LaBerrick also works for NASA. He is very accomplished and he has always had a Barbecue spot on the side. Because he had a long distance relationship with Destiny I don’t think he knew her very well. Long distance you can pretend to be anybody you want and convince people that you are this person and has this life when all of it is a lie. I have seen it many times. Once he married her and had to live with her on a daily basis he realize she was none of what he thought she was and got out in a hurry and I appreciate that about him he didn’t hesitate to put a end to the lieing and the sham. Like Mel said she apologized to him cause she had blocked him believing what Destiny had said and once she heard LaBerrick’s side she believed him. Destiny was raised in Foster care cause her mother was an addict so she gave Destiny and her brother to Foster care. Her father is from Huntsville and once he found out she was there he went and got her. That’s how she got to Huntsville.

LB didn’t really know Destiny and I think once he found out who she was he wanted “out” I think he only waited until after she delivered Law so he would not be born out of wedlock. Destiny didn’t name him a “junior” because she knew she had creeped out and Moses was one of those people (IMO). We also know Destiny didn’t really get along with LB’s mother by her own admission because a mother “just knows” and she knew her son had made a mistake hooking up with Destiny. IMO

( Destiny said during one of her interviews that LB took care of and provide for his grandparents until they passed and that shouldn't have been put on him and by the time she came along he was burned out and didn't want to take care of anyone else).

I absolutely understand. I’ve been going back and watching with a perspective of what we know today and trust me when I say…it’s even worse watching him in those earlier episodes. I’m working on a playlist about Martell and I constantly have to stop because his mindset is far beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed.

It she handled it with grace and professionalism and cried afterwards. I will never forget how he dug his heels in and question her about her sex life.
