"Did he say a word and I didn't hear it?"
The priest is cut off as he is saying "It's mother was a jackal!"
The reveal of the canine corpse in the grave drives it home, but jackals aren't really a commonly known animal these days I suppose.
The mental image of a jackal giving birth to a human baby gave me the creeps more than anything in the movie 🤢
Madam, films WERE slower paced in those days, audiences were more patient in those days and were fine with less pacey plots🎩
Most cinematic movies are over 3hrs today
"Is the church going to explode?" .. . somebody has seen too many recent big Hollywood action movies.
2nd is worth checking out.
All 3 are good. The whole trilogy is great.
The Safari Park, which I visited about 10 years on a school trip,is long gone and replaced by the Legoland attraction 🎩
One of my favorite horror movies, I tell everyone it’s a Cute Horror Film lol, it’s also the movie that inspired my as a kid to want a Rottweiler Dog, they’re cute 🖤. The ending was tragic but it did leave it open for a trilogy. Wait till you see who plays Older Damian. He’s a famous actor.
"Rosemary's Baby" is one you might like, from 1968
Facts ❤❤❤100
Definitely
I grew up watching this trilogy of films and I re-visit them once and awhile. Gregory Peck was an amazing actor. He did not just play Atticus Finch; he was Atticus Finch. Another great movie he starred in with Audrey Hepburn was Roman Holiday. I also love watching him in the movie MacArthur, in which he plays General Douglas MacArthur.
The dogs were guardians of Damian along with Nanny
The Nanny in this movie, is in Hot Fuzz she is the receptionist in that movie, the priest that got impaled, was also Dr Who, Patrick Troughton
- "Facist!"
- "Hag"
Definitely worth doing the sequel, part 3 is meh though.
But part 2 explores the diabolical conspiracy further
Its actually a trilogy, and yes they're all good 💀🤘
Omen 2 def.
The word the priest said was "Jackal"🎩
This movie ranked at #16 in the 100 scariest movie moments on Bravo
How about reacting to Sinister (2012)
The two graves are Robert and Kathy. The president obviously knew one of his aides perished and decided to look after his orphaned son - until Damien got adopted by his uncle.
You ABSOLUTELY have to react to Damien: Omen II (1978), it is not a lesser film in anyway shape or form - similarly, 'Psycho II' (1983) needs to be reacted too aswell.
The sequel is very good. You should watch it,
Agreed.
Yes you should watch part 2 followed by part 3' as for that new one coming out it is a prequel, don't know if I'll even bother with that one or not? It doesn't really feel like its needed to me but who knows.
"Doesn't a mother know if they switched the babies ?" Yep a mother does ! Atleast that was the case for me when i was born and they actually mixed up me with another child she instantly recognized that there was something wrong and told the medical team that the kid she was holding isn't hers :D Can't fault a mother's intuition that's for sure
Yes, you should definitely watch all of them. _Omen 2, Omen 3, Omen 4,_ the remake, this year's prequel and the TV series.
I get what you're saying about shielding the children (after the Nanny suddenly hangs herself at the party) - but I liked that they showed everyone completely paralyzed with shock at the site! I think if most people saw something like that so suddenly at a happy event like a kid's birthday party - they too would be too shocked to move or think logically.
Damian's mother was a jackal
The omen lfggggggg. Also the stories of what happened on set are....interesting when they were filming this.
Great reaction! I love this film, i love Damien: Omen 2 even more, so i hope you react to that soon.
Btw the double funeral at the end was Robert and Kathy, but intentionally deceptive at first.
The score in this film won an Oscar. I watched this film as a pre-teen and really scared the $%^@ out of me. :)
Just stopped by to say thx for enjoying The Omen. Being 10 and seeing this in the theaters, it was very creepy.
Glad to hear you are willing to enjoy and appreciate films from that era. (You have an ole soul, and that’s good.)
No CGI, blood and guts, just a great suspension building film.
I personally watch these classics with my Grand Children when we are babysitting (please don’t tell their parents 😜).
Thanks for letting my stop by.
And yes, Psycho is a Hitchcock classic.
If not already, check out the 1973 classic
“The Exorcist “
Yes, watch both Omen 2 and 3. Thx
Oh I forgot to ask, have you reacted to the director’s cut of The Exorcist? I’d pay to see that reaction.
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Young lady, I just want to thank you for your wonderful reactions. I’ve been going through a tough round of chemo, and your reactions help me wind down and get out of my own head. That’s exactly what I need. I’m 88 years old and not too good with internet things. My great grandson set me up on RUclips. I’d like to donate to your channel but am not quite sure what to do. What is Patreon? Is that how I donate to your channel? If you have time, let me know. Thank you again.
This is a epic movie 🎬 i loved ❤❤❤watching This wit you 100
If I recall the novel correctly, the President and Robert had been friends since college. That is what helped Robert to have such a successful diplomatic career.
First time watching.
Also
I think I remember it being scary when i watched it before.
🤔
The ending was perfect. Get over your childish notions that everything needs a happy ending. Tragedy can be absolutely brilliant and this objectively was.
'The best horror movies are the ones that end up in total disaster!' - Dan Curtis, creator of the Gothic television soap opera 'Dark Shadows'.
He makes this statement within the commentary of his terrifying movie 'Burnt Offerings'.
I may be in the minority, but I prefer the remake with Liev Schriever and Julia Stiles.
There is also a really funny spoof of the Damien concept - Little Evil, with Adam Scott.
You are the entire minority. That rubbish lost the instant it became known that Jerry Goldsmith was not the composer....
Marco Beltrami and his generic, bland horror 'stings' a la 'Scream' are not in the same league.
I enjoy your witty style, but not the fragmentation of the movie. We can easily agree on the magnificence of Gregory Peck, but when one watches the movie carefully, it will occur to you that the real star of this blockbuster was the soundtrack. We're approaching the 50th anniversary of the release of The Omen, but we could go another fifty years and still never hear a more imposing soundtrack than Jerry Goldsmith's brilliancy for this flick.
The first sequel to this movie, Damien - Omen II, is worth a look. No menacing rottweilers, but rather, problematic ravens. Veteran actor William Holden and Jonathan Scott-Taylor, who plays 12-year-old Damien, give solid performances. The third movie, 'The Final Conflict' (1981), features Sam Neill giving a solid performance as Damien Thorn, rising in stature and power while desperately searching for the newly-born Nazarene child.

Two graves, Robert and his wife
Please react to Rio
The evidence is "Damning." I notice what you did there.
It's a trilogy. So YES you can watch the sequel as well as the finale.
There was a 4th one from the 90s I think. W a girl instead of a boy. I remember we used to like it but it’s not the same as these ones.
Unbelievably adorable ❤. You know that must be protected at all costs thing? Yes, thats you oh my gosh
I bet anyone sitting in the pictures with her wouldn't agree..... she don't stop chatting through the film.
@@rnw2739 Is the concept of a reaction video confusing to you? 🤔
@LordVolkov LOL, it clearly is to you. Reacting to something is watching it and reacting, a commentary video is quite different and what is presented here.
Congratulations on making a ***t of yourself by butting in and trying to look good lol.
@@rnw2739 Cool semantic argument bro. The entire genre of YT reaction videos disagrees, but sure, whatever. If you don't like the talking, spend your time elsewhere and stop complaining.
@LordVolkov I'm afraid they don't. I've read many semantic arguments on here about the same thing. Usually by simpletons who confuse those two words as you clearly have. How would anyone enjoy a person not hearing the dialogue of a film because they are talking? how would that be a reaction? It really isn't difficult to grasp but hey, I'm aware some people are beyond assistance.
hi if your interested in 70's horror you should watch Stephen king's salem's lot from 1978
you NEVER took this review seriously, talking through out, also you should not be reviewing films youve allready seen ESPECIALLY if you expect the public to pay money for your blaze opinion, even by American standards, your too vocal blaze opinion
You talk too much!
