    Traveling alone would seem like climbing a mountain. It's an incredible challenge to accomplish, and shows how determination can bring one to a place inside oneself that he or she didn't know had existed before. That I think is the real destination in traveling. Great content! Aside from Bourdain I hadn't heard of the others experiences, especially Henry Rollins' traveling to Africa.

    Completely fictitious, but Around the World in 80 Days made young me want to travel. Along with A Moveable Feast about Paris in the 1920s.
