The other day I came across a video about Vladikavkaz and was shocked. This is a city in the south of Russia, it is located among the mountains, a river flows through the city, the climate is mild, warm and sunny, lovely architecture, amazing atmosphere. In general, there are many very beautiful places to live in the South of Russia; each city has its own wonderful features
Beautiful area on the edge of the mountain range that runs across from Sotchi to the Caspian Sea.
Sounds lovely.❤
Krasnodar Territory (region) is approximately equal in area to Scotland 75 485 км²/78 782 км².
😆🤣😂
I just built a frame house on a pile foundation in the Tula region (2 floors 1450 sq. ft.). Without communications it cost me $52,000.
Thank you for sharing!
land? engeneering? fence? inside finishing and intereer and furniture and all the tech? probs x3 to that.
@@RedboRF region? He did say "without communications" - i.e. all utility connections (power gas, water, sewage) is extra.
@@knopkaplay0507 he didnt mention fence, seption tank, water well, and most importantly, the land. Tula isnt Russia's south, but its not even remotely cheap. and, I asume, its without inside finishing and intereer. my point was, a finished house would be x3 the price, so +- 130-150k in the yank money.
I would never ask someone that question, and besides that , it depends on your taste and the materials you use etc,
Watching from Australia, we are Dutch..(sorry about that)😅it's a joke...😊
Cultural difference :-) If you are a new homeowner in Russia, in a typical conversation the question would pop up soon after "What brings you to Russia" and "How do you like it here", but well before "What are your kids' names". If you are on drinking terms with the person posing the question, you can reasonably expect to be discussing the costs of a square foot of shrinkwrap ceilings, stucco, and plasterboard well before you finish the first bottle.
@@knopkaplay0507 just for the record, the rude responses came from outside of Russia 😉😎
@@ThePlasticRussian Sure. I have to say the topic has become less of a taboo here in the US with the advent of Zillow and other similar apps - now you can see some ballpark numbers for any given property. People still don't feel comfortable asking directly, though :-)
The actual building costs are still a no-go, and building contractors (or even home improvement contractors like roofing, windows, siding, flooring) rarely if ever advertise even ballpark costs, and people are reluctant to share (everyone seems to be under the impression they are getting the deal of the century) which is very, very annoying.
@@knopkaplay0507 USA has a rip off culture so to say, that's why most contractors are "hiding" prices.
Prices from developers range anywhere from 50.000 rubles to 100.000 rubles per square meter (depending on materials wooden frame house vs stone or brick house), exchange rate is approximately 94 rubles for 1 usd, 100 rubles for 1 euro, so thats 500 to 1000 euros per sq meter, a small 100 sq meter house will be 50.000 to 100.000 euros. Plot of land will vary in cost greatly depending on location, some parts can cost next to nothing (5000 euros and up) and some areas land can cost more than to build the house itself. You can also buy factory built houses Fachwerk from 70.000 euros and up, but you need to also find a scenic plot of land near forest, lake or something beautiful to make the use of all glass enormous panels in it 🤗
google Фахверк Домогацкого or Фахверк idea house
I think you may have put euros when you mean roubles..😊

Your house is very beautiful.
Thank you ☺️
I think what people want to generally know is if the materials are less costly in Russia than say, the USA, UK or Canada if they're from the same source ( mainly China). I agree with the others here that is rude to ask what it cost you to build, but I don't think it was their intention. It's all in wording. People need to be more tactful in their conversations.
I appreciate the video brother. Really cleared up some things for me.
Glad it helped
Thank you for that information. Also, do you know if Russia has a golden visa program? I remember reading about an idea of one in 2020, but I'm not sure if it's still in the making.
No idea to be honest, best to check either your countries visa centre
Why did you choose that particular region? Because of the mild climate or any other considerations
I like to be near the sea, the climate was a big consideration, my wife had a flat here at the time.. several reasons to make the choice to come here easier..
Prices for houses can be found in construction companies (to get your bearings) that build cottage communities, townhouses, etc. Their websites have all the information, all the options for houses, all sizes, photos of the outside and inside. And if you plan to build a house yourself, then first you need to buy a plot of land, and then calculate the cost of materials and work in a specific region.
If you buy a plot from a developer it is on the understanding that you will let the developer build the house . The developer typically has a catalogue of house that they can build and you start by picking one of those houses
There could of been at least a ball park for some materials or the plot or anything 😅
You’re absolutely right, there could have been.
There are 89 equal subjects in Russia - republics, territories, oblasts, federal cities, autonomous districts, and autonomous regions.
dude your taste is amazing. everything from the colors to the modern look of the furnishings and finishings and doors, it's all top notch. i'm jealous
Thank you so much 😀
amazing insight thankyou
My pleasure!
What are some sites Of prefabricated housing companies in the Sochi area? I would like to build something in the next couple of years just north of лазаревское.
No idea Stephen, google search should give you the answer 👍🏼
Came here from Sam's channel
What was your reason to move to Russia, pros and cons? It is one of most interesting parts for me
I’ve covered this in videos and live stream, check out my channel 😉👍🏼❤️
It's probably not very easy for you to get used to the Russian mentality?
We have the same values so it’s been much easier than I thought, just need to let go of unimportant stuff instead of stressing about it which is the British way..
