No doubt. Especially now that we have Salas. That gives us good flexibility if we need to trade one in a couple years for young talent at another position.
Thank you Marty! As a Padre fan since the days of Westgate Park now living in East Tennessee I am able to keep up on my Pads. Blessings to you and your staff from Richard in Cosby, East Tennessee. GO PADRES! POSITIVE VIBRATIONS!
This kid has everything. I'm not sure what it was initially that bothered people. I'm super excited for Campusano. He has lightning in his bat. I like the way he frames too
to me, he's an enigma...sorta like Frankie Mejia was, to a certain extent. Hard to believe Luis has had 3 different stretches with this team, going back 3 yrs. He's still JUST 24 yo. i wish him the best..But the tale of the tape for this team, in '23, will come down to how well they keep runners off the basepaths....period. Teams that dont have our kind of lineup are going to attack how poorly we throw out runners. Nola only threw out 8 in 60-some chances. And Luis doesnt have a great arm either. So, these new 'pitch over rules' are going to play out in a very fascinating way. this year.
If Luis can rise to his potential it will be huge for the team.

wow! Great interview, Marty! Pulling for Luis to have a great year!
I'm a Campy believer, wanna see him play more. It was nice to hear him speak

Really refreshing interview, honest in his responses and very humble
Great interview, Campy is articulate and seems smart. Hope he has a great 2023, LFGSD!

Can’t wait to see what he’s got!
No doubt.
Great interview. A very articulate and humble young man. Hoping for great things from him.
He seems like a good kid 💯
Great Interview Marty! Thanks 🤙
Hope we actually let him play this year man can hit
That big Motorolla patch oughta pay for Manny's extension.
Hopefully they give him an opportunity to play everyday. If not at catcher I’d love to see him get a opportunity at 1st base.
