    What is CCI?
Craniocervical instability (CCI) is a medical condition where there is increased mobility at the craniocervical junction, where the skull meets the spine. The ligamentous connections of the craniocervical junction can be stretched, weakened, or ruptured, leading to stretching and/or compression of the brainstem, upper spinal cord, or cerebellum, causing myelopathy, neck pain, and a range of other symptoms.0 CCI is caused by ligament laxity between the skull and the top two vertebrae (the atlas and the axis), which allows excessive movement and leads to a long list of physical and neurological symptoms.3 CCI primarily occurs in patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other hereditary disorders of connective tissue.2 Symptoms of CCI include excruciating pain close to the neck, skull, and shoulders.
    What is prolotherapy?
Prolotherapy is a nonsurgical regenerative injection technique that involves injecting a small amount of an irritant solution, usually a form of sugar called dextrose, into joints, ligaments, or tendons.2 The injection stimulates the growth of new cells to heal painful areas.1 The body recognizes the irritant and sends immune cells and other chemicals to the area, which starts the body's natural healing process.3 Prolotherapy is used to relieve pain by directly impacting the underlying condition causing that pain. It is a safe and proven treatment that offers lasting relief for many conditions, such as facet syndrome, whiplash, joint sprains, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, tennis elbow, sprains, chronic tendonitis, and more.4 The exact composition of the injection depends on the patient's needs.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬

Watch your video. I am driver for many years and worked in carpentry for years as well. My cervical neck instability is worse now. You described the symptoms to a tee. I seen many doctors at no diagnosis for except being diagnosed with psych issues. Wanted to thank for your video. I believe there needs to be more awareness in the medical field of this type of medical issues.

My beautiful 20 year-old daughter is suffering from this. I bought her a neck brace today. My three daughters have joint laxity and hypermobility, scoliosis, turned in ankles.... The youngest is having POTS symptoms, muscle spasms, brain fog, sore joints, neck pain, the need to pop her joints, difficulty breathing, excessive sweating and oiliness, constant exhaustion, blurred vision depending on the position of her neck, differently dilated pupils, loss of appetite and weight, multiple trips at night to urinate, dry throat and lips, changes in food tolerances, inability to tolerate sound, the need to sleep a lot, the inability to work anymore, the inability to exercise anymore... It has been a nightmare.

I'm crying, I understand you very much. I struggled with this for 6 years. Instability c0-c1-c2. It all started like yours, only with minor symptoms. Over the years, the symptoms became more severe. It's difficult to do anything with your hands. Sometimes it's hard to lift a glass of water. The most effective way I had was injections in the neck and electric shock for 40 minutes.

Thanks for spreading this message. I have a history of ligament laxity in my body and my family and have had multiple operations in the rest of my body. I have had neck pain for a year now which has morphed into the following symptoms:
    - Neck crunching and cracking - feels heavy
    - Ear pain feels like infection, sometimes feels like I’m on a plane and it needs to pop
    - Vertigo
    - Tmj worsening
    - Lower back pain
    - Mast cell activation syndrome
    - SIBO
    - Tendinitis
    - Headache/light headiness
Like yourself I have had many scans and seen many specialists and no one knows what is going on. Thankfully through my research I found CCI and I'm booked in next week for an appointment with a specialist!
