why would you do that with touch macro when routines have brightness and media volumes settings? which is more reliable and in the background?
@@vadimkolosov it's on automation, location is set to 150m from my home, once I'm out of it. The phone goes back on ringer and sets the brightness to the levels I have set it on. Vice versa for when I arrive at home

I tried good lock on my S22 and since I couldn't find anything on it I wanted to use I uninstalled it. A few few minutes later I went into my phone's Settings and everything but Connections was MISSING. I had to do a factory reset, using the buttons from the OFF state, to get things back to operating normally.

Can you make a routine and show whenever connected to charging automatically set to 80% max charge
You don't need a routine for that, just go into settings, battery, and turn on battery protection (set to max = 80%)
This came at the start of 2022 but unfortunately Samsung couldn't advertise it properly to let it's customers know about it. I love the touch macro and it is very useful. I often use it to automate change of one particular setting of large numbers of apps which could be incredibly difficult if doing manually that needs opening the app info page one by one for every app.

No option in routines to automate the start stop of galaxy watch! Battery dies very quickly in watches so we need routine to automate the start stop of watch at specific times.

I'm talking about routines here not manual switch off / on every time.

One problem is that it does not capture long press (touch). In case if we want to paste something from clipboard. Macrodroid is much versatile for making macros on Android including touch macros.
You can access the clipboard from the keyboard without a long press
@@daleycarter then it defeats the purpose of automation if we have to do manual intervention.
@@vivzbravo what I mean is, while recording the routine you might be able to access the clipboard via the keyboard, and that would negate the need to long press, like a workaround

I set up a macro . I can show off at work. Took me a while to learn it but it's cool, It is useless too but, I had fun with it. But I want to know how to get different colors like you have on your home screen I just have the option for black and white

Download goodlock, inside goodlock install routines+, inside that add touch macro.

touch macros overide one another (i made 2 macros for alarm on different days and the macros turned on and off the same 3 first alarms...) and have the same icon and name. How do i change name and icon?

The touch macro feature is not working in my Samsung s21 Fe. Please give me a solution. I have a doubt on this feature. If we perform the swiping and tapping actions slower, will the touch macro work slower or will it perform at its own speed?
I think you need to install the routines+ module in goodlock, touch macro isn't in the standard routines app.
And it runs at the exact speed you performed the touches in.

If you long press home screen, add widget, modes and Routines, there's an widget for multiple routines 4x1.
Then you can long press that widget, go into settings, and pick which routines to display

This is to complicated. You showed us a routine+ but not how you do that. For example: I have a Google wallet. I want to use the code, turn on NFC and direct use it to pay. The gmail thing you showed has issues here with the already installed signature. It starts writing through the signature. It's too complicated without extra info how you do it.

With my first Samsung, a Galaxy Lite, I didn't have to install another app to get extra features. I'm thinking at some point Samsung designers celebrated with way too much Jin-Ro and happy smoke.
They sell Jin-Ro in the States now but it's been tamed compared to what it was in the 1970's and 1980's. Then you had to flick off the top part before drinking and it would give a blue flame when lit. Just pour a tad in the bottle cap and move a match over it.
