Nice video, thanks. A lot of people think that the engine in the Polo is a de-tuned Golf GTI engine, but this is not the case! The Polo EA888 (same engine family as the Golf GTI) runs at a higher compression ratio of 11.6:1 and applies 'lean mixture' principle, which is good for fuel consumption (Miller-Zyklus). Not so good if you want to tune it. Of course, a tune to 250HP is no problem, but you cannot go to 300+ HP, like you can with a Golf GTI.
@@jimgrampsas8259 Some Chiptuners do offer TCU updates that e.g. increase RPM of the shifts, reduce shift times, increase LC RPM etc. But always do the combination of ECU and TCU tuning, as the DSG is 'King' and controls what the engine is allowed to do... If you only do the ECU tune, you may run into DSG clutch slipping issues etc.
Stage 2 polo gti can reach 270 at his max without big upgrades. But for daily driving i think 300 horsepower is overkill, unless you race alot or visite alot of trackdays and want to show off. Polo/golf gti standard are both fun for daily driving without spending insane amount of money at the gas station atleast without having it tuned.
There are tuners in germany who can get this engine over 320 hp stage 3. It's not impossible but yeah this engine is completely different than the other 2.0 tsi engines.
Um in den Sportmodus zu gelangen einfach Wahlhebel nach unten antippen, aber Vorsicht um in den normalen Drive Modus zurück wieder nach unten antippen. Um in andere Modis zugelangen Modustaste weiter drücken. Viel Spaß und Unfallfreies fahren wünscht selbst ein Polo GTI Fahrer.

Beyond 5000 rpm it won't go. You can measure and hear it. Its destricted. I think a stage 1 (just software) tuning will solve this. Power will go to approx. 250 bhp instead 200bhp without long term problems for the engine.
Problems wont happen but like this, theres less strain on the engine Not saying that this one is toooo insanely high performance anyway, its a good mix of reliability and power. But still.

Well... I didn't know they started selling the GTI version again. Probably because the ID cars are finally rolling out and thus, the 2.0 liter engine of the little Polo wouldn't pay such a big toll on the automakers' average CO2 emission of its fleet anymore.

7 speed arent able to handle the amount of toque plus horsepower thats why vw used the 6 speeds in there gti variants until the golf mk8 that has a 7 speed with wet clutches.

Die Dinger kannste in die Tonne kloppen. Die Verarbeitung bei Opel ist unterirdisch! Ich fahre privat nen Polo VI mit 115 ps. Der fährt besser, schneller und ist komfortabler.. Lange Rege kurzer Sinn. Solche Aussagen mit so einem Nick kann man nicht ernst nehmen xD

Schaut euch mal den Corsa E OPC an. Da ist der Polo nichts gegen. Bei dem GTI kannste ja nicht mal ESP ausschalten. GTI nennen und ESP nicht ausschaltbar machen gg :D

Spur halten ist schon schwierig 🙄 vielleicht solltest du wenn de es nett kannst langsamer Autos fahren oder es ganz lassen
