Also turns out I missed an avoidable kill in The Pig City with one of the Hamcuffs so the total is 1 less than I say at the end of the video. Well shoot.

31:47 The reason this happens is because near the end of the room, there's a Pizza Soldier that's misplaced into the floor. If the game detects that enemies are inside walls, it'll instakill them.
That... actually would be consistent with some of what I've seen trying to find optimizations in Crust Cove and Wasteyard. Fascinating.
when i was making Waterwave dungeon (with cyop) a pencer died cause it was inside a rat
Speaking of crust cove, I noticed that when the cannon ball hit the ground, it became grabbable

I just rewatched it and saw that if it hits a slope it doesn’t explode and becomes grabbable.
Somehow imagining Peppino having to keep the enemies out of harm's way makes his constantly miserable state even funnier.
Thanks for doing this, I've always been curious if a P for Pacifist run was possible. The music from UnderTale's Pacifist ending at the end was a very funny touch. Congration!

There are speedrun strats that let you avoid the Hamkuffs through kicking Brick, making the first and third ones the only forced deaths
This has been brought to my attention. Unfortunately, that same speedrun strat involves killing a pizza slug so you'd just be trading 1 life for another.
Now we know why gustavo's catchphrase is "i'm going to kill you"
with kindness!
The frustration Peppino feels along with the threat of Pizzaface, all while having to frantically pick enemies up and gently put them down to not hurt them.
This all sounds like an episode of Wander Over Yonder and now I want a mod with Wander doing this challenge.

I've been trying to work on this challenge concept since the sage demo days (often calling it "Pseudo-Pacifist" runs)
I'm surprised to see others go out of their ways to attempt an "less Fatalities as possible" runs
Suppose it's inevitable that the same idea can be shared by multiple people.

@@aRandomwacko You can still do this challenge tbh. Especially because it turns out I didn't optimize The Pig City as much as I thought I did with the second hamcuff being avoidable in the 5th taxi room.
there should be an ending where the enemies start appearing on peppino's pizzaria if you do the pacifist run in this game

The closest to recovery I could get is a installed 101%, im making up the pranks I didint do for it

That text thing happened bcs pizza tower stores text values outside of main game archive, in a separate text file for translation purposes. Modders usually just edit the file and after installing the mod it overrides the original text file and it may persist even after mod's disabled.
You can fix it with steam's file validation thing

Surprisingly, no. Enemies you fight in boss battles don't count towards the total.
Infinitely-(re)spawning enemies dont count toward combos

A complete 180 from the challenge I did which was to kill every enemy in every levels (which is possible..! with a few extra rules)

The only obligatory enemies are all Pillars, stupid rats and Bosses, but we all know gameplay will force us to kill more enemies

Actually in the pigcity you can skip the second police officer that kidnaps brick by precisely jumping over him so that the screen doesnt scroll down enough for him to be visible
Do you mind showing any proof of this? Because even if you do jump over the hamcuff at first, gravity will send you plummeting down in his range from my testing.
@@PhantomAarantula I just found out that you can skip the second hamcuff but that requires jumping on top of another enemy so either way you would get an enemy kill so it doesn’t matter

So, like Gustavo and Mr. Stick are the Grim Reaper's, and Peppino is trying to prevent some enemies' deaths.
Good job, but I think that potato farmer on fun farm can be saved by grabbing him before pizza time. To do this just super jump, shoulder bash in its direction, and uppercut right above him to not kill him, and then take him off the ledge.
Enemies respawn at a set point when you leave the room so he'd appear back up where you first found him. If that was possible, there would be plenty of other areas where that'd be effective due to certain enemy spawns during Pizza Time.

Using mods to bring bosses to normal rooms, there's 1 combo per phase (excluding gun and maybe pizzaface? idk he just crashes the game) so that's +6.
If someone other than pepino kills an enemy it doesn't count, also the bosses don't die
If you were trying to go into secrets, then the kills you would get don't count, just like when you don't get all the cards in the secrets in the fastfood salon, it still doesn't count you not getting all the cards. Thus, negating a certain percentage. Well, if you actually went to any secrets.
I don't remember what this could be addressing, but the secrets I did visit had no enemies be forced to be killed.

As of a recent update, Don’t Make a Sound no longer counts Toppin Monsters or Pirahnapples as kills as they no longer add to your combo. This should make Don’t make a Sound’s pacifist run easier. Inversely, though, Oh Shit! has an additional two rats that need to be killed.
We can, however, save a bunch of kills by… skipping the entirety of floor 5’s levels bar TCTOP.

Bro just don’t count the kills you don’t do and don’t count John because You HAVE to kill them, same with the stupid rats
Not sure if this is relevant because i don't think you counted all the pizzaface kills towards the counter, but there's actually a new glitch that was recently discovered that allows you to skip the whole final boss fight. This can be activated by doing lap 2 in war (since it allows you to grab) and throwing an enemy into a war terminal while exiting the level. Since enemy kills are still processed while Peppino exits the level, the war terminal gets broken, giving you 30 seconds while in the overworld. From there you can buy the pizzaface bossgate, enter it, and drop down to the first floor before dying. Since the death counts as a death in the crumbling tower but not really, you respawn out of bounds on floor 5, which lets you enter the control room on the left, and start the crumbling tower of pizza for real. I reccomend checking out the newest pizza tower any% world record to see it in action as it is a very cool skip.
Fascinating. If boss enemies counted towards the total, this likely would reduce the final total a lot. But it wouldn't with the rules this challenge played by.

Sounds like it'd be more complicated than just miserable. You'd have to math out the minimum required kills to P-Rank every level which could easily drive anyone insane.
