- Slayer are back! The legendary Thrash Metal band will return on stage with the following line up: Tom Araya (bass, vocals), Kerry King (guitar), Gary Holt (guitar) and Paul Bostaph (drums).
Slayer will be headlining two major festivals, Riot Fest and Louder Than Life this autumn!

Tom probably approached Kerry to bring slayer back because he saw all the success of Kerry’s new album and band. Literally kk said they haven’t spoken to each since 2015 or 2019? But I’m glad they’re back hopefully we get new songs from them.
Slayer reunion line up should have :
Tom Araya bass and vocal
Kerry King rhythm & lead guitarist
Pat O Brien lead guitarist
Dave Lombardo drum

not if its just a couple one off shows big deal even if they do it every year or other year as one offs thats cool we will have to wait and see if it turns into a full tour/new album thing or not

I’m not remotely surprised. Tom Araya likes money. Promoters just kept upping the offer and eventually he said yes. I also suspect he’s f+cking with Kerry a bit. As soon as KK announced his solo project, Tom said ‘Ok, let’s reunite!’ 😂
We all have questions but the main thing that we will be able to see them again. And in my case to see them first time ever

It's not a Slayer reunion Jeff and Dave aren't there, It's the reformation.
gary is a decent replacement ( due to the fact jeff died and we dont really have a choice in the matter ) dave and the band dont get along shit happens i saw them with dave and with paul dave is obviously the guy but paul does a good job and these might only be one off shows so either go see them or watch them on you tube or none of the above it is what it is if it doesnt lead to an album or full out tour then a couple one off shows here and there will be a cool thing for fans it will be a mystery where will they show up next right ? only time will tell

they always said they would still play the odd show here and there. as for the interview, kerry understands modern promotion. as for not talking to tom for 5 yrs, totally possible-management probably did all the communique
