You really need to grind the bolster down. It's the only way for the cutting edge to come in contact with the cutting board near the heel of the blade.👍
I was tempted to grind it down but like I said in the video that I have a strong hunch that the bolster is hollow. I’ve seen it before and deal with these type of knives from time to time. @ it's a shame that some knives have hollow bolsters. It makes them just use-and-throw-away.
