but you did though 🙄
Processed foods will give anyone a sickness eventually
Ceara Bostick you ARE judging
Your fridge/pantry/freezer are well organised and so neat! Have just found your channel and subscribed, hello from Australia :)
Great haul! There's nothing wrong with what you bought, it's better than most I've seen on here, health & nutritious wise.
Today is lil sister birthday and granmom doing something cool, be glad for 5pm😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wow! that was a lot of food but I loved watching it.
I went to the store twice a day for a couple of days over the holiday. Lol. My pantry is empty now after the holidays. Need to stock back up!
Good luck.
I love buying in bulk or large quantities. Can't wait to have a family to fully stock our house like that lol.
Lol
I do the same
this was awesome to see all this american branded stuff as i'm from the UK and also what you can get for $640 compared to the UK :)
