I think that this character should have edits to the burning damage stats so it can't use sacred sausage, snake, etc... it just feels wrong (awesome run!)
Prove me wrong the spawning elite feels like it's the only elite that benefits going melee instead of range weapons and that's why it also feels out of place
@@Retromation I think it's pretty easy to dodge them if you are close enough to the elite and you have enough speed you can basically circle around him and from what I personally think most melee weapons are better at killing groups of enemies so it's easier to abuse him spawning enemies
And we also have to remember about weapons such as thief's dagger, ghost flint, ghost axe and even standard knife which get huge bonuses from killing more enemies and on the other side we only ranged eternal weapon which is not that good at cleaning multiple enemies
On this character the real enemy is speed, basically anything with speed hobbles you, while going “okay, take all speed down items” is not a bad start. It seems like hp max, ho regen, dodge, and armor would be the only stats you would really need to win with this. I mean you can grab elemental as it shows up, but its not super needed. And of course anything thats about standing still, including any and all pickup range items, because as you lower your range and up the pickup you can get to the point where you grab everything without moving. Pair that with the “hit enemies when you get pickups/xp” types and you have effectively won the game without ever needing to move.
Having watched for a few months now it really feels like there isn’t much of a challenge in the first twenty waves. I’m pretty sure you could have taken your stats from wave 10 and cleared the final bosses easily. It also makes it feel weird when you say “we could die” on wave 17 with 100 dodge and a ton of HP regen.
There’s very little difficulty even in D5 if you’ve played hundreds of matches. There definitely are some exceptions with some more challenging characters that have awkward starts and scale into immortality.
@@RetromationTo be fair, the modded characters and items tend to be overpowered. Some of the extatonion mods are balanced well and could be in Vanilla.
You want to know why you have no hose? Reto has all of them
Damn it you beat me to it!
But he said they look passable, so idk about that one
You could saying he’s drowning in them…
Water causing burning is wild.
Etsys couch would have been crazy good on this character especially with all the speed down items offered

13:30 awww, Bag would have paid itself off that round.

It"s like a dance. Shoot shoot wallk, shoot shoot walk

It doesn't even though because the attack pattern of the boss itself destroys melee lol

Two of the Gods die. The third cannot.
Just waiting for "Sacred Sausage I know what I said."
Hey reto, can you do a hand gun run?

Play it yourself and see if you feel the same
Lol. I still can’t reliably beat the first 20 waves on danger 5. He just makes it look really easy.

Maaaaan, I like the features of this mod, but can we be honest for a second and acknowledge that every icon added looks like sh*t?
