Funniest part is that his "new meta" strat doesn't work for him either. He has a 48% WR on teemo over 411 games, he keeps up the facade by playing other champs in legitimate positions.

Edit: forgot to mention how big of a difference is playing a champ in a role it is legitimate in (Poppy jungle currently has a 50.44% wr according to op.gg) and having low success, and judging only wihh winrate on less than 100 games, and actively playing something that hinders your teammates for 400+ games. But I guess that goes over everyone's head.
This reminds me of that Singed from the Lolhounds video who got suspended for playing support singed and roaming in the enemy jg. If Rito is so against these kinds of strategies they should at least come out and say it or give people a warning. He was clearly trying to win.

Hell top tower even has resistances which prevent 2v 1 cheese. Mid is shorter so you can't deny xp. Meanwhile you leave your adc who becomes underleveled and even dies once or twice-even if he doesn't he will still lose not only gold but xp. It surprises me how some people who support this guy are plat. Like even high silver players call this shit out.

3:57 What this Sudzzi guy said was on point. The thing about this "strat" is that he is not even talking to people what his game plan is and leave everyone confused when he suddenly shows on their lane and steals xp from them.
An issue with that line of thinking is hes playing a roam support. Which already exist. No one gets mad if a quin pops up to help push a lane in or get a kill. Its because hes playing teemo people get mad. There are alot of cheese comps that dont get reported with less success than what this guy is having. Also the amount of xp he soaks is nothing compared to the gold advantage you get by being able to free farm and keep your enemy off of cs entirely. Think about how he was playing the sylas mid vs aniva. He just completlt zoned her off of cs and probably some xp as well. He also has a good winrate. The issue is with a stagnant playerbase not being open to new things. And that same playerbase looking for ANY excuse to blame a game on someone else. Most league players these days act like they can only play the game if they are winning or if everyone picked the meta.

Nubrac definitely deserved the ban not because he was playing off meta strats like Funneling where both mid/jg have communication and have consent or Sona Taric where the same logic applies - both bot and support have consented to it.
What Nubrac did was completely different- he was straight up griefing/trolling his team mates since neither bot nor mid have consented to it. No one signs up to mid to play a duo lane and no one signs up to adc to play a solo lane. While NB3 handled the situation poorly, the nubrac ban is 100% reasonable. Regardless of his intentions of 'trying to win' he is deliberately trolling his other teammates, resulting in tilting them etc. This type of behaviour is literally what's wrong with league especially in low elo, as people troll/soft int yet maintain good mental, while others remote to going toxic/hostile towards that player.

The problem I have with nubrac is that he doesn't take into consideration for the other solo lanes, ditches bot lane that allows the enemy team to snowball and capitalize on bot, and claims he isn't trolling. Wood divison strategy if I've seen it.

Most high elo players dont dislike nubrac for the viability of his strategy, but more for his annoying playstyle.
The strategy isn’t even that effective, it forces the solo laners to adapt to the “teemo support” for that one game, shares exp with the laner, opens the lane for easier enemy jungler ganks, puts bot lane behind for his own self-satisfaction of a “working strategy”. Trying to justify a strategy that does not take into consideration of the team as a whole is ban worthy in it self.

That's actually such bullshit though, they blatantly lied in this post of theirs. He played the tactic in over 80% of his Teemo games with roughly 60% streamers 40% not but they don't also acknowledge the fact that he's IN THEIR RANK with only 0.05% of the playerbase being grandmaster getting queued into each other when they also all stream at the same time is VERY likely. The only reason he got banned wasn't because of him "trolling" or whatever they claim but because nightblue3 went and got a rioter to ban him and now they're trying to cover up backlash by saying he was going to get banned for trolling and try to tell people it wasn't just because a high profile wanted him gone.

Some people here defend the teemo strat by using the argument that nb3 abuses his connections with riot. Yes, what nb3 did is abuse and he is also toxic in that game but that doesn't mean that this teemo mid support strat is viable.

This strat of his has a 50%+ win rate at a high MMR, what is your definition of viable? The complete inflexibility of LoL and its developer's heavy handedness in forcing a specific meta is exactly why I ditched LoL for Dota a long time ago.

Using teemo stealth passive to cheese a lane is fine. If you do it right it should lead to a free kill and get your laner ahead.
Whats not okay is failing the cheese then staying in that lane soaking up XP from the solo-laner putting them behind while letting your adc get ruined 2v1 bot. now you singlehandedly put 2 lanes behind at the start of every game.

@@juanfranco2008 Solo laners scale with xp, and it's a much shorter lane, so you won't zone the enemy out of xp range unless they suck, while the enemy bot has perma prio and their support can just start roaming mid and nullify whatever lead that you had. You're literally trading dragons, your bot lane and gimping your mid laner so that the enemy mid is set behind in gold.
@@Cristian-kg2gp I am not saying is an optimal strategy, there is a reason the meta is how it is today. But i dont think is as bad as people paint it to be. People just dont like to do new stuff. There is also the factor of your opponent not knowing how to play against suboptimal strategies that should be taken into account. Else there would be no way this guy has 51% win rate
@@juanfranco2008 He doesn't have a 51% win rate strategy with this strat. He played mostly Leona Sup and Teemo Top to get where he is and then griefed some games.
The point is that the strat is suboptimal, feels like shit to play and if you don't notify your teammates you're basically holding them hostages in the lobby.
