Hi, what is the name of the tool at 3:58 and where did you buy it, looking to clean and adjust the brakes on my thunderbird this weekend. Many thanks for making the video really helpful
You and us! Wanted to get it running and then fix the paint, then it stood long enough the rust on the bonnet was concerning under a shoddy car cover. Now the paint has taken over a bit and left the mechanical behind. Need to get into it again soon
PedalBox I won’t be doing any videos, cause I’m old, don’t have a camera, lights, time or patience, but...I can update on your channel. I plan to pull the steering box, send it off for rebuild. I just disassembled the brake servo, am going to rebuild. Happy New Year chaps. PS- my other car is a 98 Jaguar XK8 . She’s a cream puff.
Thanks! Not sure why we aren't getting a lot of organic growth, been avoiding just blanketing obviously unconnected tags, doesn't help that our main project isn't really anything well known and searchable, we really need a name. Maybe a competition for a t-shirt for the new website launch and project suggestions will encourage sharing
You don't have to put the shifter in gear and back into park to get the steering wheel/column to slide just gently push the shifter up and the wheel/column will side .

Oh there's a lot to come! Can't decide if that's good or bad though!
Good episode.
Aye loving the content guys, I think the tbird will really help the channel grow. Keep it up 👆
Hope so! Bonnet work is dragging on a bit so the episode is delayed, but it should look a LOT better by the end. no dents and... minimal rust :)
Looking forward to you working on the 66

I recently acquired a 66, sight unseen, Brakes, steering, paint, cooling system. Paint is far down the list. Cheers

Interesting! Everyday's a school day. This might be a bit stiff from sitting I suspect. All the more reason to get on the road!
Bounce bounce bounce... It's a genuine land-whale!
The wobble is real, don't expect to notice many pot holes...
