These videos need a disclaimer to tell in which model/trim level and country it is available, it is not in my Kia Niro K4 bought in Republic of Ireland
I do not understand how you can control the steering with the forward and back buttons on the remote... anyone help me out please? (It specifically says "Steering" at 1:12 in the video.)
My question is why is this important? If you already have to line up the car with the spot. Why not just drive it into the spot yourself? I can understand if it's an extremely tight parking space but if that's the case then you probably don't want to park there anyway for fear of getting dinged by the next person beside you.
@@CMCJJTI could see that but in most parking garage scenarios, getting in and out of these spaces isn't as simple and just moving forward or backwards without ability to turn. I could only see it being useful if you literally cannot get into your car because of how tight it is. Then it's great to pull it out enough for you to squeeze in.
I have a Kia Niro EV with this feature but have never used it. To be honest, it's absolutely useless. You don't want to get out of your car in the middle of a parking lot, blocking the way for other cars, to play with this feature. I don't see any scenario for using this function. It would be better if they had faster charging or a higher-quality interior that would not make extraneous noises and squeaks, and it would also be better if they had wireless Android auto and the ability to watch RUclips while the car is charging, and with this extremely low charge rate(40-50kW/h) that the car can accept(never gat 80kW/h), you will have plenty of time to watch the video.
Kia is selling things that is not on the cars I purchased Kia Nero phev touring package that is supposed to be fully loaded. I paid for it go to pick it up no doesn’t have that it. Really pisses me off they are getting away with it.
Hi Ivan, we're sorry to hear about your negative customer service experience. Could you drop let us know what country you're in so we can pass on the customer care info for that region?
The niro looks awesome,really futuristic
Thank you, Alistair. We think so too!
How the hell am I supposed to press and hold the parking view button when I'm outside the car???

It appears that the folks at Kia, aren't intelligent enough to produce an owners manual specific to.... A Trim level. 🤨
This thing is not available for Niro 2023 SX in the US

The car steers to centre in the space as it moves forward, you don't control it.
@@jonyellis : Thanks for that, I appreciate it. 👍
Sooo this is fine to park in tight spots but how are you supposed to get out of them without getting in the car :) ?
it works without being in the car (at least in my Niro EV). This video over complicates it.
I love new Niro
Thank you, Khushank!
@@KiaWorldwideOfficial np I like my new sonerto

What if the tight parking bay is your designated spot in your apartment complex or office building ?

Is this available only on Plug-in and electric or also on the full hybrid version?
No I purchased a 2023 Kia Nero PHEV touring package fully loaded. Come to find out no it doesn’t come with it miss advertised. On several things.
It doesn’t come on the light version ev.
I like the new kia logo, but the old narrator was better.
I like playing together my Niro Ev with it's key...
What seems wrong in this Video: actually you dont have to open the door at all. EVERYTHING can be controlled via Remote.
I live in the USA. They have no clue what they are selling
Have you tried getting in touch with the U.S. customer care team? They can be reached here: ksupport.kiausa.com/ConsumerAffairs. Hope this helps!
