I don’t even play the game anymore, but it’s always interesting to see how optimized a game could get under certain conditions. This is why I love watching these, as well as all the different approaches

Yeah that’s different. There’s regular miniturbos that you get from drifting long enough and there’s standstill miniturbos that you get for charging a boost while sitting still for long enough. The rulings were no blue miniturbos out of drifts and standstill ones weren’t counted in that.

Released on purpose, the rules of the task were that only SMTS were allowed, so they hit the brakes to prevent actually getting the boost from the MT.
