- Today we are reviewing this Dewalt compact task light. We have had this light for about 3 months now and love it so much that we wanted to give our review of the light and do a couple light tests. Great video. I just bought the work light - it came with a DeWalt 1.5 amp battery & DBC112 charger - I know, not their greatest but it works) for $99 with free shipping (Lowe’s) & love it - kinda overkill for what I’ll use it for but I’m happy. Thanks for sharing.

I went with a cheap one from aliexpress. It has tons of LEDs on it, and looks much more powerful for only $50 -- I'd like to see a comparison.

Yeah right that's a knock off I have both and I can tell you right now it's no where near as good as this one. By the way more Leds doesn't mean brighter.
I went with the DeWalt so that I'm sure it has a cutout before it over discharges and ruins the lithium batteries.
Not so Water and dust resistant the board on mine fried after about one month from water and dust, the light worked good and I miss it, but i am not going to spend another $130.00 to replace it. any one out there know were you can get a replacement circuit board for this?
Sorry you had an issue with yours. We have not had an issue and our light has been in the rain and in a dusty garage. If you have the PCB number off of your board you can do a google search and you will find them.

High: 2,000 lumens
Medium: 1,000 lumens
Low: 500 lumens

Lost me at Amazon. Don't want knockoff, mine from DeWalt put out way more. Batteries, Amazon was sued over knockoffs. There's a big difference in actually buy batteries from DeWalt vs Amazon.
