Hey. Sorry about the signal going out at the end. All Jr was talking about was Oliver’s leg is all better and then he started talking about his build and hoofs. He is built more like the old style Clydesdales and has really good hoofs, and hopefully all this will pass to his foals. Thanks for coming along for the live today! Hope you all enjoyed!
You did & always do a great job with your horses! ( just a small aside... it's "hooves"{"f" turns to "ves", just like Knife, Wife!}😉😘🤗🤗 for plural, not just add "s"! 🤭🥰) Love Your Channel!! Started watching just when you found Oliver!❤ Keep up the great work! I've always wanted a horse, but raised "active duty AF", so no Santa bringing me one under a Tree!!😂☺😉.. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁🎀
So happy to hear that Oliver's leg is all better. As for the rude comment---this being the internet---man, I am SO happy you just spoke your truth and stand your ground. I'm pretty tired of hysterical people yammering out of their butts, being parrots about things they do not know about from experience.
Thank you for sharing JR and Em. I always love watching your lives and videos, very much look forward to seeing them. One of these days I’m actually going to catch a live, actually live, while you’re filming.🤣 I’m an Aussie living in Australia, so of course, it’s usually late at night, or very early morning when your lives are on, but being holidays at the moment, I’m hopeful.🤣🤷🏼♀️ I really respect and absolutely love your knowledge and everything you do with all of your horses JR. I have learnt so much, between yourself and two other of my favourite channels. So thank you so so much for that. ♥️🥰 As for anybody who is nasty or negative, obviously they’ve not heard the saying that if you don’t have anything nice, or good to say, then say nothing at all. Very simple really and these people also don’t have to watch either. Certainly don’t need to comment. I 100% understand and agree with everything you’re doing and saying about why you also breed. As you mentioned, you certainly do also help horses in need, Oliver was another one. People need to understand that if there are horses, or any animal for that matter, who are incredibly gentle naturally and don’t have any congenital conditions etc, then there will most likely be a lot less horses that will need to be rescued. It’s simply a fact. Of course there will always be animals that their families have run into some type of trouble and can’t keep those animals anymore, but generally speaking, well bred animals will always fare better than not. That’s certainly not taking away from all of the gorgeous, sweet horses who need to be rescued. I’m sure most people in the world would love to save as many horses and animals as possible but it’s just not realistic. Anyway I could go on and on but I won’t. I just wanted to let you know that there are many of us , with possibly one, or a small handful of people who don’t, most definitely agree with you and are 100% behind everything you do for and with your horses. Of course the breeds of these beautiful horses also. Sending love and blessings from Victoria, Australia♥️♥️♥️
Hi from the UK fingers crossed for Beauty’s appointment on Monday, I have recently found your channel and want to say what a pleasure it is to see yourself, family and wonderful farm (homestead).
Always follow your utubes but a little surprised at your reply to my comment regarding the sale of your qh mare. It is not often I would be commenting on an owners choice to sell but she was a great little mare in my humble opinion I was surprised by your reply and intensity guess I expected a little less information verging on criticism, hope your were just having bad day, and not quite as Strong in your reply,my thoughts only,
Jr. I have learned so so much from watching your Videos. I really appreciate & enjoy your Knowledge about Fox Trotters, and the love and Care, for all your Animals, you and your Family show us. Thank you so very much ❤.
Oliver watches every move JR makes & listens to every word he's saying❣️💯🐎🥰 When JR said Oliver's name his ears perked up❣️🐎💯🥰 Oliver Loves JR so very much❣️🐎💯❤️🥰
I think it’s so cute seeing Oliver be so stud-like. I know it probably shouldn’t be, but he’s grown up to be so healthy, and handsome. Makes my heart smile! ❤❤❤
Well that's true, but if you put yourself out there and you give an opinion, you have to be prepared that other people also have an opinion and it might not be a sycophantic rah rah rah. Doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. People just have a different opinions sometimes.
Anyone who is a regular to your channel knows that you are good caring people and love your animals. Thanks for inviting that viewer that tried to cast a dispersion on your breeding practices to take a hike. 😊
The way you explain genetics/breeds/how horses think/training brings it altogether so I understand how it all has to click together to make a good horse and rider. This video was very interesting and taking the time to instruct the man in Colorado about how to ride/communicate with his new horse was very good.
Back in 1969 I got a horse for my 16th birthday. We lived in Mass. So the horse I got a chestnut horse. He had the running walk. He and I trail rode all the time. We and all our neighbors + 4 H could not figure out what his breed was. Guess were Morgan or quarter horse mix maybe. The horse broker we got him from didn’t know either. After watching your channel(I subscribed). It turns out he was a Missouri Fox Trotter. And I have to say BEST HORSE!!!! We won 2 of the 3 classes. Endurance and I no longer remember the second one. My parents told me I actually won all three but they (4H) didn’t want to make everyone sad. But if I could have another horse Missouri Fox Trotter all the way. BEST HORSE EVER!!! ❤
You are NOT a puppy mill. I LOVE the education you give us in every video! If people have eyes, and common sense, they can see how wonderful your family truly is!!❤❤❤
SO HAPPY that ya'll FINALLY GOT JR A MIC!!! :) YEA!!! Hope Luna is STILL progressing!! Can't WAIT to see THIS TEAM!! THANKS, EMERI & JR for ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!! This will be a learning experience for JR & the LOVELY HORSES!!! HUGS to ALL!!
JR nothing that I have seen on any of your videos is boring! I learn something from each one of them on a wide range of subjects and their particulars. If this did not happen, I would not still be on your channel but here I am.😁
I love this video. You are one heck of a horse keeper and trainer. Don't mind those that compare your breeding program to a puppy mill. God bless you and your wonderful family!
Shows the puppy mill comment was someone who is new to your channel - the amount of care & love you give to your breeding programme is so far from the poor overbred bitches & pups who are bred purely for profit. There is a big difference running a commercial horse farm with your high standards. No way like a puppy farm. 🤣
Armchair, quarterback, youre too funny! Good one,, thanks for the laugh. I needed that. Tell the haters leave the channel. We're ❤ & light over here honey! Champ is doing fabulous and has grown to be a handsome stallion! He'll be perfect!
Hey guys don't listen to anyone who says you're like a puppy farm. They obviously do not have a clue what you are doing for these dwindling breeds. The fact you are helping raise awareness will hopefully teach them. I love that you are helping conserve Clydesdales ❤
JR, you are one horse trainer who goes out of his way to explain training techniques so we can all understand. There's many ways of training any animal any you just need to understand the critter to realize what procedure will have the best effect. I trained dogs for many many years and you have taught me things that can be used working with canines also. Your calm personality and way of interacting with animals makes you a wonderful trainer. All the best to, your family and all the critters in your life. By the way, i especially enkoyed your videos of taking Fancy to her new family and teaching them all about her and how to understand s Missouri Fox Trotter. Bye for now. ❤ 🐎 🐎 🐴 🦮
I also noticed that when you say their name - they react with recognition 👍 !! Seeing the boys trying to play was really cute 🥰. But I think Oliver was thinking that he was “ all dressed up with no where to go “ 😳🤣 ❤❤❤
I am one of the thousands who found your channel when you rescued Oliver. What a path he has taken you all on. God bless you, Rosa’s!! Your friend from NW Mo!!
I love you all and what you do to help your animals! I am coming from a human perspective, retired nurse. We were always taught with thrush, yeast or canker you want to avoid dark and moist environments!! I've shared an alternative in patron and I hope you might give it a try on Luna!!
I am so impressed with your knowledge and compassionate treatment of your horses. I can say that Oliver looks magnificent. I remember the first time you showed him when you were contemplating buying him He truly looked defeated, withdrawn. Now, he is a healthy strong stallion. God blessed you with that insight to rescue and heal Oliver. Thank you and your family for their dedication to good Horsemanship. Love u all.
JR and family, you just keep doing you! You are all doing a great job, and making a difference in every horse you own and train. Not too mention the lives you’re impacting by having this channel. Don’t listen to anything negative, it’s not worth any energy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sorry I missed the live, but really enjoyed seeing this video. Couldn't help but notice how long Champ's tail has grown... Love it. Glad to hear that Oliver's leg is doing much better. Also took notice of how well Oliver and Beauty behaved while you were working with Champ. Love your videos! God Bless ❤️🙏🙂🐴
Overjoyed that Oliver’s leg is ALL better. 😊. Happy. Beauty is gorgeous. I cannot wait for Beauty to get pregnant. And the M Foxtrotter is by far the most adorable. You guys are amazing for horses training and I just love what you do! ❤❤❤
Don't apologize for being "boring"! To some who only ride and are not interested in Harness I guess they can just be bored. On the other hand, there just might be people on here who are interested and are at step ONE in learning about it. To those, the videos that you make showing YOUR OWN learning curve, will be learning along with you! I think about the many auctions that Shae of FSE takes us to, many of the Amish trained horses of all breeds , even the ponies, are said to be trained to ride and drive as well. So, there may be more people buying these horses and ponies at these auctions because they want to expand the fun of owning their horses. I get a kick watching the young Amish kids driving their ponies and the teens driving crossbreeds and drafts.
Do you ever bring Bob into the paddock to visit with your family. He has to be lonesome out by himself all day. ❤I would love to see him groomed. Bob is absolutely the prettiest horse.
Bob's stud services are being used at another farm. That is where he is currently being kept and is far from alone and lonely. I do miss him and look forward to him coming home!
Thank you for this informative video. Oliver is maturing beautifully; I thank you and all those who assisted with his purchase, for bringing him into your family. 45:43 Inherited behaviour. I had four young horses, two colts and two fillies, of a breed that is known for its calmness, trainability, and good nature. They were out of four unrelated mares and by the same stallion. Of those four babies, only one turned out to be a steady, level-headed horse that I would trust with a child or someone inexperienced with horses. Her dam turned out to be my top broodmare and I credit her for her filly's relaxed nature and trainability. The other three were, and still are, highly reactive - which is unusual for the breed. Watching them, one would get the impression that they had been mistreated somewhere in their youth- which they had not. The colts were gelded. When she was old enough to be bred, the third horse, now a mare, was bred to a steady and level-headed stallion, and she produced a filly that was almost as flighty as her. I did a lot of research and discovered that a high number of the horses that came from this one stallion are reactive and unpredictable, and therefore can be dangerous to work with. I have bred the mare that I kept and, her foals have all been absolute gems. My conclusion: this one stallion, the sire to four of my horses, creates highly reactive horses that, in my opinion, are unsuitable mounts for the average rider. It is all in the genes.
Loving the videos ❤ I was always taught if you do not have something nice to say don't say it at all.. ( to whom ever accuse them of being a puppy mill )
Watching replay ❤❤❤ 😊😊😊 Nope not a puppy meal. You treat your animals like kings and queens. You train your horses to become something useful. Praying 🙏 for Luna.
I love following your successes. I years ago, was given a Buckskin Mustang that my then mother-in-law had bought. She bought this one and another mare. She paid to have them green broke for us. I kept up with the training and riding the buckskin. She was about 2 years old when she was rounded up in Nevada and sold here in Oregon. I loved this horse. I was able to do anything with her. I did pleasure riding, trail riding and I did parades with her. I did a lot of riding with the local Wild Horse club. Everyone knew that she would do anything I asked her to do. She was incredible. When she matured, I was told she looked to have a quarter horse build. I sadly had to sell her as my in-laws where she was kept moved out of the area. I did not have the money to pay to board her. The first time I had her trimmed by a farrier, he told me to never put shoes on her as her feet were so good.
I have ridden the Missouri Fox Trotter when we lived in the States. We have lived in Peru for the last 20 years and I own a Peruvian Paso horse riding around the Mountain Quechua communities preaching the Gospel . Thank you for your video. Glory to God for His goodness !
I'm here! 9.45 am in New Zealand. It's a warm, sunny late spring day and I should be out spraying weeds yet here I am for a little time. while I have a coffee.
Great to see your horses are doing well and I wish you & your family Seasons Greetings ❣️❣️. Prayers for Ms. Luna, but understand that although she is "long in the tooth" she might still be completely healed. You all are to be commended for your high ethics when it comes to horses, breeding and care & training❣️❣️🐎🐎🐎. Thank You ❣️❣️❣️😊
We have a MFT mare and she is by far the best horse I’ve ever met. Personality is amazing. Handles trails well. The most comfortable to ride. My whole family has fallen in love with this breed (we had never heard of before we bought her).
Champ is such a natural beauty! Not only is lt great to watch his gaits when you are working him in the round pen, but when he is running and playing with Oliver in the field he is absolutely gorgeous! That flag of a tail is eye catching! I love his full of beans personality while also being so gentle! Soooooooo watchable!!
It’s so funny how Oliver has turned the farm into a Missouri fox AND Clydes ranch lol! He’s such a sweet boy! I can’t wait to see his first foal fingers crossed that beauty is pregnant! ❤
Love your lives Sometimes something goes wrong that is life. You are very real! People do not realize the work that goes into what you are doing. You are doing wonderful. Don’t let anyone talk you down. They can all take a hike
Just a videography tip when you are walking with a camera, especially without a gimbal, roll your feet when you step. Put your heel down first and your toe down last and just roll through the step and it will be a lot less jerky for the video. Such as when Champ is in the harness and walking out on the road. A rolled step would be a nice improvement to the video, especially on a livestream. Sound is great, Champ did great & fun new harnesses! Thanks for the video!
I finally got you on a live. Love it. I've been watching your channel for quite some time, and really enjoy all your escapades. Love Oliver, Classy, and Nattie. Watched when you attempted to buy Oliver and Nat. I agree that was GOD., the way it turned out. There's a few things we have in common, with time I will tell you . I love what the boys are doing right now. Just telling JR they're bored. They are so funny. Thanks for doing what you do.
I think you are doing a great job with your horses, you really care about them. Don’t take any notice of them they don’t know what they’re are talking about

I can’t afford anything else, but I can and alway do hit the like button.
Your comments help too. Thank you
Thank you for not letting Clydesdales and Missouri Fox Trotters die out. Both breeds are valuable.
So sad that there are only 5000 Clydesdales left in the world they are gorgeous powerful horses and I am so happy you kept Oliver a stallion. ❤
I love the tone of voice JR uses with the horses. Very calming. And I always enjoy learning more.
Wow, Champ has really grown & filled out.
I agree! He's very handsome---can't hardly wait to see him when he's totally grown up.
Hi from the UK fingers crossed for Beauty’s appointment on Monday, I have recently found your channel and want to say what a pleasure it is to see yourself, family and wonderful farm (homestead).
I love how Oliver and Champ gets along! It's nice to see horses having fun with each other! ❤😊
YEAH!! Jingle bells, wagon ride with Oliver, Emerie playing guitar and singing carols!!!! That made my day!! ❤❤
Always follow your utubes but a little surprised at your reply to my comment regarding the sale of your qh mare.

Champ is such a handsome young man 👍🙏❤️
Those two stallions are cute in a mischievous way! It was so interesting to watch you with Classy training her new owner.
❤️ Classy training her new owner 😍
@@edrabogucki401 Agreed!
JR is such a knowledgeable horseman that I love listening to him talk about the different breeds, breeding, and his training methods. Much respect.
You can tell that your horses love you and your family. Every time that you go down the road, they come running to the fence. 😊
I think it’s so cute seeing Oliver be so stud-like. I know it probably shouldn’t be, but he’s grown up to be so healthy, and handsome. Makes my heart smile! ❤❤❤
Champ sure does know where the treats come from! 😁
You could NEVER become "uninteresting"....just starting to listen and am excited for your news. God bless you all!!!!
Don’t let the negative comments get to you. People will always have opinions but you don’t have to take it to heart. Just let it go!
We're here! Microphone is working.
I watched most of those young horses be born❣️🐎❤️🥰 That's a Beautiful herd of horse's ❣️🐎🐎🐎❤️🥰
yess, the microwave works, chef!!! and your channel passed the 150 k subscribers mark, yay!!!
I alway hit the thumbs up button on your channel of only to express my approvals it also to keep track of what I have already viewed
Same, I hit the like button for every video I watch.

Morgan’s are part of the foundation breeding of MFTs and TWs.
Yes thumbs up for the mike. 5 star sound today. can't wait to hear the sound when you go to the vet on monday 😂

Those Clydesdales are so patient and well behaved! 😊❤
Listening to you brag on Missouri Foxtrotters always brings a smile to my face.
Darlin's markings are beautiful. Black in her foretop and tail plus black on her hocks. Very unusual and beautiful
Love to see video of Thomas, he must be growing up fast…. Donkeys are so cute!
Alright JR you about talked me into wanting to try out a foxtrotter 🤪… great video today! I didn’t ketch the live but watching to replay

My conclusion: this one stallion, the sire to four of my horses, creates highly reactive horses that, in my opinion, are unsuitable mounts for the average rider.
It is all in the genes.
Loving the videos ❤
I was always taught if you do not have something nice to say don't say it at all.. ( to whom ever accuse them of being a puppy mill )
I enjoyed my visit today with the beautiful creatures in your herd.
So sweet the way these two Clydesdale are watching you when you talk. And Oliver raised his head when you mentioned his name it's very sweet! ❤
Watching replay ❤❤❤ 😊😊😊
Nope not a puppy meal. You treat your animals like kings and queens.
You train your horses to become something useful.
Praying 🙏 for Luna.
Puppy mill.
Prayers for Luna she is so beautiful and you all work so hard with her and somehow I feel she knows it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great work, J.R.! Keep going with all you do for the horses and to educate people!
Your horses are so sweet and beautiful. Champ is a very calm stallion.
Your microphone is working well. Thanks for the improvement!
there are trolls all the time. pay no attention!! ur amazing at your livelihood!! forge on!! God Bless!!
When Image died was when I found your channel love it and especially Oliver❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have ridden the Missouri Fox Trotter when we lived in the States. We have lived in Peru for the last 20 years and I own a Peruvian Paso horse riding around the Mountain Quechua communities preaching the Gospel . Thank you for your video. Glory to God for His goodness !
Champ has such a beautiful face!
I'm here! 9.45 am in New Zealand. It's a warm, sunny late spring day and I should be out spraying weeds yet here I am for a little time. while I have a coffee.
Those two boys are like two brothers they just can't stop poking at each other 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 totally understandable!!!
SO GLAD you are responsible breeders! 👏 Keep up the good work! 👍
Y’all’s horses are so beautiful. They look so content
It’s so funny how Oliver has turned the farm into a Missouri fox AND Clydes ranch lol! He’s such a sweet boy! I can’t wait to see his first foal fingers crossed that beauty is pregnant! ❤
JR, you are being a great educator with those horses, LOL!!! All of your critters are so beautiful, precious---and well trained.
Champ is a handsome horse! 😍

Darling is a beauty and seems very gentle and sweet. ❤
I don't own horses, but I enjoy your videos. The horses look healthy and happy. I am learning a lot about horses from you. Ty
Not bored I'm just totaly cracking up watching the boys! Beauty is being such a great gal opposite of the two poking guys!!
Love your lives Sometimes something goes wrong that is life. You are very real! People do not realize the work that goes into what you are doing. You are doing wonderful. Don’t let anyone talk you down. They can all take a hike
Champ has such a pretty head! He and Oliver poking each other is soooo cute! Great video!
Hi, l enjoy the videos on you tube of your foxtrotter horses.
Darling's is a Beautiful horse & I Love her color❣️🐎🐎❤️🥰
I have learned so much about horses from you and Em. Thanks so much. I have been watching over a year now and so love this channel.
Love you and your entire family❤thank you for sharing your lifestyle😊
🎉Jr & Champ are amazing🎉
I finally got you on a live. Love it. I've been watching your channel for quite some time, and really enjoy all your escapades. Love Oliver, Classy, and Nattie. Watched when you attempted to buy Oliver and Nat. I agree that was GOD., the way it turned out. There's a few things we have in common, with time I will tell you . I love what the boys are doing right now. Just telling JR they're bored. They are so funny. Thanks for doing what you do.
I think you are doing a great job with your horses, you really care about them. Don’t take any notice of them they don’t know what they’re are talking about
You really care about your horses
