Leizu Moth Inflation Time-Lapse

- A time-lapse video of Leizu the inflatable silk moth, 3.5m (11'6") long. A wingspan so great, multiple strings are necessary. The total inflation time from flat to tight was approximately 10 minutes using the DIDA-2 Metro Vacuum MagicAir Deluxe pump.
Leizu will be at IndyFurCon in Indianapolis this August. Maybe. Also possibly at next year's Furnal Equinox in Toronto. Hopefully. I haven't heard back from Programming for the former, and it will be a while before the latter takes panel applications.

With one or two exceptions such as Lycanna and Doom (and anything that's been rehomed, like the lions and mosasaur), yes. The old Jets dinosaurs were borrowed.

Unfortunately necessary. Means this toy isn't really rideable, I'm not into accidental shibari.
The wings are huge and would tear themselves off under their own weight without the strings.

Shenzhen BeiLe. Easy to work with the sales rep, relatively reliable, sturdy UV print when they get the mix right, decently soft vinyl, can make lapped seams on most load-bearing chambers.
Maybe next time can you add in some background music?
I guess I can experiment with that a bit.
