Thanks bud, for making south African videos, for our conditions. I noticed that your input pipe from the storage tank, is pretty small. What is the rule around this? Im busy setting up a 1.1 KW Seakoo pump, with a 24liter pressure tank, and a pressure control switch. The input on the impeller is 1.25 inch, can I reduce the size from my tank to 1"? Also, the pressure control switch is set to start at 4 Bar. What should the bladder pressure in the pressure tank be? Thanks again. After this, Ill come chat to you about a filter system, Im close to Centurion.
Basically you just don't want a situation where the pump pulls a vacuum and get cavitation as it will damage the pump. We ran a 25mm pipe with lots of bends but didn't have any issues on any of the pumps. It is meant to be a non ideal situation. With your setup you want to check at what pressure the pump turns on. Then set the pressure on your tank when empty to about 0.2bar lower than that pressure point. On the 1" pipe, I am running my house on a 1.5kw pump and have about 2m and 6 bends from my tank to the pump and it works well.
Hi, Yes this was one of our first tests and we changed the shower heads for later tests as they were very high flow. It was a relatively in expensive shower head from the hardware store but i cant remember the brand as it was years ago.
I would redo the test, but unwind the extention lead completely The lead wound up like that is acting like a coil It will reduce the power to the pump Pump will draw more amps and have a reduced power Very important not to leave the extention lead coiled
The 0.75kW struggles to switch off so it churns away at low speed all day - even if I close the delivery valve. This after turning the pressure down to 3bar. It's been back to JoJo and is going back again. Very disappointed - it was an expensive piece of kit
That sounds like a faulty non-return valve. If you have corrosive water it could be rust from the pump that is making it not seal. I would disconnect it and see if you can clean the valve, it might solve the issue. Here is that pumps review if you want to see how it normally behaves: ruclips.net/video/-GL9Kt0NFJg/видео.html
thank you for the review, It would be great if you could also test the 0.75kw version of this pump to compare the performance.

Great video. Would the Jojo pump be no good if my ph was 6.1? The water only gets treated after its gone through thr booster pump. Thanks!
Hi, no it would corrode away quite quickly, rather have a look at one of the HMS pumps. We have reviews on them too.
Hi nice video, where can I get new pc board mine is blown
As it is a variable speed drive pump the board is quite expensive but email us at admin@filtershop.co.za then we can get you a price.
May i know what is the size, brand and model of the 3 shower heads that can deliver 840 lph each at 2 bar as shown at 6:55 min? Amazing.

@@FilterShopZa Many thanks. Pump replaced by Chamberlains. Great service
@@andrewvanzyl1935 Glad you got it sorted
Rubbish! Ours worked for a year. Costs more than a regular pump to replace motherboard. Don't buy it!
What happened to the motherboard? It would be good for us to know
Where do l get the pc board
Very noisy pump
For a VSD Pump Yes
@filtershopza is there a quieter pump available?
